You guys have seen most of this before, but this shelf is now a definitive MegaMan diorama showcase. I removed the MMZ-style Zero and CM X action figures because they don't fit and I don't like them very much. I think this looks awesome.

I want to do the same thing for my Hitchhiker's Guide stuff but I need to find more space.

If you've got the time, definitely do so. I also highly reccomend one of his other books, "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency." I personally can't decide if I like it more than the H2G2 series. It has a sequel, too, and it's amazing but still not as good as the first.

I remember getting the full hardcover Hitchhiker's Guide collection for $10 at Borders waaaaaaaay back in the day. It was the same price as the exact same paperback.

However, just recently, I was getting my friend a birthday present and figured that would be the perfect gift - it's really high-quality for just $10. Instead, I get there and see it for like $25 and I had to settle for the paperback version of JUST the first book with the movie-poster as a cover for it. For $10.

That's what happens when the movie comes out of anything kind of book. Supply and demand. Capitalism.

Anyway, if you can find the collection for cheap, it's your best purchase. It's got a great introduction and it's very nice-looking.
It's got a black cover with golden writing on it, "The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide", and the edges of the pages are all gold, and it's got a black lace "bookmark" built in. You'll know what I mean if you see it.

Recently I got a new phone that's actually from this century (i.e. has a camera) I decided to take some pictures with it. It's night right now so the pictures arent clear though changing the brightness settings helped a bit.

I'll post my other stuff some other day.

First image is my SNES which I would play if it werent for the fact Im missing one of the cords. Second image is my Wacom tablet.

Dude, I have some of the cords. I guarantee.

You know, a gamecube cord does the same thing.
Without the coaxial cable. The Yellow red white ends.
And the N64 one works as well.

And I have those.

And Hancock comics? Cool.

The Hancock thing just a bunch of covers of Hancock comics inside. Didn't realize it was in the shot. I don't know if they're making a comic series or what, but that was one of the free Hancock stuffs we got at work along with hats and shirts (No one saved me a shirt! >:-( )

The covers for the Hitchiker stuff are cool, I like how they all line up together sort of.

The poster's colours aren't actually as dull as that, that's just the photo. So it looks less creepster in real life.

Canadian markups on books are still through the roof even though our dollar is the same now, because publishers seems to feel it's right to straight jack people, so the whole box set was $34.95.

Haha, yeah, my parents cut me off when I turned 18 so $30 is serious damage to me.

I'm working for my dad though, and he works at home in his office in the basement, so it's a very laid-back and convenient way for me to be making money. So I can't complain.

So, Spaced got a US release on DVD today. I watched it once ages ago in bad quality online, and deliberately decided to not watch it again until it found its way across the pond to a US DVD release. I was confident in that.

So, it was a big thing for me to get this finally. I absolutely love the artwork they included throughout the collector's box and the discs themselves. Disc 2 in particular is really cool-looking.

I'm going to set aside some time tonight to watch the entire thing. I was going to watch it with my friend but she just went and got herself grounded so I guess it's just me.

I agree with Abe.

And yeah I've seen that show on TV a few times, but plan to watch it on DVD or something as it's good but I think watching episodes at random is not so hot. Like when I tried to show Jess an episode of Arrested Development and I spent half the episode explaining previous episodes. But we're gonna have an Arrested Development night, I'm forcing it to happen.

Arrested Development is SO not the show to show off a random episode of. It's all built up throughout the whole series, and it's such a complex and quick show that you really can't just jump in. That probably contributed to its cancellation.

I got a lot of my friends into it, but I've seen the first episode like 10 times more than every other one because I feel you have to show them that one first.

while looking for that million dollar bill, I found some other junk in my closet. Which include some homemade MegaMan battle cards from way back when. They weren't limited to BN characters, it had a lot more and some assist cards as well. I planned it out well and when me and my friend played it was very fun! I also have a random battle chip and some wooden thingy I found.

Today I finally bought my Mini Munny after keeping it in my drawer at the store for months and months! I CANNOT wait to colour this thing!

I'm not gonna bother explaining what a Munny is, so I'll let Wiki do it;

Munny is primarily a "Do-it-Yourself" type action figure which the owner can decorate using pens, pencils, markers, paint, and supposedly, ketchup. The action figure is made out of vinyl and has moveable joints.

The random item mine came with is glasses, which the blue one wears here;

I probably won't be doing anything with the glasses, but maybe if/when I make future Munny they will come in handy. I really wanted the trident, because I've been thinking of adding trident proficiency to Mikero. Not his regular weapon (of course, that is always nunchucks and shuriken), but you know something. My reasons for a trident are basically because I'm half "Barbadian" (your word, not ours) and a trident is the symbol on the flag, which has a become an important symbol of my heritage for me. If/when I ever get a tattoo, a trident or Lion of Judah will be prominent, I assure you.

Anyway, I didn't want to get a full size Munny, or the Munny with the car (!), because I'm a Munny virgin and I'd rather pop my cherry with protection on this and colourize a smaller Munny first.

I'm working on ideas in photoshop. I'm mostly thinking of a Mini Mikero Munny, but I might wait until later and experiment with a glow in the dark (would be awesome for the head lights) or black (just a lot less painting) full size Munny for that.

If you care to look it up, Munny and Dunny painting and stuff is really popular with artists on the net. Some AWESOME stuff has been done with them. Right now, I just want to make my own characters (I can't believe I just kind of bought an action fig of one of my characters O_O) until I'm like... comfortable with doing them. And creative. And good.

AAAAAH I'm excited.
