On second inspection, the only notable thing about your 'super awesome mega box' is the Dreamcast in the back there.

So, A friend let me borrow his USB mic for Rock Band which I am now using with my Wii, but he also let me borrow a Wii Remote.

I've been going through the vocals pretty well, but then I decided to try vocals and guitar at the same time.

I hate the way the vocals work in this game. They're sooooo much better in Rock Band.

Woke up today.

Did nothing all day.

After a busy week, it was heaven.

Played a lot of Banjo-Kazooie.

Just finished watching Requiem for a Dream with some friends who'd never seen it before. My god, every time I watch that movie, it's just as powerful as before.

Gonna' watch Jeff Dunham's new special later. The Christmas one.

Believe me, I know, I know. And it hurt to write that. BUT. BUT. It was the only way that would work. I had "Baba O'Riley (Teenage Wasteland)" written, but it wasn't funny. Comedy overrides everything.

Wouldn't work better in the music thread?

It's more about your life than it's about music so I put right thurr.

It's interesting how it tends to work out, like everything in mine is actually correct and I could potentially explain it. When I started doing it, I didn't even think it would work out. The harder part is keeping your answers just being the title of the song and not it's meaning.

So awesome that Rage has the song "Down Rodeo", which is about L.A. (Rodeo Drive, not about rodeos with clowns and cowpeople and #####) which is exactly where I want to be right now.

There were four "The" bands that got me into classic rock as a kid, and that I highly revere. And you shan't underestimate my love for them.

They are The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and The Who.

And they are all The Best.

You need "The Metal" in there.

I'm not in a "current relationship" but I considered something close to one, that basically recently ended, for it.

I'm condemning myself from the internet.

Its an addiction that's been bothering me for years now, and today I've finally decided to try to take a break from the Internet. A week break. So for a week, I will not use the Internet for personal use.

I think the term "social" use would work better, but basically, after this post, I will not post on these or any other forum on the Internet. I will not read anything on the Internet including message boards, Wikipedia, and personal e-mails. I will not view YouTube videos or any other kind of video from streaming websites. I will not play Flash games or any online games (like WoW). I'm even going as far as not to view pr0nz on the internet.

Basically, I'm stopping all social contact for myself because I find that I'm wasting far too much time with it. I keep telling myself "I have no time to do this and this" and I tell myself that as I browse these forums, reading the same thing over and over again hoping someone will make a new post or topic. I waste many hours a day doing this. My school work is taking a toll and I don't even know if I should consider myself a gamer anymore because I'd rather browse the Internet than play video games.

I will, however, only use the Internet for school use. My History of Video Games class actually sites Wikipedia for its info and my teacher encourages me to go there for information, so there's a situation where I have to use Wikipedia for something important.

I'm also going to continue uploading my Let's Play Zelda 64 videos onto YouTube. I've not been doing that lately because of the Internet too. I'll be updating my blog (link below) to talk about how I'm doing at the end of the day, but that's as far as I'm going when it comes to social interaction on the Internet.

I'm going to try my very best not to fail. I have a feeling that I may actually go through a withdrawl of some sort. I know today won't be too bad but I know for sure that it will get way worse as the week goes on. If anyone is interested in how crazy I get, my blog link is here:

http://tloayvgd.blogspot.com/

Yeah, great title. I was planning on updating that a lot but the internet has gotten in the way of that too.

So anyways, I'll see you guys next week (hopefully not sooner). If this goes well, I plan to do this every month.

Anyways, next week. Tah-tah!

So, today I woke up and took a much-needed one-hour-power-shower.

Ultimate relaxation. The water was hot for the entire time. I had never felt so refreshed.

Then I go down to the cafeteria for breakfast.

I see a little note on the soda machines saying "There is no pop today because of a problem with the Kalamazoo water supply."

I don't think much of it, since I was just getting cereal.

I look up at the TV's they have in there, and there was just a message on the screen that said "SEVERE WEATHER WARNING."

Then, on my way back to my room, I see a sign posted on the door to the stairwell. It says "DO NOT DRINK THE DORM WATER. THERE IS A CONTAMINATION IN THE KALAMAZOO WATER SUPPLY."

And then in big hand-written underlined letters "DO NOT DRINK WATER!!!!!!"

Not the best day to have soaked myself in the shower for an hour.

You can still bathe in water that's non-potable. Just because it's not consumption-grade doesn't mean it's not bathing-grade.

Just as long as you don't drink your shower water, you should be fine.

Oh, well, I bring a drinking glass with me into every shower.

But really, I usually get a drink of water from the drinking fountain every morning.

I don't really know why I didn't do that today.

I hope I get superpowers.

I've lived in a couple places where you can't drink the water. You can still bathe in it. People bathe in Mexico, for example.

Most of the time, if it's a sudden thing, it's just caution (though, there's also something breaking down at the plant and allowing contaminants in). If you're actually worried about it, ask someone how serious of a threat it really is.

My day:
Shower
Breakfast
Classes from 9:30 'till 3.
Football 3-6
Dinner
Shower
Head to a larger university up the road and see an illusionist 6:45-10:30.

Longest day I've had in a while.
I'm pooped.

Not to mention football practice was frigid. And windy. And I was the only guy without long sleeves.

My eye has been twitching for six days. Sometimes, the little twitch sessions last for about 20 to 30 seconds.

I'm very tired and I'm feeling very stressy...

Morning just started, but I took a 1 hour power shower like ASR today. And maaaaan, did it ever hit the spot, though, I'm pruney as a mother #####er. When I got out, school already started, so I told my dad I was gonna go to second period and then on.

He thought it was a good idea and decided to go into work late..

Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun.

Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.

And so the problem remained; lots of the people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches.

One man, entirely miserable and equally disinterested in digital watches, sat at his desk typing a literary anaylsis regarding a wholly remarkable book (which, by a staggering coincidence, was where the first four paragraphs of this post were ripped from.)

As he typed an increasingly boring literary analysis for an increasingly boring Thoughts and Writing class on an increasingly boring Wednesday morning (which, mind you, had been having a boring day of his own and deserves to sympathized with), he found himself running out of readily available knowledge on the subject, with about two more double-spaced pages to go.

He unwittingly head over to Wikipedia and cautiously scanned the appropriate article. It struck him how almost but not entirely unlike the real Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy this website was.

As he scrolled dow---- WHAT.

WHAT.

......WHAT.

Apparently a sixth Hitchhiker's Guide book is being written. By Eoin Colfer, who wrote the Artemis Fowl books (which I admittedly enjoyed quite thoroughly but does not mean I am letting him off the hook for this blasphemy.)

It is called "And Another Thing..." and scheduled for an October 2009 release... and I am going to have to read it but holy hell am I angry that this is happening.

I don't even know what to think.

Who said this was okay?

I feel for you.

That reminds me, the United Way threw a book sale at my university yesterday. I was walking by and noticed a rather large selection of science fiction and fantasy.

Picked up four novels:

Bearing an Hourglass and With a Tangled Skein by Piers Anthony (I read On a Pale Horse some seven or eight years ago and promised myself I would read the rest of the series sometime... cut to present day)
The Gods Themselves by Isaac Asimov (not sure why I haven't read this yet)
Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams (I haven't read books 2, 3 or 4, but I figure a series like this works similarly enough to the Jerry Cornelius saga for me to read the books in any order I damn well please and none of the others were on sale that I could see)

Total bill: four dollars. No word of a lie.

Read all of Mostly Harmless last night and realized at the end that I really should not have read the books out of order, but whatever.

Haha, yeah, definitely don't read Hitchhiker's Guide out of order. Especially since a lot of Mostly Harmless has to do with the whole Stravomula Beta thing that definitely made no sense to you.

BUT STILL. A SIXTH BOOK. WHAT.

Today, I've discovered what true anger is.

Tokio Hotel. Bill Kaulitz.

Soulja Boy has nothing on this abomination.
