Megaman ZX 3 a definite *warning possible spoilers*

In Megaman 8, there's not really a cliffhanger.
Things just sort of end happily, although it's not really clear where Wily is.

*eyes glaze over*
Then Megaman X starts up for no real reason, and ends with X4, so no, not really much of a cliffhanger either.

Anyway, I haven't even played Advent, and probably won't, so unless ZX3 has something to do with Legends, count me out again.

MMZ had "something to do with Legends", and we ignored it.  ZX had "something to do with Legends".  We ignored it.  Now when we DO get Legends 3 (and we will, if only to piss us off because) it will be bogged down with and chock full of MMZ and ZX refrences until it makes X7 look like Mega Man 2.

THAT is the only future Legends has.  And it is a sad one.

Yeah but we're not even talking about him in this case. During MMZ the real Zero is like... Frozen in carbonite. On the moon. Inside a dragon's stomach. With Cyndi Lauper. Awaiting the day when the seven crystal babies are found and devoured by Dash Dingo, freeing them from their hellish fiery lunar frozen prison.

I thought Inafune beat him unconscious with spite and locked him in the closet when he debuted Mega Man Zero.  Now poor Zero is forced to live off the tears of fans that Inafune brings him while he gloats about the new even smaller thong "Zero" will have in MMZ5.

That did happen but when Zero heard about plans for ZX he raged and broke out. He was subdued but seeing as they could no longer keep him in any kind of holding cell they had to freeze him. But it spit curses at them all the time from inside the carbonite so they rocketed him into space. Where a dragon swallowed him whole.
