I just figured, like... ugh. I figured any physical differences were just purposely done for his character in Heroes, plus the British accent threw things off even more, and... well... #####.

It's even worse because NPH is on the revised version of my joke list of "The Only 3 Men I'd #####" along with Robert Downey Jr. and Simon Pegg.

So now I guess I have to add David Anders.

But seriously, NPH or not, Kensei was my favorite character last season in Heroes.

I'm a sucker for British accents. Kidding, but really, I thought that storyline was great, especially near the end of the season.

IT WAS A RE-RUN.

NOBODY TOLD US.

WE ALL GATHERED IN TO WATCH IT AND DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS A RE-RUN UNTIL WE SAW THAT ONE GIRL WHO DIED.

But we're watching Weeds now so it's all good.

I looked at it for a second and saw cameras.

Is that the episode with the black kid and the large tumor on his head?

Yeah it was.

I realized it was rerun in 3 seconds and went back to playing Kingdom Hearts. Honestly, ASR, the big #####ing blob on the guy's face that you saw already didn't clue you in? Probably the most visually memorable patient ever on the show.

Anyway it's weird they never said they weren't gonna do a new one tonight.

I only saw the END of that episode.

When it started, I was like "Oh, they're doing another one of those documentary style episodes?"

Not at all.

Anyway, funny thing about when I was watching the last episode of Heroes online: it froze RIGHT when Sylar (or Gabriel as he prefers... or preferred) started glowing. But, the audio kept going. So, I hear all this crazy ##### and I'm like screaming "UNFREEZE, UNFREEZE!"

My roommate was confused as to why I was going crazy, and I'm like "This #####ing site keeps freezing when I try to watch these episodes!"

And then it goes quiet and he starts doing his own business and I'm just sitting and waiting for it to unfreeze.

Then all of a sudden the video skips to this giant nuclear warhead explosion and I just mutter "#####, I missed an explosion."

My roommate thought this was the funniest thing in the world.

I really need to start watching House.

I'm never gonna, but I'm gonna admit that I fell in love with the show when I watched my first episode in Psychology class. I never turn on my TV for watching TV anymore, but I regret missing all the past episodes.

Okay, just finished Weeds Season 4.

Thank god the finale was light on you - no major cliffhangers.

And yeah, I think I know what moment Edge meant when he said it jumped the shark.
The part with Quinn and Celia?
We all essentially watched this season in two nights. Packed into my room last night and watched seven episodes, and packed in again and watched the final six.

Didn't like this season as much, but I still liked it.

I actually think the entirety of season four jumped the shark.

I'm not saying it was bad; It was just so far removed from the original premise of the show that it felt like it had lost something.

The whole reason that I started watching Weeds was because the idea of a suburbanite soccer-mom selling weed was funny to me.

While she's still a mom, she's no longer a suburbanite, nor can you really call her a soccer-mom anymore. At this point, she's pretty much just a plain old drug dealer, and I know enough of those.

That, and if you really think about all the ##### that's happened to her over the last few years, it's a wonder she hasn't been killed yet.

It also makes it difficult to feel any sort of tension anymore, since some deus ex machina will inevitably pull her ass from the fire.

I feel the same way. Like I said, I didn't like this season as much, and I think all those reasons you posted are valid.

It was also kind of stupid that she moved away, and yet the almost the entire major cast follows her in some way or ends up there for a large amount of time.

I was honestly expecting an entirely new cast save for the family when my friend told me they moved this season. And that wouldn't have bothered me.

But yeah, I agree.

Ugh, a few of my friends like that show "The Girls Next Door" on E!.

I'd understand if they were all guys, but one of them is a girl. I don't understand the appeal of that show AT ALL.

Posted on: 10 October 2008, 17:52:50

I just watched the first episode of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia."

I rather enjoyed it.

I'm gonna' watch a few more episodes before deciding whether or not to buy it on DVD.

Because even though I have access to them all for free online LEGALLY, there's something odd in me that won't let me watch them all unless I pay for them.

My room mate has all the seasons.

It's funny.
I'm home right now, at my computer desk.
I ALMOST turned around to look and see if he was there like I was in dorm room.

Huh.

Needless to say, I can grab a whole bunch of things I forgot to take the first time.

The first episode really just dropped you into the middle of whatever the hell is happening to the point where I had to make sure I was watching the first episode.

But I don't mean that as a bad thing.

Only watched two episodes. When does Danny Devito come in? Is it true that he's funny in this?

I just finished watching the last episode of Six Feet Under.

I loved the show when it first aired, but stopped watching it regularly after the first episode of the third season, due to work and a desire to watch the episodes in the proper order.

After the DVDs were released, I purchased them but hadn't gotten around to watching them until just recently.

While the series hits a lull in the third and fourth season, the last four episodes of the series (season five) make up for everything.

It was a brilliant conclusion to what was all-in-all a brilliant show.

I'm being very wary of which "new" shows I get into lately because I'm a big DVD guy and the cash flow has stopped. Also, I have less time lately. Really, MORE time, but less time that I want to spend on my lonesome watching TV shows.

But Six Feet Under gets enough praise that it's one I'm considering trying it out. Probably not for a while, though.

The last five minutes of the final episode were enough to put the show into my top five.

Seriously, it was a #####ing phenomenal finale.

It couldn't have ended any other way.

9. But you can catch a rerun of the first episode of the new 90210 before it at 8 and see that part with the crappy hyper polygonal MM characters. Not that you'd want to since the 90210 isn't very good.

And yes, I like the original. And there's nothing wrong with that.
