You're like, a genuine Facebook stalker.
So... yeah. Winter drumline state finals were today, and we placed second in our class.
It was probably our best performance of the whole season, so we were totally psyched and thought we were walking away with first.
I mean, sure, you guys are probably thinking "But second is okay, right?"
Yeah, it is, sure... but it just sucks. We've placed 1st in every show all season except for one, and we were doing so great. We have a harder show than the group who won, but they played cleaner with their easier show and thus beat us out.
Sucks, sucks, sucks. We're all wearing SILVER medals when they should be gold. To quote myself on the drive home: "Let's make a quick stop at Lowe's for some gold paint to fix these medals up."

I wish OUR school computers weren't run by Nazis. You can't do ANYTHING. Somebody tried to do a non-biased report on gays, and how they have impacted society, freakin' computer guy who sets all the filters blocked every site that has the word gay more than twice. It's like that with everything. You can't look up quotes from famous books if they got a few swears in them. I hate that guy. Posted on: April 11, 2008, 06:34:56 PM
Anybody ever have a day where everything is way harder than it should be? After giving blood yesterday, I feel drained today (lulz), and I can't seem to do anything. Track practice killed me, I could barely climb some stairs afterwards, and I just failed at everything Guitar Hero related for the night. I got worse at everything today.

I started a fad at my school where everyone has brung those Razor scooters of their past childhood fads to the school and proceeds to ride them around during after-school hours and activities. I simply brought one in one day early this year and people slowly started following suit. It's been going on all year, to the point where... well... For example: today, I had a project due. I have to perform a speech where I try to sell a product to the audience. I needed a visual aid and a speech and an outline and everything, but I had completely forgotten. The scooter fad has gotten to the point where I literally went through the school and asked people to borrow their scooters until I had one of each color. I already had a blue one, but I managed to get a red, black, and green one from others, and there were still more I could've taken. I brought all four scooters as my visual aid. I quickly wrote my speech on notecards during the other presentations, and told the kid sitting behind me to do certain things during the speech. Almost 70% of the presentation is improv. I had a kid film it because I knew it would be funny. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DpBp6efYeLwAs soon as it ended, the teacher basically guaranteed me a 100% but then blasted me for making gay jokes. My bad.

Well #####. I'm in a pickle.
I just checked my Speech class syllabus. I have to do my "Favorite ___" speech tommorow. I'm freaking out because I'm not exactly 100% prepared. I don't know if my teacher wants an outline, powerpoint, etc.. But, with the circumstances, tommorow is a modified early release day, meaning I get out of school earlier and all the classes have been shortened.
Sure I can do it at school, but again, the classes are now even shorter so I may not have enough time to complete it. Although that may be a bad thing, it can also be a good one since my Speech class will also be shorter. I have two choices:
1.) Bust my butt and complete the speech as fast as I can after asking a classmate what specifically is required.
2.) Sit through Speech class with the hope of not getting called and dodge a bullet.
If I only knew exactly what to do, It would've already been done. Nonetheless, if I manage to do the speech, I'm doing my speech on my favorite video game character.
That's right. Like ASR, I'm going to talk about Mega Man.
(If only it was an impromptu speech)
