I just realized that some of you probably would refer to me as a vet. That makes me feel awkward.

I'm trying to remember when I joined. I'm thinking 2003? That would have been 8th grade, and I know I went here before I got sent to military school in 2004 because I was happy to find out that it wasn't one of the many blocked websites once I got there.

It could have been as early as 2002, no later than 2003. That's at least six years regardless.

Six years of coming here. Goddamn.

I came here from DASH!, and I can't remember how I ended up there, but Delta, Liz, Rez and Fuu suggested I come here.

Seems like forever ago.

I showed up a while ago, looking for the internet to quench my thirst for anything MegaMan.  It was a pretty fun time when I got here, I was here just for MChat cause to my 11 year old self, it was the #####.  I wanted to be Xero's bodyguard. This site has definitely done a ton of good for me.  I can now spell and not look liek i hav a lernin disbilitty.  Even my name came from here.  While formerly known as "X," I was encountered by someone on MChat with the same name.  To end confusion, I added the first letter of my real name to the X, and "XJ" was born.

And now I have returned. After another year of school, I make my unexpected return.  So prepare for trouble, teh Ex Jay is back!

You know, thinking about it, I don't know that very many people who are here now where here when I joined.

Of course, many of you have gone through various name changes, and I'm bad with name by nature. It's completely possible that some of you where here then under a different pseudonym.

Rez, White Shadow, Xero, Speed Racer,  Chron and (obviously) Abe are the names I recall. I also believe I recall you ASR, under a different name, though I'm not sure if you were here before me or not.

I was always ASR, never had a different name anywhere on the internet (unless you count Ayesar, my phonetic alternative.) I'm pretty sure I was here after you.

Now that XJ mentioned MChat, I remember that's exactly why I came here. I saw a link to it or something and joined because of it, back when there were a TON of random people using it. So, whenever MChat was launched, that's when I joined. I'm sure Abe could answer that question.

I was looking for a chat based on MegaMan... I found my heaven with MChat.

I didn't join the boards until after the first(?) time MMM changed boards.

Edit: Also, I remember that I wanted to be a vet, that I wanted people to know me and that I wanted to be important.

Don't care about that so much anymore... Now that I've been here long enough, being a vet doesn't really matter anymore. It shouldn't have mattered in the first place, too.

MChat was the reason I knew about this place when I joined up last year. I remember the summer of '03 when I was staying at my uncle's house, and I found a website based off of Megaman whilst searching the internet. I looked through the site a bit, and found MChat.

Don't really remember much from then, though, other than talking to Xero, some dude who went by the user name of BLUES.EXE, and DJ Sonic (Whatever happened to him/her?). Well, that, and getting yelled at by Abe for wanting to get into the tree (Club Mega wasn't open yet).

I mean I don't think it was you but it was someone who also went to military school. I've been trying to remember who that one was for a while.

The only reason I find it funny is because in a sense it answers it's own question.
