I really like Blaze Heatnix, while his stage sucked majorly, he was a fun boss to beat. Then of course Storm Eagle. I guess I'd throw Commander Yammark and the giant Turtle dude whose name escapes me at the moment.

For me, I dunno who my favourite Maverick is... I'd like to say Magma Dragoon simply because he has a little backstory (that and the English version accidentally calls him an "Irregular" XD)

Yes, and plus he has the Street Fighter moves. I always found the whole description of Dragoon to be hilarious. "He betrayed the Irregular Hunter and hid himself in a volcano." LOL! A very awkward but straightforward explanation! He has to be my favorite stage boss (of the various 8 bosses). Wheel Gator also deserves to be mentioned, because if you really pay attention it looks like he's swimming in a pool of blood! I always thought it was being pumped into his chamber from all the victims he was killing in his attack on the city. Or maybe it's just my twisted imagination...

But of course my overall favorite is Double, because he seemed so harmless at first, but he taught those arrogant hunters a leson. I also thought it was funny how X put his complete trust in Double, even though he'd just met him (not to mention he has a rather suspicious name). X truly was naive, just like Double said.

X2: Bubble Crab - He's just so cute.
X3: Blast Hornet - Flies around and attacks you with it's own children.
X4: Magma Dragoon - Backstory and coolest personality.
X5: Squid Adler - He just looks awesome, really.
X6: Commander Yammark - With competition like Shield Sheldon, he was an easy winner.
X7: Splash Warfly - Again, not much competition.
X8: Gravity Antonion - Basically the same as Gravity Beetle, but in 3d.

He has the basic moves though.

Man, that move rocked in XvSF. If Magma had it then you'd never beat him.

What about the mid-air Hadouken?

That one I'm unsure about, since Magma can use a giga attack where hundreds of fireballs come down at you diagonally. This reminds me a lot of one of Akuma's moves. IMO I believe thats his version of the Zanku hadoken.

It's not the same tho, since Magma launches a stream of fire into the sky before the fireballs rain down.

And the attack that looks like Shinku Hadoken comes from his mouth, they're all a bit different. But it's what I believe, nothing more.

All of the moves are slightly diffrent, but obviously based on Ryu, Ken and Akuma.

They are pretty awesome, but he was kind of easy to defeat.

That would make sense.
Double was a really obvious double-agent, but to be perfectly honest he wound up being kind of cool, if not a little random.

Still not as top-notch as Dynamo, though.
