Shoes are cool. Especially Nike's and Jordan's. But I only wear Champions. They're a nice alternative.

If you're looking for a nice alternative, try Saucony.  They have some the coolest patterns I've ever seen and they've got tiny price tags.  Good running shoes.

'Course I really only check out the guy's section, but seeing as how you're not a dude, I thought those would be more appropriate.  Still kickass though.

You're a man who know what he like, Mike. I dunno how to root for at the finals.  I guess I'd rather want Boston to win than let Kobe get all the glory.

Boston's my team and I'm just ecstatic they've gotten to finals for the first time in like forever, but now I really want them to get their 17th Championship and [hopefully] rekindle the old rivalry. Rivalries are great. Of course, this rivalry is based on Boston beating the piss out of the Lakers at Championships, so that's the only way I want it rekindled. ;-)

I want the shoes for colour, more than anything though. It's just bonus that's it's team support.

Jake, that link is showing me just a bunch of Asics that they call 'saucony.'

I love Asics, you can custom order any pair to be any color combination. My friend and co-captain for track ordered some of the strangest looking ones you could design, mostly neon greens and oranges.
People noticed him running with those on.

Those first two pictures, same idea, but even more colorful.
Kids at my school have the most 80's shoes they can find.

Those are pretty tight, I likes me some Reeboks.  Is it made from the same material as an actual tennis ball? If so, that's awesome.

Are you serious? Sauconies are ugly. The running ones, anyways. When I said Champions were a nice alternative, I meant that they looked as good as Nikes and Jordan while being very affordable. All the Champion shoes I have I've bought around $10 to $17 dollars. They're great all purpose shoes.

But those last two Sauconies are sick. Almost comparable to Nikes. Except it's excessively glossy.

Well he has good reason to. They're the best. But he must have a lot of money. Twelve pairs alone could total at least $600.

I meant Nike Dunks, got it mixed up. Don't know how those are priced compared with Air Forces but they're probably just as expensive.

Even at a Nike Outlet Store, the cheapest they had were $30. And that's pretty expensive for me, the girl who spends less than $17 on cheap Champions.

Yep.  And also the "older" people who have lost their jobs and need work, and will actually be able to work for more than a few months.  It's understandable, but still very frustrating for me.

Actually, they don't even want the graduates.
All they care about these days is experience.

It is mildly frustrating.

I want a job, too. Preferably game design, but that's not really panning out like I thought.

If they make a Lazengann one I will flip. I'll probably buy the Gurren(red) one, but not over the interwebs. If I see it in a store, and it's UNDER 30 bucks I'll snatch it up. >.>

Also, less geeky and quite badass.

Some company hired me to take part of a test. They say I get cake at the end. I see no problem here.

Come on, free cake? What could possibly go wrong?

Working in groceries can be hard work depending on what they give you.
And by "hard" I mean "lifting lots of cans and placing them on shelves".

I want Heelies. I keep seeing kids rolling around on them and I think that's awesome but they don't make any in my size, despite how small I am.

You must have huge feet, then.

Yeah, fast food is not as easy as it seems unless you've got a knack for dealing with people yelling at you (be it customers or managers or coworkers).

Also, it's terrible for your skin and hair, as well as the fact that uniforms are never flattering.

Afterwards I found out that they do make Heelies in my size, but so far I haven't found them in my size at any actual stores. I don't really look for them, but when I see them on the shelves I casually check. I wear a 9 1/2.

I've never been a shoe guy, anyway. I've bought the EXACT same pair of shoes three times over. Exact replacements every time one pair gets worn out. There are usually like very slight differences but essentially it's the same pair of shoes.

I did that but at least they were newer editions of the same shoe with different colours.

No. Grocery stores suck to work in, in general. Pretty much everyone I know who's worked in a Loeb hated it, and I hated working at Market Fresh along with others who worked there. And putting junk on shelves was not my job. I doubt it even was anyone's ENTIRE job, too.

I worked at an ice cream shop for two summers and I only liked it because I got free ice cream.

I also had to make the waffle cones, so every hour or so I'd "overcook" a few cones to munch on in-between.

I've done both. They were about the same, but that's 'cause my department at the grocery store had similar work. But still the grocery store was slightly better, so yeah.
