Ha, this is the first time I read any of the other stuff on there.

"YOU MAY SPEAK WHEN LIGHT ON"

I also like how the shiny line makes it look like an optical illusion, like the metal panel is wider there.

ASR, I was pretty shocked that I read it the same way you do. I was skimming though because I was planning to respond to another post.

My limit break is slightly over a week.

After that... Omnislash.

God damnit I thought the exact same thing you did.

So, I called a couple places today, looking for a job, and neither were hiring, so I turned to the internet, and am considering applying at several locations.

Then, unexpectedly, my older Brother dropped by, we (Him, my mom, and me) went to see the Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It was alright.

Thinking about calling my dad, and asking him about that baby sitting job he mentioned. One of my little brother's friends doesn't go back to school until the week after next, and his mom needs someone to look after him while she's at work.

Surprisingly, I am pretty good with kids (who knew?).

I love kids. They seem to love me, too.

I hate airports. They seem to hate me, too.

I don't think anything good has ever happened in an airport.

TWICE, a random person tried walking off with our luggage thinking it was theirs. Once at customs in Aruba, and once again when we finally got to Detroit 12 hours later.

We had to take a connecting flight since there aren't any direct ones from Detroit to Aruba, and it was even worse this time then it was on the way there, because we took the same plane twice and there was literally zero leg-room.

Airports just suck balls.

And then I finally get home to where my phone FINALLY starts working only to check my messages and find out that two of the people I was going to be rooming with next year aren't able to afford it, so it's just down to me and one other person now.

Lame.

Today has been strange.

I had a dream this morning.

It involved several things: Last-minute trips, giant toilets, my grandmother, finding an internet-accessible computer in LAX, LAX being twice its normal size and full of court-type classrooms, A class for "pilots with flaws" called the Outhouse, babysitting a kid in LAX, a pilot hitting on me whilst saying that catsup that spilled on his crotch was blood mixed with pain medicine, and a 100-year-old pilot's age being a fixable flaw.

Tonight we called a "Production Meeting" for everyone involved in Roomhates.

We read through all 5 episodes twice, and this ##### is funny. I'm not bragging or anything, but I'm actually very proud of these scripts. And even if the final videos turn out to be crap, the scripts are still solid and I can be proud of those because they're actually funny.

There's so many scenes that I just can't wait to film. There's an amazingly hilarious scene involving the song "Perfect Day" (of Legally Blonde fame) and all the cold opens are going to be #####ing perfect.

We start filming tomorrow, but we can't finish the first episode until we replace the wooden sword that we thought we had but apparently now do not. Or until I rewrite the script to not call for a wooden sword.

Am I the only person who's truly never been homesick in any way, shape, or form at all?

I just don't understand what the big deal is, though it's not like I don't get that other people DO get homesick.

I just never ever have, and I can't imagine being upset or crying about not being at home. Yet, I've seen tons of people do just that throughout my life through my adventures at summer camps, military schools, and college.

I dunno, I just can't help it. I've never been this homesick before, I usually just shake it off.

I guess it may be because I was away from home for so long that I just forgot how much I loved being at home before going back for the vacation. And now that I'm back in College, I just want some more but I know it's not possible. Maybe that's why I'm crying.

Regardless, I'm better now. Internet took my mind off of home a lot.

Anyway, I've never commented on it yet, but I'm looking forward to your Roomhates show.

I'm college sick right now.
I don't get homesick.
I may wish I could hang out with a friend once in a while, but college is where everything is at for me.
Eh.
I guess it's because I still see my parents occasionally.
as I'm only 100 miles from home.

Today is a lot more hectic than I expected..

At school we got assigned our culminative projects for art and history. For art we're making a set of renaissance playing cards, which should be pretty boss since I have a killer idea for an Ace.. History on the other hand is gonna be less interesting all together, stupid project there etc etc.

After school I went and got my hair did, my friend booked me an appointment for Christmas, turned out great, my hair is the freshest! After that I'm home, now I have a few options:

-Quickly go back to the salon to get some hair goop
-Read The Watchmen (got all the comics today)
-Go to sleep (haven't slept all night)
-Do my homework and study for a test I can't afford to fail

This would be easy to do.. but I sleepy :[

Monday my university cancelled all classes due to excessive snow and being on a big #####ing hill and such, so today was the first day back at school for me, which was nice because Tuesday is my easiest day - merely a two-hour Fundamentals of Music lecture.

What is strange about this Fundamentals of Music class is the fact that I might actually learn something I didn't already know. I was already well aware of my lack of music theory (which is why I didn't simply apply for a course waiver in the first place), but did not think the course would extend very much past what I do know. But in fact I will likely spend the entire last third of the course actually learning.

DUUUUUUUDES.

I just finished editing a rough cut of the first episode of Roomhates since we got all the footage for it today along with a handful of other scenes from other episodes.

The rough edit is different than how it's going to turn out, because we're going to use better editing software and actually make sure everything works perfectly, whereas my rough cut is more of an idea of how things are going to look later.

The good news is that it turned out great and I can't wait to do the real final cut of it.

Went to classes, bought a Bluetooth headset, couldn't find Call of Duty: World at War, hung out with friends, and watched the new Resident Evil movie that Capcom themselves made.

Also messed around with my headset. Seeing as I could hear myself, I tested out different voices to see how close I could get to a voice actor.

The closest person I could get is Roll's from Megaman Legends. So close that is scares me. And it's the only voice I could almost match.

I darn me and my high-pitched voice...

C) What do you mean "all the comics"?

A) Soon.
B) Right.
C) Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this mean there's more than one comic?

I still haven't got my hair goop, so the hairs staying without for now. There's also the problem of me having no camera.

If it was missing for over 48 hours you could have filed a missing homes report.

C) Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this mean there's more than one comic?

Yes it came it in issue form, but that's almost impossible to get now unless you've got the scrill for it. Now you can only really find the collected version, and you're better off with it that way anyhow. Plus I thought you actually owned them, pirate.

I was checking my facebook and I've been looking through albums that my friends were tagged in.

Steve's dog (T-Rex) dress up doll.
The "Stache-Master's" new shirt type thing, a fleece?
and nobody else yet, but I love looking into people's lives.

I hope they don't mind.

So I joined the Stand-Up Comedy Club on campus and went to my first meeting tonight.

It was actually really fun, especially when I had absolutely no idea what to expect. And I've never been a "club person."

Anyway, everyone's really encouraging and it's a nice atmosphere to actually grow as a comic. A lot of them are genuinely funny and talented, too, so that's even better. We talked a lot about plans for the club in the future, the on-campus Stand-Up Competition (Last Bronco Standing) in the Spring, shared joke ideas and premises and gave each other feedback, etc. Topped it off with watching some good ole' Louis C.K.

FILM IT WHEN IT HAPPENS.

There was a forty-five minute lineup just to get into the university bookstore yesterday, and I went at 9:30 AM.

Like, when the store OPENED.

But I did get in and I spent $500 and for that I got enough books for it to FEEL like I spent $500, which surprised me.

I have a 1 Terabyte external hard drive coming in the mail tomorrow, so I'm excited about finally getting some free space on my computer.

Today, we filmed a LOT more of Roomhates. And I do mean a LOT. I mean, like, so much. In fact, We have all the footage for Episodes 1, 2, and 4, save for maybe a few re-shoots or different angles we might go back for. We've also got a little bit of Episode 3.

Everything is actually turning out really well, by the way.
