I know we used to have one like this.

Right now, I'm sporting the Black Mesa logo until I find something better. Still looking for something fancy like a really nice barcode or a graffiti like in V for Vendetta or a gasmask or something similarly cyber- or dieselpunk.

From Hellboy (can't remember which comic -- I think it was Makoma), slightly edited. Mostly the colour and shifting the balloon so it fit inside the square.

Yeah, but off-screen he's fighting an enormous gorilla. Which brings me to why I didn't recognize it: JC's avatar has his face flipped facing right, when on the cover it's facing left.

...Yeah, I couldn't really find anything else better on my harddrive.  I'll replace it later.

I like the hat... or fedora... whatever.

Chron, are you telling me that you truly thought "it was so hard to tell" what Xero's avatar was? Because unless you say yes, you were using sarcasm.

A fedora is a type of hat.

I was using triply-indirect sarcasm.

It's Makoma.

I know because I actually have both issues of Makoma, and the trade they were collected in.

The Northern Bog Fedora have cylindrical bodies covered with long grey or brown fur with pale grey underparts, and sport grooved upper incisors. Found in wet northern forests, bogs, tundra and meadows, they feed on grasses, sedges, snails, and slugs.

I liked it better facing the text.
If you've been to his site lately he's been mentioning a robot master of his... 'VagEyenaMan.'
Good stuff.
Also, I picked up the AoM right before the game the turned our season to a winning one. It is a powerful tome indeed.

Reminds me of that Flash Focus game for the DS. Good game, by the way. It's like Brain Age for your eyes. They use the letter C facing all 4 directions in a lot of the activities, with a narrow opening.
