So, I stayed an extra day since the Truck schedule was pushed back due to Columbus day.

So, on Friday I'll be going back to Boston and then get back on Saturday, rather than going on Thursday night.

I WANT TO GO TO BOSTON...

Then go already, JEEZ.

Posted on: 15 October 2008, 14:28:52

Well, I got back earlier today, and had to go to work, but now I am back.

I had fun in Boston, my girlfriend's comic shop was having a Halloween costume party, so we went to that.

I went as Drunk Tony Stark, and grabbed an empty Beer bottle there.

She went as Black Cat.

She uploaded the pictures on Facebook.

I also got my hair cut earlier at that day from the manliest, no-bull##### barbershop EVER. Only cost ten bucks and lit looks pretty good.

For the entire month of November I'll be pouring about 95% of my spare time into National Novel Writing Month, so expect me to be largely inactive, and if I'm not largely inactive expect it to be because I'm not paying attention in class again.

I'd be going around reading things and looking at rocks and silly things, though. I think resorts and such are stupid because they're all basically the same thing and I don't come out richer for the experience.

Totally agreed.

Our room has a fantastic view from the patio, but it's basically just a view of the resort itself. And it's pretty, but...

...when you're walking down the hall to your room, all the rooms are on the left side, facing the resort. On the right, there are windows that show you the other side of the island. And it just looks so awesome. Like, giant hills and mountains and ##### and I want to climb and hike through and I just can't because my family is convinced that everybody here is a kidnapper or a mugger.

But yeah, I spend a lot of time writing on the computer, which is nice when you're somewhere like Aruba because nice scenery does wonders for your creativity.

I'll go out on vacations in like 12 hours, and will be back on like the 17th or 18th, and I doubt I'll have internet were we are staying, or on the stops we will take before reaching there, so I'll not post or check the forum until later...

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ATE used laptops...

... I don't honestly know the reputation of the "ARMADA E500," but...

Ive had it for about a month, and the joints for the screen have broken, completely, due to simple wear and tear.

Given, the damn thing was connected to the base with brittle plastic, and what I can only compare to sottering wire in plate form.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it has A LOT to do with the computer being sent from Kentucky to Washington, in a four day long trip, during one of the area's biggest snow storm.

So I'm going back to the old one I was using last year, I just have to find the power cord again, and my star key to put it back together with.

Long story short, this crappy laptop is dying, and I'll have to make a switch between two laptops.

For some reason, that made me remember this guy I met in the Flea Market who tried to return a used DS Lite there. He bought the dumb thing and then realized someone superglued the hinges and the L and R buttons.

Anyway, hope the switch is a success.

Hey guys I'm leaving for an indiscriminate amount of time, and subsequently returning at an undisclosed point in the not-so/far-off future, which will most likely result in the standard worshipping and dancing around bonfires to appease my insatiable hunger.

Just kidding.

I'm back for good =)

Hey, guys!

My computer's memory seems to have been overloaded, and I can't access the files through DOS, so I'm probably not going to be on for a while.

PS: Any tips for accessing the files? e-mail me.

Best bet is to boot from a disc (CD, flash drive) and see what you can make of the hard drive from that.
