This is a world where the hat determines the level of authority. This decked out ten gallon red silk cowboy hat commands utmost respect. Xero's helmet demonstrates his high status among the military elite. New User's hard hat tells us he's in the working class. John and Snare's hatless heads reveal to us that they are among society's lowest: biologists, mathematicians, artists and IT technicians etc.

I was having trouble selling a skeleton from my closet on Etsy but then Mega Man showed up with a coffin filled with epoxy resin and pointed his buster at me.
I basically ##### myself before I had this sudden flashback of him beating up a Canon EOS 6D Mark II Full Frame DSLR camera the week prior.
He wasn't shooting me at all, you see.
He was shooting me.
So anyway I lowered the skeleton into the resin and we posted the video on Facebook and my net sales skyrocketed from zero to one.

Everyone here has been touched by Mega Man.

My character shall be a blue Pikmin with a leaf on his head and a black hoodie.
The stem of the leaf is short enough such that when the hood is up, the leaf juts out the top like the brim of a baseball cap.
Oh and he has probably somewhere between half and three quarters of the dimensions of John's sprite.

teelio, majikn and anyone else who might be reading, let me know if you'd like to eventually be added to the cast and if so what do you want your sprite to look like.

Quite honored! My current avatar would suffice, or the old-school "white-tux-&-top-hat" TLO. Mikero made the sprite sheet eons ago & I may have one sprite hidden away somewhere.

Lately I've had a fascination with birds, so even a pigeon sporting a white top hat would work as well (TLO may have owed a witch doctor some money from many years ago). Pigeons speak fluent English.

Lately I've had a fascination with birds.

You and me both! I love pigeons too. They make wonderful pets. Right now, I have two budgies and I love them so much. Before I had them though, I had a wonderful little yellow budgie who, despite the species gap, was one of my best friends. Such a good little buddy he was.

But yeah, birds have launched themselves right to the top of my favorite animals, when previously I've been pretty much mostly a fan of invertebrates.

Oh sweet, you're a plant dude too. You and Snare can probably exchange hidden messages via volatile chemicals released into the air in case we get attacked by caterpillars. It happens a lot.

Oh lots of replies, neato. Okay, in that case, I finished everyone's sprite. That's the beauty of minimal effort.



We have: Rez the grouch, Snare the absentminded, Jake the pal, John the sane, Xero the happy-to-be-there, Abe the taciturn, Majikn the assertive who zigs when others zag, Novaman the insane, ASR the comedian, Teelio the bird boy, Mikero the cool guy and Speed Racer, who beat up a cosplayer and stole their props.

I did not! His avatar just looked buff so I assumed he works out. We all look so different now that we’re all grown up. Xero’s fit, John’s no longer a truck and I have bright glowing orange muttonchops.

I had a good chuckle on this one.  I still can't get over how Xero looks stoned off his ass. 

Which is funny because Xero is probably one of the more sober matricians. Rez, I’d peg you as one as well but anger is highly addictive and frankly you’re hooked

Your character is doing all the legwork for this comic. I don't even need to think of a punchline or a set up or any of that nonsense. I just end it with you saying something angry or bitter. Like so:

Initially, it looked like my sprite was in the midst of "flying" or at least trying to flap his arms to fly. Really love the cute lil pigeon sitting on my hat too. Excellent depictions of everyone! Though I feel Abe's sprite comes off as too expressive. So much emotion.

I do work out now (so I don't break my back a second time), but I always wear tank tops as my wardrobe selection is 90% tanks and 10% everything else.

I love my weighted blanket but I wish it wouldn't consistently tear off the fitted sheet from my mattress. Doesn't help that I tend to flop and flounder around like a fish while trying to find a comfortable position.
