This episode has been completely the most predictable thing ever for 45 minutes straight. And I'm not at all surprised by the fact that it's been this way either. I changed mine a little. It's like Rogue's power from X-Men.
Not really. Used to work like this; Rogue steals their powers first. She CAN take their life force next, or if they don't have powers, but it's not like in the movie. But above all, she can absorb their personality completely. She did that with Ms. Marvel. She more recently absorbed a Hecatomb that contained eight billion minds. So she was bit mental. BUT also her powers, because of Strain 88, had gone ape ##### and she had an instant death touch. But she was cured of all that in Messiah Complex and I haven't seen her since. Her powers now are just to absorbs memories and powers/skills temporarily by skin to skin contact and it's not lethal anymore (or at least not instantly, I'm not sure). Yeah. She's one of my favourite characters..

This episode is like... really killing my interest in the series. That entire scene with the gun was just retarded because there is no other way it could've ended. I'm like, "MAYBE they'll kill one of the mothers. MAYBE. Because there's no way they're going through with such a predictable scene." Like, that was TOO predictable. Although I thought everything with Hiro in Africa so far was really clever and funny, but that's like what, three total minutes of enjoyment? Posted on: 21 October 2008, 02:53:51
Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. "Until you change that attitude... you're grounded."

Just finished the first two seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Ugh. I hate typing "Philadelphia."
On a good note, though, I am giving the show two thumbs way up and a letter grade of A+.
Definitely up there on my list of favorite shows.
I feel like I'd be getting a lot more laughs out of the beginnings of every episode if I didn't already know the title of the episode as I clicked it before watching. Every episode starts with a small scene that leads up to the title card, usually using the title card as a punchline to the joke or to make it a little funnier, especially with that happy easy-listening music. But if I already know the name of the episode, it kind of ruins that first joke for me, and I can clearly tell that if I'd watched them on TV without knowing the names of the episodes, they'd all be laugh-out-loud moments for me.
But yeah, that really hardly detracts from the show at all. Just my own complaining. Even with watching it on TV, I'd still see the episode titles since I have digital cable at home.
Mike, you should give it another chance, I'm convinced you'd like it.

Yep. Can't wait for Part 2 this week. Posted on: 27 October 2008, 14:59:29
Last week I downloaded Season 2 of the new Doctor Who, and I'm currently downloading Season 3 (and have been for 2 days now... very slow. Should be done by tomorrow.) But yeah, Doctor Who Season 1 is probably the most expensive of my DVD collection since it costs $90 retail. I followed it on TV and then got really into it, so I bought the DVD's later. I haven't watched Season 2 or 3 because I missed Season 2 on TV since I had no idea when it was starting, and then I couldn't watch Season 3 since I hadn't seen Season 2. I was putting off watching it because I sort of wanted to buy the DVD's, but... I didn't because they're so expensive. So, now I'm finally catching up, over 2 years later. And I just finished the Christmas episode. "Fantastic." Loved the "Very Arthur Dent. Now that's a good man."
