FOR #####ING CELL PHONES AND JAPAN ONLY.

GOD #####ING DAMN IT! It looks so awesome too. ;-;

For ONCE Capcom does something RIGHT but releases it on the WRONG system. I would've been fine on DS or even PSP but NOOOOOOO!

Posted on:  2 February 2008, 03:02:48

It's subtitled as "Great Five Islands Adventure" BTW.

Here's the post on GameFAQs:

: Dude on GameFAQs
Cell phone savvy Rockman DASH fans in Japan now have something to be excited over, as Rockman DASH: The Great Five Islands Adventure has begun distribution on all 703i and 903i series phones. The game will be released in four installments over the next month and a half, and each of the five islands in the game has seven stages.

Some of the game's features include full 3D animated cut scenes, item development and weapon customization. One of the things we don't really know about now, however, is the storyline (though from a couple screens it appears you have to find parts for the Flutter).

New game screens, old news.

I've said this at the Empire, I'd love to play this game. It looks awesome, but it'll be one cold day in hell before I play cell phone games.

What a waste.

The only way I can possibly see this be in any way beneficial, is if they made a Legends Collection pretty soon with all three Legends games, and this unlockable.

Of course, do prepare for Rez's inevitable ranting about how much a Legends Collection would suck...

Capcom: NEW! LEGENDS COLLECTIONS! THE FIRST THREE LEGENDS GAMES WITH THAT CELL PHONE ONE UNLOCKABLE!

What are the new features? Well, the controls are reversed, MegaMan is now green to suit his Capitan N appearance. Oh and did we mention that all the cutscenes have been replaced with a picture of Zero in a cool pose!?

I was actually aiming for the possibility that they may be poor ports and inferior to the original games.

3D? On Cell phones? What kind of souped up cell phone would you have to have to play this anyway?

This is foolish and lazy on Capcom's part. I like Mega Man, but I don't like the way Capcom handles things sometimes.

If they are going to make a new Legends game start producing it already. And make for a console!

Geez sometimes I think they are as bad as Apogee and Duke Nukem Forever. ;D

Just kidding, nothing is THAT bad.

This is an absolute joke. I mean, there is no denying that alot of people have cellphones and alot of people could buy the game, but, unless you are an absolute expert at phone games, such a complex game would, as I imagine, be clumsy as hell to control. Not to mention only released in Japan. *shakes head* I have NO faith in capcom anymore. NONE. Or at least not for megaman's sake. Well... *goes back to playing MM2*

I agree with Mikero. There's no reason you shouldn't be wearing proper attire, since it appears as though you're having some sort of duel of sorts.

But on the topic of the cellphone game:

Not all cellphone games are horrible. But this one probably is.

Correction:  Cellphone games that aren't Tetris or Pac Man are horrible.  There is a reason that console controlers don't look like phone pads.

A very good one. I made the mistake of buying MegaMan 1 for my cell phone a long ways back. Even though you can pick from a few different control schemes, every single one of them is entirely unplayable.

Many people today find it difficult to play a megaman game on the Nintendo console, what with their easy difficulty settings and whatnot. How they on EARTH expect people to play it on a cell phone withough complete and utter MAD SKITTLZ is beyond me.

CD-i > Cell Phone

GASP.

More like GRASP... Your very own CD-i today, that is!

[/lame]

Texting is only useful when you're too damn impatient to talk to the person and you're taking a crap.

I find it rather useful when she's in England and I'm here considering a few things like the price of long distance calls and the time difference.

I also prefer it because I hate making phone calls unless it's necessary and we can text about how #####ing boring/stupid/gross (yes, gross has come up) our class is while we're in it. Which I think would be quite disrupting to the classroom if I just started talking about it on the phone.

Plus it costs me less to text a quick message than to make a 20 second phone call as my phone is Gaytown, ONT.
