You'd be surprised at how many people are so uneventful that the only way to describe them "normal". As in "regular", or "typical".

I can see what you're saying, but those people actually interest me a LOT more than people who are obviously off-color.

I'm going to sell my Wii.

I'm going to see what I can get for it, as it's a used Wii, with GH3 and GHWT, DBZ Budokai Tenkaicki 3, a Guitar, a 1 GB SD card (maybe), and some old Gamecube games with 2 controllers and a memory card.
What do you think?
$250-300?

The 360 Elite that releases with Halo 3 and Fable 2 for 400 bucks comes out in May, and I intend to get that to replace my Wii.
I'll use it a helluva lot more, anyways....

The Wii will probably get you $75-$150, games will hardly be around $5-$20, depending on how recent it was released. I think when I sold X7 I got like 25 cents for it, because they sell it used to $3 (and I bought that piece of ##### for $50!).

...wait, where are you selling it? GameStop?

If you can get $300 selling it to a friend, do that instead. You'll probably get ripped off selling to GameStop, to be honest. I sold Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, and a A LOT of PS2/GameCube games and I only got $40.

Sell it on Craigslist or Kijiji or something. And it could go $200 for the system, that's how cheap they're selling it around me.

I'm selling it to a person, not gamestop.

Gamestop will give me 130 for the system, 10 bucks for each game, 10 bucks for the guitar.
Yeah, helk no.

I'm thinking, selling to a person, the Wii for 175-200, GHWT with Guitar for 30-40, everything else for like 20-40 bucks.
Wavebirds are expensive.
Also, I might sell my DS as well.

Basically, my 360 and my PC would be acting as one.

The friend who was supposed to go see Conchords with me IN FOUR DAYS just got "grounded." She always does this. Who gets GROUNDED nowadays? Screw high school friends.

But yeah, that's all fine and dandy, but now I have to select from a large group of other friends who are killing to go. And that's no fun.

I'm officially done with my freshman year at 2:30PM on Thursday.

Then, Friday, the exclamation point on my freshman year: Flight of the Conchords live.

Oh, and one of my finals is a pizza party.

I'm not a student, but Spring has definitely taken me in a new direction at running speeds.

Yesterday, the temperature reached into the mid-seventies, the sun shone painfully brightly, and the world stretched out provocatively, as if coaxing me to travel up the foothills.

I've been steadily losing weight, and with this is coming self-confidence, energy, and positivity. I'm actually hopeful about getting a job again, and my winter lethargy seems to have passed.

All in all, I'm pretty happy, and I think that it just might help things in the long run.

OH BY THE WAY!

Today I learned that Miley Cyrus is the daughter of that guy who wrote that song where he's like, "DON'T BREAK MY HEART. MY ACHY BREAKY HEART."

Also, that there's apparently at least one chubby woman with short hair and thick glasses who has no tolerance for mentally disabled children, and also seems to think I'm a trained professional babysitter who doesn't deserve a break during his 5+ hour shift.

(Which is the law—at least here in Canada—, for those of you who work without a break.)

Yeah, five hours is pretty standard.

As much as I didn't always enjoy working there, McDonald's has a 3 hours max limit between breaks for over 18, and 2 hours for minors, as well as the number for the labour people under a sign telling employees to always call said labour people if they're worked over company policy, posted on the wall of the employee room (or back of the kitchen, as the situation was in the food court stall).

Also, haha, you're further away from pop culture than I am.

Also, 473 is almost the reverse of my current post count, I think.

You're making a mistake in assuming I knew the guy's name.

I was looking at "hit songs" from the 90s, his name popped up next to the song, and I was like "Whoa."

But yeah, pop culture no...

It's certainly been an interesting night in current events, eh?

Just out of general curiosity, does anyone know what, if any, implications Jon Stewart's being named a chief have?

Also political / protesting relevant interesting things. Clown wigs, anyone?

Today I finished my exam.

Which means that I'm done college for four months.

I also had a 8-way Magic tournament with my friends. I surprisingly won 2nd place, as I never usually win all that much.

You guys probably don't care.

I care though.

Four months... next week and I won't see them for four months.

I'm insanely depressed about this...

*sigh*

Most of my friends moved to Seattle.

... Or never lived here at all.

I'm not even counting internet-only there.

I recently met up with a (newly married) couple from my college anime club, though, and am getting a (vastly improved) new hard drive from him for free, so eh.

Oh, right. The ones who didn't move away got married or arrested.

Or just dropped off the radar all together.

Or had (a) kid/s.

Or some combination of any or all of the above.

Very, very few exceptions.

When you get four total channels on TV, most of which feature Canadian pop culture-centric shows, and regularly associate with a friend who has a thirteen- and a fourteen-year-old, pop culture half becomes natural.

Only  half, though.

The best Canadian shows are finishing up now. They're all comedies, though (actually not "though", "obviously". "They're all comedies, obviously").
Pop culture shows tend to suck in general, so I only bother with maybe one or two, if they're on and I'm not doing something worthwile.

Okay, firstly, you didn't know Miley CYRUS's father was Billy Ray CYRUS?

Second of all, you didn't know Miley CYRUS's father was Billy Ray CYRUS?

He probably didn't know who Billy Ray Cyrus was in the first place and that's EXTREMELY forgivable.

But if someone did know who BRC (and that's not a cool nickname I'm giving him or anything so shut your mouth. I just don't want to type his whole name out although it occurs to me I've just typed way more letters now)
But if someone did know who Billy Ray Cyrus was and didn't catch on to who his daughter is, I'd find that pretty weird.

On to more pressing matters, today I handed in my last final(final final?) of the semester in Life Drawing. But for whatever reason (that being my LD teacher is a knob) we still had a real class. Worth it though, because we had some model we've never had before who was a young woman. Oh no big deal there except wait what her body was OFF THE CHAIN. Like really though, he had the hottest fig I've seen on a nude model since I was in high school (2004) and we had this 19-year old siryn come in.

Like... I'm a pro, I generally detach from the fact this is a person and just draw the object in front of me. Nude models are props. But every now and then today I'd snap back thinking "Ffff##### she's hot!" It might be a combo of her extremely kickin' bod and me being tired, but whatever. I wasn't the only one to think so, so there's that. At point she was leaning on this cube, I was drawing her mid section and her breathing would open and close a gap between her and the cube and it was thinking "..... hot abs... hot hot abs." But this was all preppered through the four hour class so it's not as bad as sounds, I functioned normally. I'm used to seeing naked people all the time.

Who ISN'T used to seeing naked people all the time though (well probably) is the computer technician who had to come fix the computer in the middle of morning and had to walk in where this naked bettie was. That's funny to me. I didn't even think about until my friend mentioned how she introduced herself afterward, and he mentioned how that was probably awkward for both of them. We don't really think of this kind of thing since it's so mundane to have a naked person about, and clearly my teacher who just let the guy in and strode him across while we were drawing didn't think of it either.

Anyway just one five hour class tomorrow where we'll basically nothing I'm done for months! Now I'm gonna go do... Whatever the ##### I want!

If you think I care at all, you're crazy. It's just stuff you know. Like you need water to survive, babies shan't be dropped, Mighty Max ends by having him go back in time to the beginning of the series to relive it all again in an eternal time loop but for some reason he loses his memory when they start the first episode again and that's just crazy.
