I'm guessing a few of you have the game by now, and have been kicking bum and taking names for some time now. What are your thoughts about the new Street Fighter?

It looks like Capcom will be announcing some news about Street Fighter IV soon. Probably an updated game (Super Street Fighter IV, coming to a store near you?) or perhaps DLC in the way of new fighters (T. Hawk was seen recently).

Yea, I know. I'm writing for a dutch gaming website now, so I can show you a few pics! They indeed show T. Hawk and Juli. I'm guessing she's one of Bison's (brainwashed) ex girlfriends who had a makeover. She seems to have psycho power now, so that's awesome. Don't know about the look though..

To be honest, I'd think he is a good addition to the cast with his type of moves. Seems to be a pretty fast and versatile dude. I think he'll show up, but we'll know this tomorrow. Capcom will be making an official announcement regarding this then, so we just have to wait a little longer. T. Hawk is looking pretty huge though!

I don't think it's all Alpha characters: They've talked about a few from Street Fighter III, so it could be anything, really.

Dudley would be a cool addition. Cross-countering Akuma's raging demon would be awesome.

Those MM SF sprites are surprisingly well done. I really like Blanka and Zangief. Ryu, Balrog, and Dhalsim (or whatever) are really nice, but those couldn't have been hard. Akuma is kind of funny, considering. Guile's hair is hilarious.

For the girls Cami and Chunnels look good but Sakura is looking pretty brick house (in the wrong way). Then again, she does in SFIV anyway so I guess it's right.

Super Street Fighter IV has now been confirmed. It'll come out next year on a retail disc (not priced at $60, though). Due to the numerous changes between SF4 and SSF4, the two games will not be compatible with each other online.

Plus, Dee-Jay has now been confirmed.

Old characters getting new ultras, eight new characters, levels, own soundtrack, stuff like that. So they are going for a full disc release, but not full priced.

Hey, that's what the man said. Doesn't really sound fair/impossible. The thing that bugs me really is that SFIV and the Super edition are not compatible. That I'd have to pay money, sure. but it's a shame it's not compatible.

I do not play SF4, but I can say THANK GOD this is being released on a full physical disc.

Would you REALLY want a 1/4 of your game as DLC?  DLC is the cancer that WILL kill the hobby.  When I buy a game I #####ing better well get ALL of the game.  If you want to add new characters, maps, etc etc WHATEVER put it in the sequel.  I can put in any of my old games on any platform and play them in their ENTIRETY.  15 years from now think you'll get to play all your games with that now lost DLC?  No.  You won't.   And that's why DLC is complete bull#####.  Mind you, as watered down as the hobby has become I sincerely doubt ANYONE making games today even gives a thought to the lives of these games past 3 or 4 years tops.  Which is just another reason we get so much mediocre garbage.

I might just buy the damn game to SUPPORT putting this stuff on disc and I don't even HAVE a PS3.

Because the Fallout 3 "downloadable content" is 20 bytes of registration data that unlocks ##### THEY ALREADY PUT IN THE DISC, or at least the first round of it was.

And of course I could also be wrong and be thinking of the wrong game, cause I don't own it or any Bethesda game since the mid-90s

I sincerely doubt that since first of all the downloaded stuff takes up over 20 bytes of space on your hard drive and second of all since there's seemingly new content for Fallout 3 every 2 weeks.
