X's ultimate form was nice, but Axl's was literary invincible. Thats why I gave most the form duration to him. I know Spider's was the same, but he was not playable the whole game...THAT really annoyed me!

I had Axl, Cinnamon, and X in almost the whole game...Changing them seldomly as they get hurt. Zero was simply to close range for me and I could never use him correctly.

Actually I think Cinnamon was the best character in the game because of her healing powers. I never would have never beat the game without her....Of course my PS2 Analog sticks have not been the same since.

My CM party gets switched around a lot.  The team I beat the game with the first time was X, Zero, Cinnamon.  I used Spider a lot when he was accessible, though.  Statistically, he still has the highest battle percentage of the party.

As for the topic's question, not that it matters, I say X.  The powerful pacifist - gotta love him.
