Yeah, it looks droopy and square.

Anyway, if I'm gonna' stop watching Doctor Who, now'd be the time to do it. Russel T. Davies is leaving the show to Steven Moffat, and obviously David Tennant is gone, and the way they wrapped everything up it seems like they're giving Moffat a clean slate to run the show with.

Well, I mean, you might want to skip all the stuff from the 60's and just start with the 2005 revival. Even though I know that's what you meant.

I just want to let you guys know you should be thankful that I haven't been flooding this thread with stuff about Conan is totally getting raped up the urethra by NBC.

Because I haven't shut up about it to anyone else.

It's the topic if nearly every conversation I've been having.
Conan is a million times better than Leno.

Obviously NBC is evil and Conan is good, but what are Leno and Fallon?

I'm grouping Leno under the "evil" umbrella with NBC, since this wouldn't be happening if he wasn't demanding his old time-slot back. HE is the one who made the choice to retire from The Tonight Show, and later decided he wanted his own show at an earlier time. When that didn't work out, he wanted to keep his new show but move it back to his old time slot. Ridiculously unprofessional.

Leno has never been a classy gentleman.

Fallon has done nothing wrong. His show's actually pretty funny. He's the neutral party here, and I don't blame him. Nobody would really care what he has to say anyway.

Jimmy Kimmel, on the other hand, has earned so much of my respect for straight-up lambasting Leno both on his own show (he dressed up as Leno and did an impression for an entire episode, making jabs about how he's taking over all of late night) AND on Leno's show (he made an appearance and verbally dominated Leno about the entire situation while Leno tries his best to dodge the attacks.)

LOST: What The Numbers Really Mean

Little funny blog entry I wrote in preparation for Season 6.

Posted on: 24 January 2010, 16:09:54

I'm really pleased with the direction they're taking Lost this season. Season 1 was survival, Season 2 was the hatch, Season 3 was The Others, Season 4 was The Oceanic 6, and Season 5 was Time Travel, and Season 5 is...
Parallel dimensions!
That's actually really cool and a great way to move the story going. Every season it feels like they pull back another curtain to reveal more of the bigger picture, and it feels like we've finally run out of curtain and now it's only a matter of time before everything finally falls into place.

GREAT premiere episode, with some really touching scenes.
The scene with Jack and Locke in the airport was absolutely perfect. I loved it.
Funny too, I was only watching because we have a few HD channels in the dorms, like 3 (1080i, 1080i, and 720p) and I was flipping through and just left it on hockey because it's fun to watch 1080i TV.

I only watched because I was hanging out with some friends I hadn't seen in a while and they were hell-bent on watching it. I was okay with it because I had just gotten a Shamrock Shake and those put me in the best mood.

I didn't see the first part of the game, but was watching all the way to the end when I turned it on.

I didn't really feel much of anything, watching it by myself. When the US scored I was like "Okay we pretty much lost this I think" but then apparently nevermind.

I WANT TO HATE LADY GAGA BUT HER SONGS ARE CATCHY and that video was actually really cool. I liked the Tarantino-esque vibe it put out. Hell, it even had the Pussy Wagon.

Oh, and "LET'S MAKE A SANDWICH!" part? Amazing.

New Doctor Who.

I was skeptical about the new Doctor when I first saw his photos and from his first appearance at the end of Tennant's final episode... but holy hell, has this premiere got me sold on Matt Smith.

He's going to make a great Doctor.

And the new companion is easily my favorite of any I've seen, which is of course limited to the 2005 reboot and on.

My assistant manager agrees.
He accidentally downloaded just the audio tracks from every single episode but gave them a shot anyway and said it was still just as good.

Anyway I don't know if I've been on since it happened but I'm really into the show Chuck these days.
