My topic hath been reborn. Thou shalt be overjoyed with ecstasy and enrich thine carpets with urination.

Let's see, I gots this sexy Epson scanner/printer a year or so ago so maybe I'll produce more drawings. I'm slow on spriting, but I do what I can. You know the dealio.

If anyone has some of my artwork, send it to me plz. Otherwise, I'll have to search through the depths of my computer for it, or it may not exist anymore.

Here's a gallery of my good artwork. More will come, and I will update this page as much as I can.

DRAWINGS
Sketches:
--Metall Man
--Balloon Man
MSPaint/Photoshop:
--Comic Jam: MJam - Comic #11 "My Sock!"
--Story Jam: The New Mushroom Order - Comic #10 "Let's Grow!"
--"Abominator - Creator of the Matrix" Card

SPRITES
Gimme a moment durnit!

GAME WORKS
Super Smash Bros. Brawl:
--Windhill Mills - Chaos' Stage: Fight on top of one of the vast windmills of Windhill town, a town famous for their production of electricity through wind-powered technology. (LAST EDIT: 04/18/08)
--Control Tower: A stage similar to Boomer Kuwanger's stage from Mega Man X that adds unique twists to fighting. Launch opponents through the roof and use the elevator as a hideout. (LAST EDIT: 06/24/08)
--STORM HQ: A stage meant for items turned on. The fight will most of the time consist at the very bottom, but at any time you are launched upward, grab an item or two to make a comeback on your way back down. (LAST EDIT: 07/05/08)
--Chaos Haven: In another realm where the universe can be seen, a fight to the death insues. This sanctuary - once known to protect - becomes a dangerous battleground. (LAST EDIT: 06/30/08)
--Club Mega: Although Lenny is absent, this club still proves to be a great hangout among many Matricians, complete with even the top of the tree. (LAST EDIT: 06/03/08)
--Vegas Night: An attempt to a casino style stage. I'd say it's fairly well done. (LAST EDIT: 07/04/08)
--Nightmare Hole: A sloped stage with an endless pit. My best advice is to stay away from the hole, unless you're attempting to throw someone in it. (LAST EDIT: 07/07/08)
--Death Prison: Trapped in a tiny room, the only way to KO a foe is down. If your opponent hides at the top while you're stuck, don't give up... there IS a way to get back up there. (LAST EDIT: 07/10/08)
--Lookout Cliff: An interesting room with many areas to fight, hide, or knock players around. If you rely on the the cliff's ledge to recover, you'll end up disappointed. (LAST EDIT: 07/10/08)

**NOTE: To request a stage, you must have my Wii Address Code and Brawl Friend Code (listed at the bottom of this post). Register these and send me both of your said codes via PM. I'll confirm when I've registered both codes. Upon request, I'll send the stage when available if possible. Request either via PM or by posting in this topic.

WORK IN PROGRESS
--Din Sprite - Mega Man 7 Style

PROJECTS
--The Mega Man Matrix - Babysitting Comic (No permanant title yet. Yet to launch. Possibly a Comic Jam?)

--The Mega Man Matrix - Yu-Gi-Oh! Story Card sets
--The Mega Man Matrix - Phoenix Wright Story comic. (No permanant title yet. Yet to launch)

My dad scanned years ago when I first joined and didn't have a scanner. I no longer have a physical copy of the pictures now.

Bright side though, I kinda like it. I can edit the pictures and give them some color. They'll look much smoother. I've done a little work on Met Man, but I'm not sure when I'm going to finish it.

There's no way black and white scans look "smoother" than grayscale, but OK. They are easier to use the "fill tool" with, but that tool isn't really worth using on it's own so...

Oh no, I'm an idiot. I'm unaware what grayscale is. I'm just saying if I worked on it, it'd look smoother than what I could've done in a normal colored scan.

I was afraid of that.

My scanner right now: If I scanned something, you'd see the whole picture like you would if I just simply handed it to you face-to-face. I don't know the terminology. Since this is black'n'white, I can edit it, add color, and make it look better than the actual picture.

Also, I have no idea what grayscale is.

EDIT: Sano, I had smaller versions of the images, but I think I deleted them off my freewebs account. If they're still on my computer, I'll see what I can do. I don't wanna bother scaling them down right now.

Oh, that's just a colour scan. Anyway you should be able to change between full colour, grayscale, and black and white when scanning. In grayscale it would look exactly the same as the colour except totally desaturated.

I kinda assumed that, but wasn't sure. I can't imagine how it'd be easier to edit than black and white though. I guess I'd have to try it to find out.

New thing. I don't really want to do this, but I have to.

I'm making a poem. A Sonnet to be exact for English class. The requirements are:

Fourteen lines.
Shakespearean rhyme scheme. (ABABCDCDEFEFGG)
Iambic pentameter. (Actually, I just need ten syllables per line)
Apostrophe. (Address an "absent" person like God or a dead relative)
Presents problem/situation in the first twelve lines, and a resolution in the last two.

Oh yeah, and it has to be about love. Great.

It's due Tuesday, and I'm cracking on it now. Expect to see it and any suggestions before the date would be helpful.

Posted on: 13 April 2008, 21:46:44

I'll finish it tommorow, but here's what I've got:

You are close to me every single day.
I'd be a mess without you on my side.
Recognized by all, thieves steal you away.
Without you I couldn't drive, I'd just ride.
I'm quite the cheapskate, that I must agree,
But you're not filthy rich yourself amigo.
Gotta hold whatcha' got 'cause life ain't free.
Don't fret, I won't succumb to greed, no no.

I'm talking about my wallet.

My friend came over. We brawled. He stayed all day. I'm tired. I unintentionally procrastinated.

The actual due date is Wednesday. The extra credit date is tommorow. I'll finish it at school, and if not, it won't hurt much.

Posted on: 15 April 2008, 02:44:52

Alright. I got a free day in my second block class. I managed to finish it, so here it goes:

A Sonnet about my Wallet

You are close to me every single day.
I'd be a mess without you by my side.
Recognized by all, thieves steal you away.
Without you I can’t drive, I'm forced to ride.
I'm quite the cheapskate, that I must agree,
But you are not rich yourself amigo.
Gotta hold whatcha' got 'cause life ain't free.
O Lord, I won't succumb to greed, no no.
I’m blessed by you, you who make dreams come true.
My hunger silenced and desires fulfilled.
You give me many things, that’s what you do.
And my sorrow and depression is killed.
Yet you mask your contents, holding onto sin.
You’re the reason why we’re corrupted men.

With new games to play and more work hours, my time for creativity is limited (although I will admit I never get finished with much of my artwork anyway, so ha).

Nonetheless, I've had this on my mind, about Brawl Stages. About Matricians having Brawl stages. I've already made two of my own theme: "Windhill Mills" and "Chaos Haven", which I will send upon request.

I'm currently doing two more. "Club Mega" and "Texania". I will also send upon request when finished.

I've added another section for Brawl stages on the first post. I'll add Powered Up stages sometime later (maybe).

EDIT: I've sent everyone I could a demo of "Club Mega". Check your Replay data and tell me what you think. If you'd like to request better music to fit the stage, please do so. My personal choices for it were "Chill (Dr. Mario)", "Butter Building", and "Step: Plains".

EDIT2: I've come across an issue when testing it out. Ike can't reach the ladder in Club Mega. I'll figure something out.

EDIT3: Where Lenny used to sit, I've added a spring to make the top floor reachable.

Posted on:  3 June 2008, 02:02:56

K. See this? I quad posted. Soon to be a fiver.

Anyway, I scrapped the whole YuGiOh story regardless of what people think, since I'm a fan. Instead, I'm going to do a smaller version of the idea and turn many Matricians into cards (Staff and Vets get priority). If you receive a PM regarding this, please reply as I'll be discussing about your character design and information to display onto the card. I do NOT have photoshop on my computer, so I'm not literally making the card, just the effects and a drawing.

If I'm not doing that, I'll probably do one of my other projects I've procrastinated to do (but I want to do). And if I'm not doing that, then I'll be making Smash Bros. or Powered Up stages for your enjoyment. Whatever I can do to occupy my free time constructively.

Well, what I'd really like is some criticism on the Club Mega stage, since I want it to be absolutely perfect before I mass send it to everyone. Check your replay data if you have it. I was able to send it to the following:

  • Morgan Guyer (LOUD TREE)
  • Xero
  • NovaMan XP
  • Majikn
  • John C.
  • Sano
  • Mikero
  • Vinchenz

It's a shame we can't play Custom Stages online. This would be a blast.

My Wii hasn't been net connected for a while but I'll get it going soon, if only for this.

And yes that is a total shame, as I'd like to see how you guys do in Mikeropia!

That reminds me. I have to make a Mikeropia after the fall version... But the editor is kind of very limited.

It is, but if you fiddle with it, you can make a decent stage with it.

There's just... not enough options and some of the space objects take up is stupid. A freaking tree doesn't need that much space.

Most of the items take up too much space.

It'll take up 2 blocks wide and 4 blocks tall and it takes up 5x5 instead. Pretty much ruined alot of the stuff I was trying to make.

And dammit, couldn't they have had more than 3 different stage looks? Like maybe a city, or a forest, or something? A factory, the sky, and some random place in Rome isn't really... enough.

I haven't been on my Wii in weeks, but I'll go on it soon and check out the stage, Chaos.

I think I have like 20 stages. Some were from an issue of Nintendo Power's magazine.

I'll update the first page sometime to display them. I'll be glad to send any of them upon request.

I'm currently having issues with two stages: Sky Scramble and Texania.

EDIT: Updated. Check the dates of the stages you've received from me. If yours is outdated, erase it and I'll be happy to send you the improved version.
