pillz r 4 panzeez

When I don't get sleep, I just stick it out till the next night, so that when I sleep, I crash.

I'm almost used to it now, people say I look like I'm really pissed off when I'm on 0 though..

I used to do that, and even got used to it. I haven't done it in awhile now, so it's hard for me to do it. Plus, most of my classes are on computers and computers + tiredness makes it very hard not to fall asleep.

I'm taking pills because I'm tired of hardly getting any sleep and waking up ten minutes before classes that start at 3PM. I've been doing it for three months and I thought enough was enough.

Also, I have no networking today so w00t.

I pull a lot random all-nighters for no reason at all. Once I'm up past 6AM, I just say ##### it and don't sleep until the next night.

On the subject of fashion: I like suits and love to get all snazzed up, but they just don't WORK on me. I'm just too short to look good in a suit.

I really like ties, though. It's probably from having to wear them at military school, but I just like having them on. Like, I had so much fun wearing one with my Shaun of the Dead costume. I want to wear one all the time kind of like Faraday on Lost. It just gives you some style and class if done right.

BUT UNFORTUNATELY... my sense of fashion ultimately amounts to me trying to look like a cartoon character. Which means I have two outfits. They are:

- green shirt and khaki shorts (spring and summer)
- green shirt and blue jeans with green sweatshirt (fall and winter)

That's it. Fantastic.

For the record guys, I own 20 green shirts.

It's great.

Nobody's seen me out of a green shirt for this entire college year so far except for three occasions:

- for marching band shows where I had to wear the uniform
- the day MegaMan 9 came out, wore 8-bit MegaMan shirt
- Halloween, wore Shaun of the Dead costume

On St. Patricks Day, I plan on not wearing anything green at all just to be a dick.

On St. Patrick's I'm gonna wear the shirt I'm wearing right now.

My Boston Celtics shirt with the mascot Lucky (a leprechaun) on and it says 1986 World Champions. So awesome.

Plus there's a green sweater I'm gonna buy but I'll wear that for going out or whatever.

I put on an orange shirt I have today for just a second, to look in the mirror. Any other color makes me look like an alien.

Sooooo tomorrow are the auditions for Last Bronco Standing. That's basically my school's verison of Last Comic Standing, though I'm sure I've mentioned it.

I have 3 minutes to make a good impression. Only 5 people move on to round 2. I think around 20 people are trying out. I'm psyched.

You've mentioned it, and it sounds cool. I hope it goes well for you!

I'm probably gonna end up getting the orange sweater that's next to the green one in the window display as well...

I got there about halfway through the auditions, so there were people that I didn't watch, but I watched everyone after me.

There were a lot of people trying out who aren't in the stand-up comedy club, which was surprising.

A lot of the people near the end weren't funny at all, so that was a boost in my confidence.

But for whatever reason, the people around me and including myself were all pretty much the funniest guys trying out. So it was just a clump of the best contenders in the middle.

If I was personally judging, I know the exact five people I'd pick out of who I saw, and who I knew who auditioned before i got there. I did pretty well, but I'm still not sure if I'm gonna' make it or not.

I'll let you guys know, though. I'm pretty excited.

I just finished of a plate of fries and 3 burgers, there was so much food, something JC wouldn't be able to finish. And I mean Jesus AND John, neither of them would be able to pull this off. This is so unusual for me, I was sooo hungry.

How was it? Great.

I'm dying.

3 burgers and a plate of fries is nothing.

Anyways, I'm on a strict diet of sandwiches, salads, and fruits.
Skim milk, juice and water to drink.

I also just went for a 6 mile run.
The sidewalks still have an inch of compacted snow on them making as hard  run.
My ankles and hips and feet are killing me.
I feel cardiovascularly fine though.

Nah, it's fine. I wasn't expecting to make it, and even if I did, there's no way I'd make it past Round 2. And I wouldn't want to, either, since Round 3 is 15 minutes and I don't have that much material yet.

I'm annoyed as hell right now.

Around the October/November, I was asked to join the university's concert band, even though I'm still a high school student. Anyway, I've been improving since I've joined but I still feel totally alienated there.

The french horn player has decided he hates me. This guy is the very definition of a bitch. He speaks with that stereotypical gay voice (I'm so thankful I don't have this) and he's just...I don't know extremely rude to me. When I play he'll turn around and give me a look of annoyance, wide eyes no pupils and slacked mouth, he'll then sigh and roll his eyes, normally that shouldn't really bother you but after awhile it starts taking a bit of a toll...That and if you remember my earlier years here you know I tend to become emotional easily and this does include anger. IT SHOULDN'T BOTHER ME BUT IT IS AND I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. I've been told to just ignore him as he pretty much hates everyone minus a few very talented individuals in the program, he even made one of the friendliest, nicest girls cry.

And he's trying to convince my best friend that I'm just not worth it. My friend used to fight for this guy's approval too, just because it's so damn hard to get, luckily he came to his senses and pretty much hates the bitch as well.

Okay, so last night, I totally cracked and even though I hate junk like Myspace, I got myself a Facebook.

It's nice.

This morning, I packed my Wii and my Mega Man 9 press kit (and YuGiOh cards) to go to the Flea Market. Every now and then, after my college classes, I'd occasionally visit the Flea Market on Fridays and on display in the Videogame Dungeon, they have a system that plays both SNES and NES games.

They have Mega Man 2, 3, 4, and 5 there, but recently sold MM2. I'd take a hold of the controller and wipe through each game with each visit. They're amazed. The clerks saw me and said they couldn't even beat Wily Stage 1 in MM2.

They gave me a nickname: Captain N.

I said sometime, I'd bring my Wii in and beat Mega Man 9 in front of their faces, because they claimed it to be the hardest Mega Man game out of them all, and I know I can breeze through it effortlessly. It's just to stroke my own ego.

But now that I've got my press kit, I'm gonna stroke it even more.

But due to a little thing called "Bike Week", the card shop and VGDungeon are closed. I brought my Wii and everything just to see their doors shut. Next time I'll call, but yeah.

I'm also hoping to blatantly "advertise" the game so people that don't know about it will go on their Wii, Xbox, and PS3... and buy it.

We'll see when I can do this thing.

Anyway, I'm home all day. Got someone to replace my shift for work today.

Captain N.

CAPTAIN NNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEERDDD!

My friends are always amazed when I play MegaMan, a few of them played X collection and X8 for the PS2, and when I used the dash-slash trick in MMX6 to finish off every boss on the last stage, they shat themselves(seriously!). And this one frienemy that plays MegaMan(mostly the Zero series, ew!) has the balls to call me a poser! He's the kind of guy that you see on RPM, I'd so love to challenge the guy. ##### yeah dork-duel!

On what grounds did he call you a poseur?

#####, man. My brother had his room painted with the colours of an NES. And he claims to be of the "gamer" religion. He had "Ownage" below a D-pad tatooed to his wrist. THAT'S A #####ING POSEUR, MAN. He's not even very good at video games. I could probably take on him AND his cousin in almost any game once I gather how it works, and I'm not even very good at video games.

I think it's hilarious that there's even such thing as a gamer poseur.

I'm good enough to get to Sigma without any heart tanks or sub tanks or weapon useage or the other three armor pieces in MMX pretty much. And then I die. A lot. Though I admit this is on a gamecube controller... if it comes for Wii VC I'm getting it.

Who knows, we talked a bit about MMZ, and he probably thought I sucked when I didn't want to beat a boss for a friend. Like I said, this guys like an RPM'er, his logic is beyond repair.

So, today I started ripping up my denim jacket I got a few years ago.. it was crisp and new, so I tore off the sleeves, cut it up, bleach washed it to wear it out. And now I has a punk vest :-)

I plan to use it mainly as night gear, and for my halloween costume, which I'm planning now.

Being "hip" these days is pretty meaningless, given the general multiplicity of subcultures and meta-cultures that exist. It's impossible to really be "with it" or "in the loop", because there are so many goddamn loops that if you tried to be in them all...

... well, it would be one monster of a Venn diagram.

Best thing is just to be who you are (and rip up your denim jacket and fade it so you can be a cool breeze like Wind).

I eventually got into the habit of doing them before I coded anything (at least object by object). Using Java speeds that along because many compilers, especially Eclipse, allow you to create your own documentation for your code, so it shows info on tool-tips for them.

But it's really only useful on larger, more complex projects than whatever it is you must be doing. Helps you figure out what you should be doing (especially in structured/imperative languages).
