Um, what? House is on Tuesdays. Were you watching a rerun or something? I don't get it.

Anyway about Heroes, before we get really into this episode I just realized that
the Petrelli dad is going to have Sylar's hunger now, and that was probably future Peter's plan the whole time.

Also yay Elle returns.
OK. It says he had "Methanol poisoning and pheochromocytoma."

The list of episodes on wiki always has a "Final Diagnosis" column.

I'm watching "Shigeru Miyamoto Goes to a Kindergarten" on the Nintendo Channel.

He gets kids to play Wii Music.

It's kinda cute.

They should have a downloadable Wii Channel called the Nintendo Channel that is basically a Nintendo TV station, and it should show old Mario cartoons as well as game news and stuff.

This Heroes episode has been good. Or rather, I liked it, but it wasn't not awesome.

But I had a serious "WHAT?!" in the little preview that makes me actually a bit excited for next episode (2 weeks).

I meant it wasn't awesome or it was not awesome. I didn't mean to have that double negative.

Next episode seems interesting though.

Teasers are supposed to make every next epiosde at least look interesting.

Anyway, Doctor Who Season 2 still rocks. At the Cybermen episode. Well, the part 2 episode.

Watching Canada's Worst Drivers 4. There's more representation from Northen Canada... in 3 it was Thunder Bay and now its Ste Sault Marie.

These drivers are so bad, the worst yet.

That Porsche is ruined.

I didn't know anyone actually watched that show.

Teasers are supposed to make every next epiosde at least look interesting.

Oh thanks I didn't know that because I'm 4 and lobotomized. But real talk, this is one of those episodes that's either flashback+sheds light on early events, or an alternate reality/dream episode. Which is just fine.

With the advent of browsers that aren't IE being able to automatically spell check as you type, the Spell Check button is becoming increasingly obsolete. However, the average newbie is too excited to notice the automatic spell check and could potentially get some use of the button. But I wouldn't bet on it.

W00T! HOUSE

I thought it was a re-run for a second but House's conversation with Cuddy confirmed it was the next episode.

Posted on: 28 October 2008, 19:05:11

That was a GREAT episode.

House never disappoints.

Edit: Also, they really need to make a new opening.

God I love House.
Such an amazing show, and one of the few I actually care to follow.
Poor Cuddy, though.

I also watched an episode of The Mentalist after that. It was actually pretty cool.

The two best episodes this whole season, too.

God I love House.

Yeah man, same here. Of the shows I don't miss, I only really care about Terminator and House.

And this week's House was indeed a good one. I'm actually listening to it a bit now because my mom is watching it (timeshift).

One great thing about House is that I can follow it while drawing/colouring whatever without missing anything from the plot since it's written so well you can just listen to it. It's a show that would translate just fine to audio if it weren't for those silent moments when they show some kind of bleeding or something.

Apparently News Radio is just as good as an audio track on an mp3 player, but you have to have seen the episode(s) in question first. I never really watched that show, it's just what I've heard.

Just finished watching Season 2 of Doctor Who.

That finale was even better than the first season.

I mean, wow. I had tears welling up in my eyes. VERY powerful performances.

...wow.

Watching Doctor Who really unleashes my inner-child. It's like, if this was broadcast in the US when I was kid, I would've been obsessed. I would've been so into it and so attached.

It's so fantastical and imaginative without being nerdy, and it's always JUST on the fringe of being cheesy, but somehow managing to be infinitely charming instead.

And the Doctor... what an amazing character. He's up there in the ranks of my favorite fictional characters of all-time. The expressions... his persona. It's so mystifying. Both Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant are amazing actors in their own rights.

...anyway, onwards to Season 3.

I know, that's why it's funny.

It makes me feel old though.
Like, having grown up beside it, we sort of became acclimated to it as it evolved into the beast it is now. So we never really experienced that first initial "OMFG TEH INTERNEST!!"

I don't like her family, at least.

Oh, I forgot to point out that there was a small Shaun of the Dead reference or a near-exact joke in the first part of the Season/Series 2 finale.

In Shaun of the Dead, during the bit at the end where they're flipping through channels, and they show that talk show Trisha or whatever and she has a guest on the show who's still married to her zombie husband. Like "You go to bed with it?"

They used that EXACT same bit in different context with a ghost. Same talk show, everything.

I'm leaning more towards a Shaun homage since Simon Pegg is a huge fan of the show, had a guest appearance, and narrates Doctor Who Confidential.

Posted on:  7 November 2008, 18:23:55

Ah, speaking of Simon Pegg and Doctor Who...

Last night, I showed a couple of my friends Spaced, and they got so into it that we watched six episodes in a row.

Now, today, just started another episode of Doctor Who and I find Jessica Hynes in a guest role! ##### yeah! I didn't know she landed a role. First Pegg, now her. That is very cool and now I'm excited for the rest of the episode.

Of what I've seen from season 5, "Who Can Bone More Women" was awesome and "Who Can Keep A Dump In Their Pants The Longest" was gross as all but still hilarious.

That, Trailer Park Boys, Corner Gas, Billable Hours, and Rent A Goalie are like my favourite Canadian shows. As well as MTV Live and such, but that's not really what I mean.

EDIT: I just watched one called "Who's The Best Rapper". Oh man.

I started watching Life on Mars, I forgot what channel it was, and when it comes on. Just saw a recording of an episode my girlfriend's mother had on TiVo.

For those that don't know about it, a detective/police guy from modern day life gets knocked into a coma and wakes up in 1973, meeting people he knew from his time that don't know him yet. So he solves cases and such with the police crew. That's as much as I know so far.

Sure it sounds corny, but it grabbed my attention and held it throughout the episode.

Watched the one where a wanted figure named Angel was being hunted by the BLA (Black-something Army) and the police for supposedly throwing a 9 year-old girl off of a building. T'was okay. Hop to see more episodes when I can.

As for House, didn't see any new episodes since the one where House and Cuddy traded saliva.

Pathetic attempt to retcon new characters into season 1 events. Lazy writing. Bad writing.
