I forget now who it was, but I remember someone saying that they wanted a new copy of Megaman Legends 2....At a reasonable price.

I found this:

http://neugames.stores.yahoo.net/megmanleg2ps.html

Its rather cheap only 19$.

Just thought I might bring this to attention.

... Now if I can just get my parents to buy it...

EDIT: It doesn't say the condition. Am I to assume it's brand new? I don't mind used as long as the case and booklet is in good condition and the game itself is 100% playable.

After looking further at the site...I would be careful about ordering something there and or giving away your personal infomation....Almost all the links on the front page are broken. Order at your own risk.

Sorry about that, I knew it looked to good to be true.  :P

You're so wrong, my friend.

Gamestop is one of the LEAST likely places you'll find it. You'd have better luck finding X7 there.

Even the Flea Market shrugs their shoulders when I ask them if they have the game.

My brother managed to find our copy at our local GameStop, but that was pure luck, I'm sure.  He paid about $13 for it.

It'd be quite a gem if I found one at a Gamestop. My best shot of getting the game is the flea market, and everytime I ask, they don't have it either. I'm desperately wanting a game that's out of my grasp.

Keep looking in Gamestops, flea markets and Goodwills.

You never know, but your chances really are not that high. :(

I can see you really want it, so If I ever find an extra one somewhere I'll sell it to you for cheap. Seriously.

However, for the sake of patronization, I'll check our computers tonight, and see which stores, if any, have one.

They just opened up a brand new Gamestop near my house, and they don't even sell used PS1 games. Or used N64 games.

However, they do sell used original Game Boy games... but no used Game Boys of any sort that could play them.

So does the Gamestop closest to me.

I used to see a small bin for used N64 stuff nearby the counter before the Wii and PS3 were released though. It had a sign saying that regardless if they were sold or not, they'd be removed from the store for good soon.

They still have used Gamegear and Gameboy stuff, yes. I got my Mega Man Xtreme at a Gamestop.

Thats stupid, thats the main reason I go to stores that sell used video games.

There is a card store at the mall in my area that sells NES, PS1, N64, Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo games and systems. They have a small, but cool selection....There was Sega CD System last time I was there..

Meh. If all else fails....I still have estarland.com!

Checked our computers this evening, which means I checked every Gamestop/EB Games/Funco Land/Rhino Games in the continental US.

None of us have a copy of MML2.

Even more painful, if we did, it would only be $12.99

I don't see how it's painful. Maybe that's business inexperience. That sounds like a good price, and I've seen cheaper.

I saw some PS2 game in December that was literally $1.99. Must've been pretty #####ty.

... It's painful because that's a significantly better price than what it runs for on Amazon (~$50)

I'd hardly say Gamestop is lacking in business experience, and I KNOW that wasn't directed toward me.

We've got PS2 games for $0.99, and quite a few of them. Usually they're either really #####ty, super common, or a Madden game (in which case they're both).

Last thing I bought from Gamestop was the Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition Gamecube Disk.

It had a big "NOT FOR RESALE" thing printed on it.

Guitar Hero 3 discs (if they came in the guitar & game bundle) are marked the same way.

As are a lot of other things.

Not For Resale applies to things in their new state. For example: I couldn't open a White PS2 with Singstar bundle and sell both pieces separately as new items.

The thing is, we don't buy bundles (save for a single controller with your system and the cords and such), we only buy constituent parts. So you would trade in your Guitar Hero 3 disc and the controller as two separate items. We would then sell them as such.

I figured it wasn't anything big otherwise they wouldn't be selling it, I just found it funny.

Somewhat related, I filled out an application for the new Gamestop that opened literally only 3 minute drive away from me. I have yet to drop it off.

Yeah, that's exactly it. Saying an employee of a business has a lack of experience I find to be a lttle stupid anyway, so I wasn't directing it to Edge.

The starting pay is ass. Minimum wage in most places. It may also only be a practice here, but most of our part time employees only get 5-10 hours a week.

On the plus side, we get 15% off of everything (except consoles) and anything that comes into the store used we have the ability to check out. It's like renting ##### for free.

We also get 20% off at Barnes and Noble.

If you end up with a management position like mine, they pay is around $7.50 an hour (varies by location) but honestly, I'd trade that raise to no longer have to deal with have the stupid ##### I get each day.

It's too bad none of you live near me, we're about to #####-can a worthless employee, and I need competent people.

You know what's interesting? I'm not sure if I've gotten a raise or not. I think I might've since I've been there for like a year and half, but if I still make minimum I don't mind since I love the job.

But minimum wage in Ontario is 8$ and we've recently been pushing for 10$ because eight isn't a living wage. Why is that interesting? Well now that our dollar is up, our minimum wage totally outweighs the U.S.'s and the balance is all weird. It used to be like, minimum was 4$ in the States and 6.85$ here. Works out for me though.

I still haven't turned in my application but I plan on stopping by tomorrow. I shouldn't have marked the date on it when I first filled it out, probably makes me look lazy. February 18th my ass.

Anyway, I know about the discount. I have a friend who works at Barnes & Noble so I make her come with me whenever I need to buy a game. Very useful, even if it's kind of mean to use her like that. Saved me enough money to not care.

I worked at an ice cream/chocolate shop over the last two summers and got around $7.00 an hour my second summer. Very reasonable pay considering all the hours I clocked in.
4th of July weekend gave me over $100 when you added in the massive amounts of tips. Best weekend ever, considering all I did was make waffle cones and serve ice cream.

over here, our min wage just went up to $8.05.

Over here is WA state by the way.

From the way I hear it from many people from Vancouver, though the dollar is up, the CA inflation is not, so they are paying for a snickers candy bar for about $1.40, whereas here in the states, it's $0.80.

Our dollar has been at par, just under par, and over par with the U.S. dollar for a while. Constantly fluctuating between at par and over seems to be what it's doing most. However, they have changed the prices of nothing, making book stores a damn killing.

Before our dollar was up, my store started charing the U.S. cover price on everything because we barely lost any money by doing it and saved our customers a bundle. Then the dollar went up right after, and everything was even cooler. But there are still a lot of places charging Canadian cover prices and ##### like that, it's stupid.

The only place having the dollar up actually means you get more for your buck is in the U.S. That's soooo lame.

The fact that we're about to write every tax paying American a check for at least $300 doesn't help the value of our dollar any.

If you live near a Gamestop that has PS1 or N64 games, stock up now.

They're scheduled to be pennied out this coming week, and will then vanish from all of our stores, permanently.

Thats lame. Thats why I go to places like Gamestop....I suppose estarland.com does just as well(if not better) than Gamestop.

You are right I just went to the Gamestop in the Mall of America(1 of the 2 Gamestops that are in that crazy place) and no PS1, N64, or GB games were to be found.

I just don't understand why they won't even take them anymore....I mean they can still make money off them. I guess they just take up more space I suppose.....
