The anatomy looks good, I like it.

Though the pencil smudging is kinda messy.

Yeah, the drawing is ace but manga-style and pencil smudging just don't mix.

Good.

What is it, anyway?

The best anatomy practice is live models though.

Unlike you, Mike, I don't have people willing to take their clothes off for me at a moment's notice.

The title is:
Anatomy for the artist
the dynamics of the human form

Drawn by Tom Flint and consulted by Peter Stanyer

Yes. That's nice. I own many anatomy books too.

I don't know why you decided to bother to try and insult me, as that seems completely out of nowhere. I was only saying that the best way to get good at anatomy is to go to life drawing sessions and draw nude models. But sor-ry for trying to help.

I can see how a negative tone got across.

That or Mike is so cool that nudity is an insult. That's why ninjas wear so much clothing.

:(

Seriously though, I meant no insult, I'm just insanely picky about where I get what references I do use, and I'm not too fond of people...

It's really nice to have a book that isn't an outdated 'The anatomy Coloring book'.
It's a book for identification with vague representations for medical reasons rather than dead on observations and drawings.

Looking through the story that I was plotting and doing, I realized that Doam, the way it was, Was far from acceptable. I didn't enjoy it like I first did, and I was always so focused on getting to do new material on the next chapter that I'd rush and take shortcuts with the previous chapter. Not that it ever got past three chapters.

Though I hate having to start over, It is something I have to do to feel like this is REALLY my best. My mindset when I was starting it the last few times was for internet popularity, even though I understood I wouldn't be as popular as household names such as C.A.D,  V.G.CATS, or the popular groupings. Though my original mindset was indeed to tell a story, as time has passed I realized that I lost that story, the emotions that I wanted to invoke, Everything. I was tired and bored of everything I produced, The quality of every peice of art that I produced were self absorbed and rushed.

I am redoing it all, taking my time, and doing it RIGHT!

So now I'm writing everything down. Getting my beginning, middle, and end down. Setting up everything before I set my drawing utensils down. With the exception of the new character designs!

Here I present the mecha that will be appearing in the beginning and be a plot pusher for the introductions. The robot and the space-ship forms, and Sorry wind, No pointy black shades.

I actually like the more plain aspects of it, And the ship looks like a scrapheap, Seeing as it's a small part of the story, This will do juuuuuust fine.

Posted on: 30 August 2008, 21:12:06

So that idea didn't work as well as first planned, the whole mecha thing wrote me into a corner.

While working on more ideas, I started doodling some of the familiar characters that I plan to use.

I give you Alex, Kya, and Atrium.

Good stuff Wing-O, Alex is probably my favorite, I can really see a refined style here, that anatomy things working for ya. The second girls breasts seem to be odd, they're un-even in shape.

You dropped the Mecha? Bitch please, you don't drop Mecha, the Mecha drops you, chump.

I'm quite fond of the settling image for that character. It was hard to find an look that would fit her, but this one stuck.

<.< yeah. I noticed that while drawing it. I didn't really expect it to go farther than for personal reference on most of the key points, However Alex had more than a few issues to deal with. we are working on a more mailable character attitude. Along with an the attire to fit it. see attached image. the outfit works for us, but we are still debating character attitude/party dynamics.

Shaddup. I didn't want a mecha based story. As soon as you put ONE in the first few chapters EVERYBODY has to have one, or they cry and bitch and moan. That was definitely something I didn't want to hear from my characters. So I had to make it fair. I might have a mecha or two at the end, we'll see.

Also below is our new logo. Now that in-comic nudity is less of a gimmick and more of a "if it happens" thing, I decided we'd be better off with a new look. (Also my avatar~)

I read a fair bit, then skipped to the end.

A few of the stories were really good, in my opinion. I'd have to re-read them to update my opinion, but I'm pretty sure of that.

This will sound a lot more confrontational than I intend it to and I'm sorry for that, but it's obvious to a spastic jellyfish that it's a parody of Animorphs after reading the title alone.

Anyway I never read it or Animorphs and the Animorphs TV show was barely watchable.

I read REAL high class literature like Goosebumps.

The choose your own one with the mutated gorilla creeped me and I never finished it.

My favourite is still the sponge with teeth under the sink. I heard there was a sequel but by that time I'd grown out of reading them, but still watched the show from time to time.
