Alrighty, I missed this thread's prime...

Here's the shows I actually like, alphabetized due to the fact that I don't like ranking them in any particular order:

- Doctor Who
- Heroes
- House
- Invader Zim
- Lost
- Scrubs
- South Park
- The Office

I haven't watched The Office for a couple seasons now, or maybe just the entire last one. I can't remember, but I need to get caught up. I'm losing interest in Heroes. I can't wait for Lost to return.
Scrubs and South Park are my favorites on the list, but I just renewed my interest in Doctor Who after buying the box set for the [first season of the] new series.

They're gonna be showing Extras, another brit show I like, on the Comedy Network here soon. So I'll finally be able to really watch it.

All of a sudden UK comedies I like are showing up on our stations, like Man Stroke Woman and Spaced.

Apparently there's gonna be an american version of Peep Show though. That will probably be horrible.

I LOVE SPACED. Can't believe I forgot that. Great show, great show. I love Simon Pegg.

I've never seen Extras, but I've heard good things.

I own the complete original UK "The Office" on DVD and I stand by the fact that it is superior to the American version, which is still great.

Extras is alright...

It makes you mildly chuckle about 3 times an episode.

I haven't seen a whole lot of Extras. The one with Daniel Radcliffe was funny but I only saw clips of it, so if those are the only funny parts in the episode then you're right Abe.

Still, I can't wait to see for myself.

I don't like the American version of The Office much at all. I don't see why it's popular really, and they cancel shows like Dead Like Me. I've only seen a bit of the UK The Office, but it was funnier than the American.

And yeah, Spaced is awesome.

Hell, that's a lot more than you can say for most of what's on these days.

The only show that literally never lets me stop laughing for any entire episode is Scrubs, and even though most people I know wildly agree that it's fantastic, I'm sure even that has its fare share of critics.

Yes! Scrubs is fantastic.

I used to really laugh hard and long with Family Guy, but Scrubs does a much better job in that category.

I don't care for Family Guy. I got into it during the whole revival phase, when it came out on DVD. I lost interest, but then I started watching when it came back on the air.

I used to find it funny, but it just doesn't make me laugh anymore.

Scrubs is just comedy genius. It's the embodiment of my sense of humor.

I'd need to watch a new episode of Family Guy, but I just might be on the same boat as you.

I'll make me grin I bet, but I don't know if laughter is part of the show's recipe anymore.

Scrubs is just comedy genius. It's the embodiment of my sense of humor.

100% Truth. With the pulp even.

I love how it's piled with jokes, so as long as you're watching closely, you'll always have something to laugh at. Especially the things that only long-time viewers could catch, like recurring background jokes such as Dr. Mickhead killing his spouse or the hook-hand security guard. Even the musical episode was gold.

After watching a bunch of it, you'll be walking around and noticing your inner monologue, and laughing at how the inner monologues in Peep Show are so realistic.

I'm not gonna' lie, the jumpy camera was a bit hard to get used to at first, but I'm sure it's the sort of thing that grows on you.

Scrubs has inner-monologues, too! Pbbthtbthh!

So, do they sell Peep Show on DVD and if so, is it available in the US? Haha, I'll just look online later, but I might as well get an answer here as well, for conversation's sake.

Only in the UK as far as I know. My friend has season 1 since she lived in Sheffield, England last year, but of course it's region coded so I can't even borrow it.

They're replaying the season 3 finale of Lost in 10 minutes on ABC. Well, 10 minutes for me, at least. Sorry Canucks and other non-USA-goers.

It was an amazing finale, so I'm going to re-watch it. Tomorrow it starts back up again! Hehe, yessss.

It was a VERY different season opener than last years. Also, this is the first season with the first episode's flashbacks to focus on a character other than Jack... well, even though it wasn't really a flashback.

It was a different pace, but I really liked it. It's a very different mood right now. Also, I'm surprised in Jorge Garcia/Hurley's acting. I've liked his more serious roles as of late.

I liked it but it's just another episode, not a big wow or anything episode.

I find Jack kind of bland with his on-the-island stuff anyway. Charlie was my favourite and then Hurls.

I love Hurley... how can you not like him? Seriously?

Charlie was my favorite character by far, but Hurley is up there, too. I used to like Locke but he's changed quite a bit, and though I can't say it's for the worse, it's not something I really like because they're not really showing much of his reasonings, aside from the obvious stuff we know.

I've never liked Jack, he's always been really boring. Same with Kate. Sawyer has been a bit more interesting as of late. Desmond is another favorite, I might add.

I tend to like his stories the most, and he's always been the one to supply comic relief - up until recently, at least. He's gone a bit darker, yes, but so has everybody. Even Charlie had his moment.

I think he's VERY good at conveying emotion. You know damn well when something is wrong and troubling him, or when something is going very well for him. His eyes really light up when his role calls for it, and I simply cannot understand how you - you know what, opinions clash, I'll let it be.

You must be thinking of a different Hurley.

If you consider screwing your massive face up and making big eyes to be the master skills of acting, then I understand how he's good.

You just be hatin' on fatties.

EDIT: And speaking of acting... does anyone else find Matthew Fox to be a very... boring actor? I mean, not a BAD one persay, though he isn't amazing, but moreso... just boring? I saw "We Are Marshall" not too long ago, and it was always like "Ugh, another scene with him..."
I feel the same way with Lost.
I also want to see Vantage Point, and I'm sure it'll be the same with him in there, too.

I like him 'cause it's been like four years and he's still fat yet marooned on an island and that's funny to me. And I like how he runs over stuff and makes goofy faces no matter what situation.

Of course, I've just really started watching Lost so I'm sure all that's said about him is true.

That's well enough time to lose like 20 pounds. You can easily and safely lose 10 pounds in in a couple weeks if you try.

Edit: Also I've decided I'm not talking about Lost theories anymore with anyone.

I don't mind, as long as I'm entertained and they END it properly.

Anyway, I remembered where I heard the 91 days thing. When they re-aired the Season 3 finale the other night, it had pop-up trivia on the bottom of the screen. When they entered the radio tower to end Rosseau's signal, the iteration number could be heard and the pop-up trivia said "According the iteration number, the survivors have now been on the island for 91 days."

Was the iteration number generated by the survivors or the tower or something else? 'Cause if it's anything but the first, that could mean 91 days for anything.

No, on the very first day of the crash, they heard Rosseau's French signal playing over a transciever they had, in the pilot episode. Sayid used the iteration number to conclude that the signal had been playing for 16 years.

I'm assuming the pop-up trivia thing did the math for us and just told us how long it meant the survivors had been on the island, comparing the iteration number in the finale to the number from the first episode.

And I took tomorrow off work because I knew I'd be up so late tonight.
