So apparently the guys who created Neopets are SCIENTOLOGISTS.

I spent so many hours on that site as a kid.

THIS IS BIG NEWS.

This week is the least amount of activity I've had in a while. I've been doing a lot of work and a lot of TV-show watching.

I'm basically powering through How I Met Your Mother (just finished the slap bet episode Mike was talking about) and getting a huge pile of homework done.

But aside from that... it's been an absurdly lazy week.

Today it was dark, gray, and cloudy all day.
I slept late, took a few naps, played some Fable 2, and thought about how I'm the only person in the whole world who likes Ska.

Plenty of people like ska.

It's a musical genre. I don't know a lot about it, but it's like punk with brass instruments. Or something.

Punk isn't a genre that really lends itself to brass instruments, the brass sound is far too beautiful for such a vicious style.

I mainly associate it with punk because of the way it's sung, the music itself is very different.

You know what? It's probably because I've only heard ska punk and had it referred to as ska.

Vista.

The intention had been to kill windows 7 and replace it with xp, but instead of the second partition, partition 1 is the FIRST partition. I also forgot that my laptop has a hidden partition with all the system files.

And now after three-four hours of cumulative work I'm basically back where I started - I have windows xp working OR windows 7 working, but never both at once, and to switch between the two I have to run #####ing system repairs and tweak BIOS settings.

Considering a nuke and pave, assuming I find a place for the 120GB of files that I don't want to lose.

Would love to but have no money. That'd be a solution for once I've been through co-op a couple times, have paid off any debts, etc.

Now that I have my wireless drivers properly configured in XP and can still get at everything I need, the need for a dual-boot is far less pressing (my objective was simply to get this partition working properly).

But my computer is retarded and only has a few real parts, so I have to install ALL OF MY DRIVERS MANUALLY. Oh well.

I've had a fever since Sunday and I guess some kind of weak flu or really bad cold. Today was the worst of it so far, and spend the whole morning in a haze when I wasn't actually doing work. I drank like three bottles of orange juice and had like six pills in four hours.

I'm not well myself at the moment.

I haven't been able to get much sleep because of this strange cough I'm having. It's only present when I'm trying to sleep and trust me its reeeaally bad its like COUGHBARKCOUGHBARKCOUGHBARK. The doctor gave me this codeine based syrup, it didn't work, so I trade 3 times the suggested dosage and it didn't work either. The next day I decided I'd take some of the leftover Tylenol3s that were prescribed for when I had my wisdom teeth removed (Codeine based product as well) AND IT DIDNT WORK EITHER. Everything I'm saying and doing is making less sense.

Also I think I'm resistant to codeine now.

No I've been sick. Very very sick. Maybe if Preventer Ill was around. I mean, that's such a cool name "Preventer Ill" but the ass is never around to help me.

BUCKLEYS MOTHER #####ER DO YOU USE IT?

It hasn't worked for me AT ALL. I have some that's for exactly what I've got and it's been doing nothing where acetaminophen is helping me function. I do trust Buckley's though, it works well for OTHER afflictions.

Today I "woke up" worse than the past days. I put "woke up" in quotes because I didn't really sleep. I timed myself and I would cough hard about two to three times at two second intervals.

One, two, cough cough. One, two, cough cough. One two, cough cough COUGH COUGHhack and that hack would buy me ten seconds free of any coughing.
All. Night. With. This. #####.

Eventually I got up, got my ##### together and went to the bus. The bus was what it was; a bus. Not good not bad. But the driver like hit something downtown so we all had to get off, walk to the next stop, and then wait for another one. Miraculously got to class only a couple minutes late, which doesn't really matter. Had animation class for five hours and then had a meeting with my design prof. Then did the bus thing back and that was actually good.

That was my last class of the week so I'm now home and on my reading weel (spring break). It's just gonna be filled with work but I'm taking tonight off of course. I think I'll play XBox or read or something (that has me too excited).

I was sick last week.. and it was probably the worst sleep I've ever had in my life, I was clinging onto that state where you're asleep but also conscious. After a few hours in that state I woke up and started freaking out about aliens or something.. I turned on my light and locked my door (for fear of aliens?..) and laid down and continued the #####ty sleep.

I got a text last night at 3AM. Was too tired to get up and check it because that requires me getting out of bed, and I'm in a loft.

I woke up an hour later and it was 11PM. And that wasn't a text, it was my alarm. And I have no idea WHY I thought it was 3AM. But I did miss a big test. Fun.

It does sound like pneumonia, aye. But it seems more like a postnasal drip, I'm prone to this kind of thing on the account of I had a terrible whooping cough when I was younger and just recently had bronchitis.

This is going to be with me all my life I think. LOOKS LIKE IMMA HAVE TO GIVE UP TUBA.

That is the very definition of "a bitch".

Stuff I was groggy for through the week is starting to clarify themselves. I remember I saw someone who looked familiar down a hall or something the other day but I couldn't place them and now I'm becoming pretty sure it was the first ever encounter between Vinchenz Rock and theninjaMikero. But I've been really out of it so I could be wrong.

Possible. My mind was miles away but I would've had like a bottle of orange juice and an almost completely black (was working with conté) left hand. And my face would have looked the way I felt (like a rotten egg salad sandwich).

Now that I've got most of my movie library on my terabyte hard drive, I've developed a fun habit of leaving my favorite movies running in the background of my computer.

I usually have the video covered but the audio's always going and it's almost cathartic to have my familiar favorites constantly running in the background. Especially Shaun of the Dead, that movie is so second-nature to me now that I'm pretty much sub-consciously visualizing the movie anyway just by hearing it, and it doesn't even distract me from what I'm doing.

That doesn't sound like an A combination to me, but the Animal Crossing bit would be good on a sick day.

Does she not mean that she ate salmon in the game?

Insomnia is actually not an inability to sleep. Rather, it's a difficulty maintaining sleep or getting to sleep. Regardless, even if it was just not sleeping it's not insomnia after only a day. And it has to be by accident.

No, I ate salmon in real life (unfortunately) but since I'm sick I couldn't taste a thing (fortunately). And no it wasn't canned, it was made by my mom, who is Italian but doesn't cook big Italian meals (ironically). And the salmon had bones in it and she was like chew it slow and in small amounts! And I was like...this is why you don't buy fish...

I like eating my food at my own pace.
