The "How Was Your Day?" Thread

Today sucks. My math class sucks. I've got english homework due tommorow. I've gotta clean my room and move in the TV today.

Also, there are two asian twins in the Business Professionals of America club that I participate in. Last night, one of them committed suicide. I barely knew either of them, but I just felt speechless during my 2nd block when I heard it. The other twin wasn't at school for... assumable reasons. She was the one to find the body.

A bunch of things are zooming through my mind right now. My english teacher said she almost broke down and cried when taking attendance. She asked herself "Do I mark her absent? Do I mark that she's no longer enrolled?".

EDIT: Forgot to mention a key fact. They were identical twins. I can understand losing a brother or a sister, but not this...

Yeouch.. that's gotta majorly suck.. Your schools pretty whack CV, first that sex offender and now this jazz? The worst we get is someone gets food poisoning and is sent home...

Anyways, today was a day off and... I'm sick, it started as an allergy and then grew to my nose being a waterfall. Now I have headaches and a sore throat..

Wow. I'm just coughing nonstop. Sometimes randomly, others it feels like I'm about to cough up blood.

I've had stomach flu since Monday; Not much energy to come online.

Yeah, today felt like emptiness with the aroma of death. A girl ran out of the room and cried, and I didn't know what to do. I wanted to comfort her physically, but I'd been frequently coughing on my hands so I avoided that. All I could manage to do was ask a stupid question: "Are you gonna be alright?"

My friend had to go to his grandfather's funeral as well today. He wasn't too happy about it. He wasn't really sad, he just had the same idea about funerals as I do... they're dull.

Like I said, tons of stuff go through my mind about the twins. Why did she do it? How did she do it? Did she realize she'd cause this much suffering? I mean, if you're down in the dumps, this is a good example on how selfish it is to kill yourself. I don't know either of them except for the fact that they're members of the club and one was in my English 2 class, but I just want to get into a time machine and atempt to stop it.

I can't imagine at all how her sister is handling it.

I really don't know if I think someone should live a life they are done with, and be dead inside, because other people will have a hard time dealing with their death. There are so many levels to suicide, you can't just shrug it off as selfish like that.

True. I worded it wrong, because I'm not entirely calling her selfish. It'd be wrong for me to do so, because I don't know the whole story.

If the only reason you're living is to make other people happy, you're pretty much... this is an exaggeration, but you're pretty much a whore. There are some things that you must do for yourself.

There are also situations where people have found it altruistic or utilitarian to commit suicide. For example, if you think you're a worthless burden on society, killing your lazy-ass self is an easy way to amend that.

Like Mikero said, there's too many factors.

I think if you genuinely think there's nothing going for you, no one should be able to stop you. But you should still think about getting help, or at least put your affairs in order first.

That includes saying goodbye properly to family and friends. Not a note. Too much of the trauma afterwards is the "why did they do it."

Anyway.

Things are slow and I am tired. Snowstorm today. Walked outside, screamed "YOU CALL THIS SNOW, YOU BASTAGES?!" The wind picked up.

Boring field trip cancelled! Half my school day off. Hooray!

Will spend long weekend sleeping.

Woke up this morning, went into the shower, came out, and my mom said "It's a snow."

So I was pretty pissed that I woke myself up, but it wasn't too hard to get back to sleep.

It's from being sick and lazing around all damn week (my hair is too long right now and that means it's ever curling and that's painful, I can't really explain)... Still, I'll check later if I can get up.

Went to school. Hated my first block. Second Block was better. Third block was a waste of time. Fourth block was... a combination of my 2nd and 3rd. Went home. Went to work. Worked my butt off. Annoyed the hell out of a co-worker (for smiling, mostly, which is what you're SUPPOSED to do). Came home. Took some medicine for my throat (Mucus. Coughing.) Took some Airborne "Gummies". Hard as #####. Disgusting. Posted this.

EDIT: Swallowed it. Still morbidly disgusting.

I'd drink more if I had the time. It would probably help me be less stressed out too, since I don't have time for like anything (I can't eat/drink anything for breakfast even). I might get into some hooch this weekend though, 'cause a couple birthdays have happened.

But drinking is not for everybody and I don't advise for/against it.

Well, today I had to dig my mom's car out of the snow because we got over three feet during the past two weeks and just -now- my mom really wanted to go somewhere.... v.v My arms really hurt which is strange because I'm an endurance runner and I thought I was in good shape.

I also confirmed with my dad on where he was going to pick me up once I get to Japan on the 15th (ish) v.v... I dunno why but now I'm starting to not want to go back to Japan.
