These guys are all most in ever megaman game like metools. Why do they look some much like protoman? is protoman a better version of a sinper joe (maybe not because he was Dr. light's and Wiley's first robot)

Protoman was made first, the Joe's were just mass production models of Protoman.

They don't look that much like Protoman. They have shields and are humanoid robots, that's it.

If protoman was wearing the breakman helmet he would look like a red sniper joe with a scarf.
also, what happened to the breakman helmet?

In MMPU when you played as ProtoMan he said something about the Joes in the Copy Bot Battle.

Something like "First the Sniper Joes, and now this." Or something like that.

Mm no. The sprites look a lot alike but official art has a totally different buster on the Joes and the shield is a different shape. The Joes wear a little sweater vest too.

The only similarities between the regular Sniper Joe and Protoman is the shield and a helmet Protoman wore ONE time.

Sniper Joe...Was he that green guy in MM7 with the red Vile-ish eyes and a shield?

Why do they look some much like protoman?

Because, Capcom is lazy...And Dr.Wily is a copycat.

Speaking of which this is my 100th post, making me a Sniper Joe! ;D

I'S OVER NIN--

I can't finish it.

I still try to keep it a practice to keep as few posts as possible... by thinking about my posts, and wondering if I really want to post something that wouldn't contribute to the board...

Usually, the things I decide I want to post, don't get posted, and the world is a better place for it.

No, if you have WiFi access now. Capcom gave him away.

But, before they did, it was kinda hard. You had to beat all 100 Challenges.

It was time-consuming, not hard, and it was certainly fun.

It doesn't sound fun, to be honest. Though, I have no idea what those Challenges entail; I just don't like that kind of stuff too much.

Hard for ME at least... Some of them were just annoying if anything.

They were little things like Collect All The Orbs or Race to the Finish likenesses.
It was very welcome extra content for a MegaMan game.
The final 10 challenges were Boss Mode challenges which is really cool for a MegaMan game.

The Boss Mode challenges were good. Although if you wanted to you could use MegaMan C to beat it easily. :\

I remember beating the hardest Boss Battle before three of the other ones in the same category, so I used MegaMan C on those last three to make them easier.

Can Sega CD shoot charge shots?

You can play as four versions of MegaMan: Rock (called Mega in-game for whatever brilliant reason), who can only kick and nothing else, MegaMan, who is the normal old hero we know and love, MegaMan S, who is identical to MegaMan except he can slide, and MegaMan C, who is identical to MegaMan S except he can shoot charge shots that are just as powerful at mid-charge as they are at full charge.

In Powered Up, your shots don't pass through walls. Charge shots do, and I do believe they do a bit more damage.

But yeah, when it comes to fighting bosses, both types of charge shots make the robot masters fall off their feet.

Both types of charge do equal damage, but only full-charges go through walls.

That's kinda dumb. I'll just spam mid-charges all day.

I know, at first I thought it was stupid but the game is so good that I didn't care.

I was deeply invested in this game, I knew every nook and cranny and secret and trick, etc, as evidenced by my stages.

Like, I don't remember it anymore, but I used to know everything about MegaMan's jumping physics and how many blocks I could place each gap and where, and which things certain characters could do that others couldn't, every little thing.

Fun fact: did you know that fire blocks float underwater in Construction Mode?

Yeah, I know those sorts of things as well. I use Fire Blocks in one of my first ice stages when fooling around. I still do. Mega Man can make 3-block wide and 3-block high gaps, 4-block wide and 1-block high gaps, and I forgot how many he can reach from a platform below him. He can jump across a 5-block gap on a max speed conveyor belt.

That is of course, assuming his jumps aren't offscreen. There's a bunch of tricks I've done. I made a stage called "Carnival Castle", where I actually made a block fall inside another block just to unlock a passage.
