Power Battle and Power Fighters. Both of them are 2 of the best Arcade games i've ever played. Anyone like it? How good are you?

Best arcade games? Seriously?

Wow.

I haven't played in a few years, nor do I really want to pick them back up.

They were alright. Definitely fun, but way too short, no replay value besides getting each characters ending..

Power fighters was good. But yeah I agree abit on the short side. They could've made alot more money if they made it like metal slug or something. Playing an entire stage that scrolls with you, then when you enter the boss lair, the fun kicks up...I wish I worked for Capcom back then.  Also the only replay value I seen, was in 2 when you get that story that shows Zero...Sigh, the closest we get to the X series forming from Megaman.

Power Fighters wouldn't beat Marvel VS Capcom. At least M VS C was an actual fighting game.

Marvel vs. Capcom owns just about every other arcade game.

Right after they make Mega Man Legends 3 and a sequel to Street Fighter 2010.

Power Fighters of the MM firghters (including MM7's jargon).

Aren't there already 100 of this thread?

Anyway I like SNK vs. Capcom 2 over all Marvel vs. Capcom games.

All of those were good, anyway.

MVC1 is still best though.

I would not call them the greatest arcade games ever...That is a bit of a stretch.

They are fun but laughably easy with just half a handful of quarters.

Marvel Vs Capcom is great, I wish I could get the second game for less than 80$ though...

X series Zero, aka the REAL Zero.  Just give him his X4 moveset and BAM.  ##### that SNK vs Capcom MMZ bull#####.  ##### IT TO HELL.

But yeah... MvC1 is one of the few fighers I actually play off and on.  At least it had a story mode of... sorts.  And it's BGM didn't sound like elevator music...

They were pretty good. I kicked ass with Bass in both, but suck as protoman. It's a good thing I decided to actually use him, his ending in the second game is actually pretty influential on a future game from the classic series. For those who haven't beat it...
Dr. Light reveals that he has some sort of power usage problem or something. It gives Protoman a limited time until he "dies", but it doesn't say how long it will take. He also refuses to get fixed on the grounds that he says that he knows his body better than anyone else and the fact that he can teleport away faster than Dr. Light can get a screwdriver at him.
And now I'm imagining Light running around chasing Protoman with a screwdriver.

Yes, but it doesn't reveal anything you couldn't guess from the X games. It pretty much only reveals that Zero will be more powerful than Bass and will have a second project to accompany him (the Zero/Sigma/maverick virus). Same applies to the first's Megaman ending when Light begins working on X. I'm thinking of uploading the endings to youtube sometime.
