I found this in my webcomic searches.

Though you may not find it funny, or thought provoking.

I think it is interesting.

They're both lame. The South Park one isn't nearly as cool as the one they showed in an actual episode.

Only the one in the South Park episode is good. The other ones I've seen before and I always thought they were stupid.

I have a bunch of 4Chan images.

But, y'know, we're supposed to avoid memes.

It's not funny because it's a fad, though. It's funny because it's a funny image at the end. There's a difference to someone showing a non-funny incredibly 4chanly lameass picture of a pokemon with a stupid crap-garbled-grammar caption underneath and someone showing something that happens to be legitimately funny, pokemon related or not.

And Abe is right, the word "meme" on the internet is completely retarded, and using it is one of those stupid fads on it's own.

Same. Doesn't help that I barely ever read any Calvin and Hobbes comics so I didn't recognize the art style or what I can only assume is are classic C&H poses and setting.

Calvin & Hobbes is genius in its own right. As a kid, I would save up to buy the strip collection books and I'd read through them all over and over again.

And now that I'm older, whenever I re-read them, I notice things I didn't catch or understand the first time because they really are intelligent comics.

This is the elephant shrew, or jumping shrew, from Africa.

Needless to say, I want one.

"Elephant shrews vary in size from about 100 mm to almost 300 mm, from just under 50 g to over 500 g. All are quadrupedal with mouse-like tails, and rather long legs for their size, and although the size of the trunk varies from one species to another, all are able to twist it about in search of food."

"Although mostly diurnal and very active, they are difficult to trap and very seldom seen: elephant shrews are wary, well camouflaged, and adept at dashing away from threats. Several species make a series of cleared pathways through the undergrowth and spend their day patrolling them for insect life: if disturbed, the pathway provides an obstacle-free escape route."

I'd seen them before but I didn't know they were that smart. Wicked. On a side note I love how we don't even know all the different kinds of animals on the planet yet pretend like there's nothing left to discover here. Anyway...

Here's an excerpt from the greatest sports manga ever, Eyeshield 21. It's also the greatest sports anime, in my opinion. It's over 18000 bytes though, so just view it here: It's Funny.

It was hard to tell since the translators forgot to change numbers from singular to plural.

But...
... soft doesn't make sense in context to what I THOUGHT they were talking about at first.
