Why don't you just check out professional game review sites, like gamespot.com or 1up.com?

Because game companies pay those websites to give them good reviews?

Gamespot for instance, fired someone for giving Kane and Lynch a mediocre review, as the company who made the game recently gave gamespot a LOT of money to re-vamp the website with a Kane and Lynch background and such.

Yeah, its true. The guy who got fired was the same guy who gave Zelda: TP 7.8 I think? And Metroid Prime 3 8.2 or something like that...

I forget the ratings but there was a HUGE #####storm at GameFAQs because those games didn't get rated higher than 9.5.

You can just imagine how happy those people were when he got fired.

Those sound about right for both games if you flip the scores.

Whats the point of firing someone for expressing their opinion when their job is just that, expressing your opinion on that certain game. What a bunch of dumb #####s.

Well 1up.com is useful. I've been reading their mag and a few month's issues ago the editor Dan Shoe Hsu told about how game companies have pulled their ads from the mag because of the reviews they got, but EGM kept right on giving the games the scores they deserved, either good or bad.

Hsu? As in "Hsu and Chan", that comic that used to run in EGM?

I LOVED those guys!

Because that's not his job.

His job is a to give it a good score and to hype the game, depending on how much they payed gamespot for the review.

Dan 'Shoe' Hsu, the greatest editor-in-chief of all time, is leaving EGM. I can't believe it. And he's being replaced by James Mielke. His name sounds so inferior compared to Shoe's. I just got winduh of this after reading my latest EGM mag. I'm so pissed right now.

He was so great a reviewer that the games he truthfully dissed pulled their ads from the magazine.

Advent is a decent game. What really bothers me though is that Model A carries the guns in his/her hands instead of it being attached to the arm like the other series. Having a gun for an arm is what makes MegaMan so awesome and it just does not seem right that now that he is carrying it around in his hands. Nonetheless this is worth playing.

The closest thing to Mega Man are the kart racers in ZX. And personally I found the Zero games to be better than ZX, I didn't like playing as random half assed characters that take on the ability of 20 people, screw the skitso chumps.

I loved Mega Man Zero 2, my favorite game from the Zero series, and beats the ZX games by far.

I haven't played ZX, but I like the concept better than I've liked MMZ through MMZ3 all together.

That's not saying much though, since I like the concept of a two-assed no-headed dog more than I liked MMZ.

That sounds silly. See, MMZ did one thing right, the whole #####ing government was corrupt, not just one high up military dude with a stick up his ass.

Besides, if it ain't Sigma, it ain't worth my time.

YAWNSVILLE. It was Colonel Redips, he corrupted like the whole military or some thing. I can't remember. He wasn't the coolest villain in the game (Epsilon).

ALSO "Epsilon" fits the name scheme. I can't believe I didn't realize that until just now.

Hmmm... I hope I have enough punishment in my bag of pain for this...

ZX games are good, but not Zero.

ZX games are worse than Zero, if thats even possible.  Before your mauling I shall allow you to defend your statement.  Make it good, as you have only 10 seconds.

Command Mission was a bad megaman game and a bad RPG.

No such luxury for you.  You get a tomatoe stick up the ass and a kick into the Mauling tent for a fabulous 6 night 7 day vacation in scenic pain town, where your right to have an opinion will be officially revoked.  Command Mission was an ok RPG and a GOOD X game.  It had it's share of flaws, as most decent RPGs do, but it was FAR from bad and felt like the first real X game since X4.

Better story (still not good but doesn't make me want to throw my DS across the room), less rape-you-up-the-ass difficult, dual screens made certain functions easier (even though those functions were by-and-large stupid), and they're not actually defiling the X series characters anymore, just their 'souls'.

You're not wrong. But I hope when I finally die (March, 2099) my soul doesn't get locked into some suit. I don't need to be the Forsworn Knight (Although he is badass, I don't feel like being locked as an apparition in a suit of armor, unable to do anything for hundreds of years. That's worse than a line at the DMV).
