I don't know if I'll record it. That means I have to lug around my camera, find someone who I can trust to A) not break/lose it, B) not laugh like a maniac and drown out the video anyway, and C) hold the camera steady so it's not an unwatchable shaky mess. Oh, and D) find a good spot to actually film from. Also, this is going to be a longer set. Probably 10-12 minutes. Dudes, I've had this idea for a while of creating a profile on Facebook for "Fans" so you could "Become a Fan of Fans." But today I found out that they won't let you do that! So I made a page for SUPPORTERS. So, Become a Fan of Supporters.

I'm proud of him...anyway yeah all my neighbor's houses are flooded too and my street is on the news a lot and it's all blocked off and stuff cause our lake flooded into everywhere.

This story is mainly for Mike, but everyone should enjoy.
I've spent most of the day at a friend's house for a birthday gathering thing. They have two dogs. They have two dog cages.
I was getting ready to go home, but one of our friends had an idea: "Hey, guys, if I go into this dog cage, will you give me five bucks?"
Obviously, everyone said no. Even though it was a tiny cage.
We had just changed the channel and Louis CK's most recent stand-up special was on Comedy Central, so I knew I wasn't going to actually leave until it was done.
So, I had my own idea: "Dude, if you get in the cage and STAY there until I leave, I'll give you TEN dollars."
Because I didn't plan on leaving for another thirty minutes.
And like I said, it was a tiny cage.
I hand him the ten dollars, and tell him if he gets out of the cage before I leave, he has to give it back.
He manages to fit inside, and everyone is cracking up and having a good time, because this is funny. He literally cannot move in there, it looks extremely uncomfortable, etcetera - I knew he was going to get out of the cage and I'd get my ten dollars back.
About 10 minutes later, he gives up. "Not worth it." He gets out of the cage and then refuses to give my ten dollars back.
Suddenly, I had another idea.
"Slap bet."
The two friends in the room who have seen How I Met Your Mother instantly looked at me, grinning.
"What?"
"Slap bet."
I know this isn't technically a slap bet since it kind of just TRANSFORMED into one, but my god was it just as fun:
"What are you talking about?"
"You can keep the ten dollars if you let me slap you three times right now, or five times at any random point for the rest of our lives."
After some convincing, he finally agreed to it.
He chose the three quick slaps, unfortunately. The five forever would have been more fun.
But hoo boy.
*SLAP!*
"OW, #####, OW, OW, THAT REALLY #####ING HURT, GODDAMNIT" etc. etc.
So much fun.
"THIS ISN'T WORTH IT, I'M DONE, TAKE YOUR TEN DOLLARS"
"Dude, you already got one slap! Just take two more like a man!"
"...f-fine..."
"I'll do it gentler this time, just close your eyes and-" *SLAP!*
"WHAT THE ##### MAN, NO WARNING?! #####. #####. ##### THAT HURT."
Such a fantastic night.
"Oh, sorry, next time I'll-" *SLAP!*
JUST AWESOME.
I HIGHLY RECCOMEND REAL-LIFE SLAP BETS.

So, yesterday, Annie got me a new wallet!
You've probably seen it before, it's from Hot Topic. It's in the shape of an NES controller, with the inside of the wallet filled with 8-bit coins from Super Mario Bros. Aside from that, it's better than my old wallet for sure. I can fit more stuff in this one.
And yeah, I dunno if it was mentioned before, but the past week has been filled with nothing but rain and flood. The lake outside Annie's house flooded out into the streets and into everyone's houses. She has flood insurance and it didn't touch much (she lives a little bit higher up), but a lot of neighbors aren't so lucky. Although the water is back off the streets, the carpet from most of the rooms of the house has been stripped away and is being replaced soon. That's just about all that's damaged.
Countless other homes on the block have ruined furniture and priceless items though, so it really sucks.
Also, those Mega Man shoes? She ordered them, and is now wearing them. They're actually pretty cool to see in person. I'm tempted to get some.
*plays with wallet*
