#####. That reminds me of my old one. Except it was the first DS color, not blue.

What did you do for it to end up like that? ._.

No idea. I never tried fixing mine because mine was pretty messed up and I think I lost one of the parts needed to put it together.

You probably can super glue it, but just make sure you don't super glue the DS shut. >_>

That can happen.
You're probably better off leaving it as is.
Since it still works it should be no big deal, but congrats.

I've never even broken a DS.

Same color as mine is, at that.

At least it's still kind of attached though.
This is what happens when I let my girlfriend borrow it (her siblings did the deed, not her).

Why so many PS2s?

H-Hey bud... I'm in need of a slim PS2 power cord, you know... ;-)

You're a Jays fan? I didn't know those still existed. Of course, I was an Expos fan so maybe I'm the endangered species.

Not so funny thing is, all those Ps2s don't have the cables (except for the fat Ps2). :' (

For a while the Ottawa Lynx was farming the Jays (or maybe Expos) but they switched to farming some northern US team. Either way, they closed up last summer. I went to the last game they had (home game, obviously), but now we have absolutely NO baseball in this town other than kids leagues (and I guess there's some beer leagues or something).

Not that a lot of people were into the Lynx these past years since they started sucking and changed colours and mascots, but it sucks not having the OPTION to go see a game. Only one of my friends other than me likes baseball and he lives a couple hours outside Toronto, until he comes back in the fall for school.

Why don't you have a Saturn, Someguy?
WHY?

Oh, well, no one is perfect.

Slim PS2 cords aren't the easiest things to find these days though, so that sucks.
But the good news is that they still probably sell OK without it.

Or you can pick one up at any retail video game store for roughly $14.00. They may not be Sony branded, but they do the same job.

I might have to, even though it's not MY PS2. I just need the other half of the power cord (the part that goes from the outlet to the box converter thing), and my punkass friend can't find it.

I wonder if that's the right part.
I remember there being a slight difference between the PS2 and PS2 slim cords, but maybe my mind is going.

EDIT
Yeah, the shape on the PS2/adapter end is different between them.

The difference between the slim and large power cords was that the large cords contained a rounded side and a boxed side, while the slim model had two rounded sides.

If I recall from experimentation, they're kinda interchangeable.
Not sure what the power difference is between them, but I know the supply handles that anyway.

They're interchangable one way as is, and both ways if you file down the squared portions of the large PS2 cord. Not terribly sure why Sony did that, seeing as the same AV cords work in both.

I have the PSOne power cord, which fits in the back of the slim PS2 and supplies it with power (since the light goes on) but even though my friend said I could try it I'm not keen on the idea since the slim PS2 uses 8.5v and the PSOne's power cord is 7.5v. So yeah.. I don't know.

Yeah, a phat PS2 one will work on that. My cousin has a phat and I have a slim and we used to trade that one cable until he found his own.

Theoretically, it should be fine if you file it down. The wire just carries the power; the device that chops it down to size is the adapter (power supply), which is in the big one's chasis, if I recall.

Wait, PS1? Not... not entirely sure about that. Maybe.
I'm certain Sony does this to force people to order parts from them.

On the other hand the Nintendo power cables and AV cables seem to be annoyingly interchangeable in many instances.

HEY, I used the RF modulator I had for my SNES on my Gamecube up until I got the Wii.
Old TVs. I love the interchangeability.
My sister is using that cord on her N64 now.

Long story short, I spent a few weeks looking for an SNES AV cable only to discover that my Game Cube cable would also work.
Or something similar to that.

They broke the combo with the Wii, however.

Which really pissed me off when we went across the Strait to discover that the TVs at our destination had NO AV JACKS! and our epic Brawl tourney had to wait an additional day while I secured an AV-in RF modulator.

Yesterday I heard they put a new baseball team in Ottawa. I'm not sure what league or anything but I guess they use Jetform Park. I'll have to look into it.

Actually there's nothing to shave down on the PSOne power cord. It's a single unit so it's all built as one, you can't separate wire and adapter like on the PS2 cord, so I wouldn't be able to plug the PS2 adapter to the part I need of the PSOne thing.

I don't think I'm explaining it very clearly but the PSOne power cord would go straight from the outlet to the PS2, and there's no way to actually attach it to the actual PS2 adapter that would turn it into 8.5 volts.

OH, OH, I get what you mean here.
Yeah, that would be bad. The PS2 adapter sort of controls the power input to the system.

... so it could be kinda catastrophic.

For the last 8 days, I have worn nothing but green shirts. Even today I am wearing a green shirt.
I do this every once in a while as a joke. Sort of like, I can feel like a cartoon character who has only one outfit but a whole closet full of it. Except anything green goes.

So, when the laundry was done, this pile was sort of funny to look at.
