Yeah I saw commercials for Dollhouse, it doesn't look like anything. Seems like something that couldn't last very long even if it was good, with a premise like that. I can't wait for Sarah Connor Chronicles to come back, which is like next week or something, but I'm not sure I like where the show is going.

Watched the first series of Black Books. I enjoyed it, but only to an extent and it's not something I'd really reccomend others.

I blind-bought the first season of Dexter.

Just finished the first episode.

Oh man. I'm hooked.

EDIT: Oh, and Conchords last night was FANTASTIC.

some abysmal facial hair.

Understatement of the year. I'm just glad it wasn't ON John.

I really hate the new timeslot, because I really liked that episode but watching it online doesn't help the ratings at all and I don't watch "primetime" on fridays like ever. Friday is where shows go to die, so I guess I have to buy the DVDs of this show while it's still on so I can contribute a bit at least. I want the DVDs anyway so it's not a loss, really.

You don't help the ratings anyway.

Actually, I don't know how it works in Canada, but I'm still pretty sure you're not helping.

Unless you're a registered Nielsen family with a Nielsen Box that uses their Nielsen Box responsibly and signs in when they start watching a show and signs out when they're done, it doesn't matter what you're watching, nobody will ever know.

Dollhouse bombed, as it should have.

Eliza really needs to make a Faith show or go away.

No. As far as I can tell Canada is part of the Nielsen media research for ratings. Especially since all the Canadian shows are rated using it too.

Online it just says "North America". Anyway it doesn't matter because I meant about supporting the show one way or another.

It'll die.

Eliza really needs to make a Faith show or go away.

Yeah well, I don't trust Joss' writing for anything that isn't Buffy or Angel. While Faith is in the same universe... I don't know. I'm kind of off Eliza anyway since Tru Calling. I thought that show was interesting but ultimately it wasn't very good and died like I'm sure Dollhouse has to.

Still love Terminator though.

Finished Season 1 of Dexter.

I could say so much about how awesome it was.

Instead, I'll just say: "##### yeah."

Posted on: 19 February 2009, 21:31:54

...so I started Bones with the girl I promised I'd watch it with.

I hate it. It's boring. Ugh.

Yet I promised I'd watch a full season.

She's watching Lost, Flight of the Conchords, and some other shows that I told her to, so I feel obligated. The difference is that she LOVES all those ones.

Though, the other option she gave me was NCIS. As if that's going to be any better.

I might be able to sit through it because Emily Deschanel looks a lot like her sister. But that's like celebrity-crush sloppy seconds.

Ugh.
She got me into house, and I'm watching that, all the time.
But occasionally we just watch some NCIS and it's laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame.

NCIS is the sort of thing I can look at and just KNOW I'll never enjoy it. And at the same time wonder how anyone can.

At least I can see why some people might like Bones. I just don't like it at all.

But House is actually good.

Really can't go wrong with Hugh Laurie in the star role.

I think it was funnier when nobody was expecting it. If you click the link because I'm saying it's funny, it won't be as entertaining.

This season has been good. I wouldn't say fantastic because the reason it's been good is because things are finally happening and/or being explained. You can't recap Lost by saying "their on the island" anymore.

"Their" instead of "They're."

But yeah. Not a big deal.

And yeah, you're right about this season. It's almost like it's giving off the ILLUSION that it's great because of how much stuff is finally happening. From what I've heard, though, it's going to be like this straight through to the end of the show. Which is great news.

Th-That monkey is a suicide bomber...

I also find it weird there's a black boy in little Betty's class considering African-Americans were only allowed to attend school with Caucasians first in 1964 (yes that recent).

Of course since we all know the main point of the video isn't even plausible, I guess that's OK.

So, right now I'm flipping between Californication Season 2, Dexter Season 3, the full series of Mr. Show, and finally (for the first time since I vowed to watch it years ago) Freaks & Geeks.

Nobody told me Freaks & Geeks took place in a fictional Michigan town between 15 and 16 Mile! (I live on a non-fictional Michigan town on 14 Mile.)

So, like, I've been watching the second season of The Spectacular Spider-Man.. I've watched all of the first season and forgot to mention that it's really swell. Not up to par with the 90's cartoon, but better than that CGI ##### in 2005.

It strays from the original series, but not enough to make you rage.

Anyway, I got a glimpse of Kasady (in a Santa Claus hat LOLOLO OMG) in season 2, but I hear that he won't be making an appearance any time soon. This show is good at foreshadowing..

The 3D Spider-Man in 2005 was NOT that bad. It wasn't good by any means, really, and Harry Osbourne like a few others was ##### on, but it had some cool stuff from what I saw and the theme song was kickin'. It was MTV, I believe, so they were going to set up camp in fusing the movie with MTV style stuff. What you get is Laguna Beach with super peoples. But there was only a few episodes I saw (I mostly just left them on after tuning in for the theme song) and some were actually pretty cool.

The new one is very good, from the one episode I saw. The animation is pretty good and they have

The 90's cartoon, while it's one of my favourites from growing up, wasn't actually all that good if you knew the source material and stuff I guess, but it was damn entertaining. But yeah, "straying off" from that is fine since MOST of it's stuff with anyone who wasn't Peter Parker was actually completely wrong. Prime examples; Secret Wars, Mobius, Clone Saga. And as campy (I guess) as the ending the show was, and as much as I liked it as a doe-eyed fresh faced young chap, it was actually completely and utterly gay. I really don't approve of using the word "gay" that way but I'm too tired to think of something else that conveys what I mean as well as that.

Also that show was followed by the ABYSMAL one about him fighting Venom and Carnage in another dimension where everything was clearly taken out of the Aoen Flux reject designs bin.

Consider yourself lucky, it was pretty crappy. The animation was good, but other than that I hated it, and I watched every single episode too, back then I thought it was the bee's knees. It's never good to continue where the movie left off, it's too much, the movies alone were good, but too much of it caused it to implode on itself. The third movie pretty much showed that. I didn't like the lack of Gwen Stacy either. She played a huge role in the Spidey series.

I don't know why they decided to make Harry look like the Dawson and act like a closeted gay slut. Not a closeted gay guy, no, a closeted manslut dieing to prowl and say "fierce" way too often. You know exactly what I mean.

But the new one seems to be good. It actually has Gwen! IT ACTUALLY HAS LIZ!

The third movie might as well not exist, like the third X-Men movie. Had some OK parts but overall was just a headache. It's not even one of those bad movies I'm glad I saw just because, you know like Attack Of The Clones. It's more like Revenge Of The Sith where I wished I had never bothered. And the Gwen Stacey in the third movie was basically Felicia Hardy, which I found stupid since Felicia would have actually been a neat decision (maybe), not that you're saying she was good in it.

Oh, right before I saw this episode that I saw of the new Spidey show, I saw an episode of Wolverine And The X-Men and it was a TOTAL pile. It's animated like garbage and the whole I was here waiting for "and the X-Men" to show up. They didn't. It was just a really bad Wolverine fighting a really bad Hulk and really bad Wendigos and I wasn't having it.

Apparently the straight to DVD movies "Hulk vs. Wolverine" and "Hulk vs. Thor", packaged together as "Hulk vs.", are spectacular.

I really wanna see the Hulk specials.

The new X-men, or the Wolverine series rather, looks similar to Evolution. And no doubt this Wolverine cartoon is just a popularity boost for the Wolverine movie coming out in May.
