Apparently MegaMan Powered Up, or more appropriately RockMan RockMan since this is in Japan, is making a huge comeback. How huge? Well the sales suddenly bursted in the last month or so, and now it's near the top as one of the most selling games at E-Capcom. It's even selling more than Devil May Cry 4!.. Dunno how this happened really, DMC4 is like the biggest Capcom game coming out this year, and it already out sold it.

This might mean MMPU might get another chance at a sequel..

Da story

I hope this makes MMPU2 comes out. My favourite MegaMan game.

Just hope they don't butcher some stuff. :(

I already swore off PSP... bad news for me, but in the form of good news.

I really don't want to have to play it again.

I have 2 reasons why I won't buy this game.

1. Its for the PSP.
2. Megaman's Head to way to big.

Why does Capcom Insist on making the original Megaman look so crappy? Ever since MM8 everything has gone downhill.

Megaman 8 was a good game, but I meant graphically.

MMPU was a good game. Who cares about the graphics anyway?

Besides, I love chibi MegaMan. <.< Would you rather have a midget MegaMan? They have to make it feel like the original game.

If they do make a sequel this will give me reason enough to get a PSP, I barely played MHX and MPU, so I'd like to play them.. as well as an MPU2

I can't wait to play as the MM2 robot masters!  I'm looking forward to Metalman and Quickman in particular.  ...For no particular reason, now that I think about it.

MMPU wasn't bad, but I thought the NES games actually had a LOT tighter gameplay.  And I didn't like the style for the stages, a big floating BG with the foreground missing a "back wall" that you could see it.

But I'd still buy MMPU2.  As long as they FIX the robot master modes so the game is balanced when you play with them.  Some of the RMs in MMPU are hard as ##### soly because stage design/boss encounters are not adjusted to take into account how them move/attack.

Yeah, the story really stunk, especially if you wanted to count all the RM's as canon.

Which you shouldn't, really. I really just want a good construction mode. I was dissappointed that I couldn't change water level, use the Magnet Beam, and a few other things.

EDIT: Also, the fact that you were stunk in the "New Style mode" screen size. Old style offers more room in one screen.

Construction mode issues to fix:

1) Add more than 1 boss.
2) Add Fortress Bosses to what you can select from
3) Let you pick and choose stage enemies - do away with "packs".  You NEVER get just the right combo of stage enemies.
4) Let you use teleport pods
5) Let you designate "death pits" at the bottom of a screen even if there is an active area right below that screen.
6) Let you choose the grid size and shape, so long as there are the same number of total screens, what does it matter?  This way you could have a stage that's 100 screens wide by 1 tall if you so choose.
7) Let you pick your stage traps like enemies.  Packs do not work.
8) Let you choose your stage theme seperate from the look - or better yet, add your own music.

One thing I really didn't like is that in this version of Mega Man that he's only 1/3 the height of the screen.  The old school games he was fairly small to the size of the screen so there was lots of room both horizntal and verticle.  The lack of verticle depth really hurts the game play.

I don't know what you mean by #1, but I definitely agree with everything else. I could make some really neat stages if I wasn't restricted.

You can only select one boss for your stage.  What if you want to do a Guantlet?  Or just add a "mid boss" to your stage?  You can't.

Most of those were things I really wanted too, especially the multiple boss thing.

They should also let you be able to customize the boss room and be able to place the boss door on ceilings or floors, not just walls.

Haha, yes. You read my mind, sir. All in all, I love the original Construction Mode to death as it gave me hours upon hours of gametime.

They should also let you be able to customize the boss room
We already figured that out via glitches, hehe.

Neither could I.  For some reason, the stages I made were always one tile higher than it said in construction, or certain tiles wouldn't be there once I saved.

In MMPU's Construction mode, when you make the boss room, it's only a box, nothing inside, and you can't edit it without this glitch.

As you can see there's spikes, electric boxes and extra floor panels in places where they shouldn't be.

By default, every boss room is just an empty walled-in room with a 1-tile-wide wall bordering all sides. You're not allowed to edit it.

This glitch allowed you and the chosen boss to fall into the room below the default boss room, which you could edit to your liking. It didn't even have to be one grid-space... it could be the entire stage, several rooms long and tall, but then you risk losing the boss.

Note how you don't see the boss door anywhere in that screenshot, since both characters fell into this custom room from above.
