That's the second time you've made a post like that. You need to understand that in Michigan, 3 inches is like... a rarity. I'm used to snow up to my knees, anywhere from 7-10 inches. I still needed to point out that there was snow, though. Actually, in Michigan, there could be 3 inches one day, 10 inches the next, and then absolutely no snow the day after that, and then 2 feet the next day right after. Oh, and the past weekend, a bunch of us randomly decided to go the movies, but nobody checked the times or anything so the only things playing were "Definitely, Maybe" and "The Bank Job." We saw "The Bank Job", it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The reason I'm talking about movies is because someone JUST brought to my attention a new Simon Pegg movie coming out later this month. "Run Fat Boy Run," it's called. Nobody tells me ANYTHING, I have no clue how I never heard about this. From what I've seen, though, it's not by the same "team" as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, but I'm cool with that. Still looks funny.

That snow looks light and easy to shovel. Was it?
No, it wasn't light at all. Only 51cm (around two feet) of that snow was anything close to fresh, since it fell in like a night. But that was the morning and night after it fell, I didn't shovel anything until a few days later and that wasn't light in the first place. Had it not been the day Brawl came out I'd have been outside shovelling and scraping for hours with all the neighbours. Run Fat Boy Run is not particularly good.
Didn't think so. Different team in charge, no? I'll still probably check it out. Kill me. Kill me quickly.
...?
I was ashamed at myself for confusing North America with USA and thus coming off as an ignorant moron.
Thought so but didn't want to assume. Kill me. Kill me quickly.
...?
Anyway this was the snow on Sunday. My car and outside my place. Some guy in my city piled the snow from his driveway into a 20 foot wall. And then he put on a homebrew robot costume and shoveled more. No I don't know where in Ottawa and I don't know him, I saw it on MTV.
That looks awesome, how about we swap snow for sand for one day? The last time I played in real snow was when I was 5 or 6 in Turkey. (I played in some artificial snow parks in Malaysia and Dubai, though)
If you shovel and scrape it and junk, sure. Though, I can't imagine how annoying sand can get when it's not confined. Like people that live during the dust bowl and out in the American southwest. I have enough of it when I hit the beach.

Yeah, Run Fat Boy Run is just a movie starring Simon Pegg, not a Simon Pegg movie as I'd call the others. Not stopping me from going to see it, as I already said.
Today I went and visited the Western Michigan University campus. Looks like I'll be going there. I'm pretty excited, too, because I liked a lot of what I saw. The food is supposedly really great there, and the dorm I'm picking is built into the side of the best cafeteria, so good news there. It's really cozy. It's not small at all but it isn't enormous, and I really like the campus.
Still have no clue what I'll be studying, though.

So here is how my life was for the pst few days:
Yesterday I woke up with a lot of pain in my left ear. In fact, it was the reason I woke up, at 6:30 AM too. The pain eventually went away, after four hours I assume. After those four hours my ear felt like there was something blocking it, and a there was a constant LOUD ringing noise in it too. As I'm typing this it still feels that way.
Today I woke up coughing like mad. I mean, I coughed a bit for the entire week but today I was dying. I couldn't stop coughing and I woke up my dad a few times as I slept last night. I also developed a fever and felt like throwing up. Thank God for inventing Asprin. After the stuff took the pain away, I went to go see 10,000 BC. The movie was supposed to start at 7:05 but I was waiting for a long time in the theater before the movie started. I saw Jim Carrey's name pop up and I said to myself, "WTF?"
I ended up going into the wrong theater and I missed the beginning of my movie. A little pissed off but the movie delievered, and I intend to watch it again so I can see the beginning.
Right now I'm about to go lay down and play Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles for the DS. I just bought it ten minutes ago. Heard good things about it, hope it's worth the purchase. I still won't be home until tomorrow night but I really want to play Brawl again. XD

Drumline competition today. Another 1st Place trophy!
We chilled at the high school hosting the competition for the whole day and explored the town. We drove over to a ski mountain. It was open and a few people were skiing. We parked at the McDonalds at the other side of the place, and we set off to climb it. It was like 10:00PM and really dark, but they had those super-bright stadium-type lights on illuminating the other side of the mountain. Now, there's really no snow out, so the whole mountain is like fake snow, but the side we were climbing was completely devoid of snow. It was around a 75 degree angle we were climbing, we made it to the top after 40 minutes and almost scared the ##### out of some guys near the top of the chairlift.
It was a magnificent sight, standing at the top of the mountain, on level with a water tower not too far away, late night with those bright stadium-lights behind us.
Beautiful.

I can normally see why people wouldn't like something, but Scrubs just seems like the sort of thing everybody should love... thus, I'm always baffled. Name anything else, I can understand, but Scrubs... it just takes more thought to understand why someone doesn't like it, but I guess there's reasons.
Anyway...
I went to Gamestop today. They have a used DVD sale going: buy 2 get 4 free. I made the mistake of telling my friends about it, so after drumline practice we all made a mad dash, each in our own cars, driving to the Gamestop down the road. You see, the amount of actually-GOOD movies were slim, so it was first-come-first-serve.
I walked out with Zoolander, The Incredibles, Baseketball, Rat Race, King Kong, and American Pie 2. I'm happy with that.
