No black blood, soul, or make-up, but I do write poetry. And oddly enough, I write poems about happy things.

Penguins also make me happy ^.^

What's wrong with the night? ???

(You guys are taking  this way too serious. The only reason I posted that first line was to get a reaction. All the rest was true, though)

I love the night. But that coupled with the first part of your post made it worse.

I could tell you weren't serious at the start anyway, but I do dislike people who DO seriously speak like that.

Sorry, I'm kind of new to this whole "forum" thing. About two weeks ago today was the first time I've ever had internet.

...And on that note, having internet makes me happy.

PUMP HIM FULL, PEOPLE. See my attachment for how to instructions.

What makes me happy?
Warm waffles, real maple syrup and a slice of ham fried to perfection.
Watching people make fools of themselves (an excellent pastime).
Learning something new.
Certain things make me very happy.

'cept Metroid Prime 2.

Prime 2 is the only Prime game I didn't play, and from what I hear I'm not missing out. 1 and 3 were enjoyable in their own right, but they weren't the Super Metroid I fell in love with as a kid.

I didn't know there was an NES Metroid 'till Prime came out, though. Or a Game Boy one, for that matter.

The bad Metroid game is Fusion.

I liked Fusion.

It was pretty linear, I give it that, but I actually enjoyed the text segments, especially when Samus was putting her thoughts together.

You don't play Metroid for text.
You play it to explore and break the game out of sequence so badly the original designers don't even recognize it.

You can't do that in Fusion, so meh.

I didn't like it because of the text, I liked it because it was difference.

The Metroid Prime games have plenty of exploring and sequence breaking, mind you.

Sorry for the rudeness, but COME ON.

There's ONE in Prime, and it's just an early Space Jump that's barely useful.

There's tons in Prime 1. I should know, I did them myself.

Skipping the mini boss where you get the missile for the first time is one of them. I can't exactly remember the others, but I know there are more of them.

I like it.

But it's not a METROID game.
Totally different feel to it.

Exactly. It IS a good game, but it wasn't Metroid. I was never expecting it to be, though, so I had the added benefit of not being disappointed.

Rez would argue you to the ground on why it sucks period...

Personally, I think it's a good transition from 2D to 3D for Metroid.

ZSS makes me very happy too, btw. <_<

Mmm... not really. I can see why people wouldn't like it as a Metroid game, but they were good FPS games.

But then again, you only played the second one, which is not arguably the worst of the three.

Depends on which Metroid.

I was gonna say that.

I'll play any 2D Metroid game. Prime blew, so I don't want any involvement with the sequels.

Metal Gear Solid has a love/hate relationship, but if you can stand it, you'll love it from my understanding. I'm trying to get my brother to love it long enough to stick with it.
