I just found a notebook I apparently used for high school years ago. I thought I lost it, but I just found it. Inside are a bunch of designs I had, both character and some level ones (before MMPU was even released, I wanted to create stages like mad). Some are really good, and shows that my drawing skills recently must have slipped, and others are pretty uncreative, bland, or embarrassing. For the latter reason, I won't post them all, and I'm busy now so I'll upload them another day, but a list of what I found is: -Character Design: Element -Elemental Armor Designs for Element: ELEC, BOMB, LEAF, METAL, FIRE, WATER, ICE, DARK, WIND, EARTH, and FLASH. -Robot Master Design: Vanish Man -Robot Master Design: Meteor Man -Robot Master Design: Chill Man -Robot Master Design: Acid Man -Robot Master Design: Thunder Man -Robot Master Design: Carnival Man -Robot Master Design: Cove Man -Doodles experimenting with the menu screens from Mega Man games -Design of... some guy in armor. I don't know. -Lord of the Flies notes (proof that I did this in Sophmore Year) -A list of me trying to write down all the robot masters/mavericks and their weapons. I could only do MMX1 apparently, and only a little bit of MM&B (and I called it MM9 on the paper >.> ) -Stage Design for a Wily Stage 1 (It looks hard, maybe too hard) -Stupid doodle of Element -Interesting doodle of Mega Man, Fire Man, some little pin thing and a giant mecha lizard... thing. -A doodle of... something random. -Doodle of a character (similar to Kian's) -My VERY first design of Chaos (... in armor. ... with a helmet on the side. >.> ) -A pretty cool character design of Alastor. -Random doodle of Jake and TLO. -Other random doodles of less importance. And I remember drawing "Chaos" for the first time in Physical Science. I drew Met Man and Balloon Man in same class also. Posted on: 2 May 2009, 03:31:06
Okay, here are all the drawings I feel were remotely worthy of posting. I drew all of these 4 years ago. These are untouched and have not been modified. Below you see: -My design for Element, a robot who can change form when obtaining a speicific weapon. -Several random doodles. I'm impressed with Mega Man and the page with the robotic squid personally. -Robot Master designs. The best there are Chill Man, Carnival Man, and Thunder Man. Vanish Man is okay and the rest were failed experiments to tell the truth (Although I have a good updated design for Meteor Man I drew before finding these). -Alastor in his glory -Doodling Jake and TLO. -My first design of Chaos, in armor. Still good as always, besides the helmet on the side.

Also, I think you are overusing the window thing. Buildings are not 80% covered in windows, usually. But it's really good, I like it.
Not in real life, but this is MAGAMAN WROLD And yeah. Basically, it's pretty standard in the beginning. Like an average Mega Man stage, you learn about a gimmick in it's earlier stages and thus use it to your advantage later. I set up two for this stage. The Upstarts and Sidekicks, and a ninja has to have some fall-through flooring (Like Concrete Man's stage). The Upstarts and Sidekicks are pretty basic in the beginning, just so you can understand their function, and in the room with those gray blocks inside the building, some of those are false and you'll fall through them. After getting to the top, you use Upstarts and Sidekicks to avoid the spikes, and the last room with the false blocks would be the most difficult, since there are spikes at the bottom. Finally, you make some final jumps over more Upstarts and Sidekicks towards the boss chamber. The boss chamber is actually an elevator which will take you up to the next screen, which is supposed to be a long and quick elevator ride like Gyro Man's stage to the top of the building. During the ride, I'd figure you'd see Mikero leaping upward outside, faster than the speed of the elevator so he can beat you to the top. When you're at the top, the battle starts like normal. Mikero falls from the sky, does a little pose, and the boss meter fills up. The room where you enter through the broken glass is going to be a mini-boss. The glass below explodes which will drop you into the checkpoint room. Mikero's boss room is outside on a building rooftop because every Matrician boss gets a special move. Mikero's is Mikeropian Burial, where Mikero jumps into the background, stands on the pole, and his scarf blows in the wind. Whichever the direction of his scarf blows, that's the direction the massive tidal wave will head, which will try to flush you off to your death. Yes. Mikero floods the whole city. It's awesome.

Thanks. I have a bunch of enemy designs for the stage but instead of uploading them, I'll name/describe them (No-names will be in brackets). Metall Over-Joe [Moving Enemy] (As seen in MM1, MM2, MM9, etc) [Three-way Canon] (I scrapped the earlier one I posted, and yes, it has eyes) Tear Dropper Eye Spider Bomb Bandit (Mini-boss) Posted on: 9 May 2009, 00:50:21
Uploaded the version with items and enemies. So far, it's just the Sidekicks and Upstarts for enemies, because I haven't sprited the others. This is still unfinished but I'll inform you when it's done. I don't know if I'm gonna bother adding the stars and city landscape now either. Maybe I'll do it last or something. Mikero's Stage (Full Map)

I'm glad you like it, and yeah, I know the perspective with the signal is whack. I was intentionally gonna make custom clouds but I kept messing up so I just took clouds ripped straight from the NES MM7 and put them there. That's why it looks a little off, but I still think it's pretty neat. It's just there for decoration, so I'm sure during the battle the signal could just flicker off if desired. Say hello to my version of a Sniper Joe. Basically the same type as the one in Mega Man 1, except he has the ability to charge his buster. When he fires a charged shot, a semi-larger shot appears that will break up into five mini shots when it collides with an object. In a nutshell, it's a Sniper Joe that knows Shotgun Ice. >.> Sprite changes that you can't tell unless you compare them are the shape of his buster and the color of his eye. Upon Annie's request, here's a black version. I think the black one is better. Yeah, I think I'll use the black one. EDIT: Deleted the Green one.
