Yeah, you should see America. It's like, 1850s America. It's not us at all.

And there's a few "roller coasters". One is a simulator, and Test Track is as close as you can get. Everything else is either a movie or a slow ride.

Anyway, I have bad news.

Today I had work scheduled from 12 PM to 10 PM. Yes, I'm still working at Wendy's, for 3 years. If you didn't know that, you should go slam a brick into your face though.

I walk in, and everyone tells me the whole store is gonna be shut down. I asked for confirmation and yes, the facts are there. The store is too old, it's been vandalized, bathrooms and equipment are breaking, and we're not the busiest Wendy's around. The only reason I stuck around at this job is because everyone I work with is nice, the place is laidback because we get frequent breaks of slow business as long as it's not the Lunch shift. The economy going down also kinda made us lose some business, and... pretty much, here's how the store stands. This isn't probably all accurate, this is just from what I heard. All that matters is: The store isn't making enough money, and will be shut down July 19th.

What this means is: I get to choose two other Wendy's close to my area that I can transfer to, and wait for them to accept me. However, if they're too full with staff, I'm currently unemployed.

##### man that sucks, but at least you have the CHANCE to transfer. I know how it is. When I worked at the grocery store they told us two days before we were closing down, which is actually against the law. Closed down every store in the province with 2 days notice to any and all employees under management. They #####ed over so many people who were lifers who had kids to provide for.

They still owe me like a thousand bucks and I was only part time (who was doing the work of five people AND overtime for full time standards but still). Part of that was worker's comp they never paid me for #####ing my finger. On my left hand. Which is my drawing hand, which I could have claimed more for, but it healed fine. I'm rambling now.

At least you've had a job...

There is nothing in Augusta, Maine.

Like, McDonalds has 1000 applications right now.
As does every other fast food place.
And any place in general that is hiring.

Most of the applicants are adults who need to provide for their families.

No way a college student is gonna get a job.

Posted on: July 04, 2009, 12:12:26 AM

So I watched the biggest fireworks display in Maine earlier with my girlfriend.

It was raining.

We were standing almost directly under them and got coated with ash and shells.

One went off really early and extremely explosively and shot directly into the crowd, missed me by a few feet. A few people got singed shirts.

I got the remains of what seems to be a fuse on me and that little bitch burned my neck. It's like 2 inches long.

All in all a damned fun night.

So, earlier in the summer, I lent out my Six Feet Under DVD's to a friend of mine, and she's been slowly watching them for the last couple of months.

I told her I wanted to watch the finale again with her when she got to it, and that happened today.

The reason I wanted to watch it with her was because I was curious to see if she'd cry.

I was almost expecting her not to, despite my faith in that unbelievable finale, because I kept telling her she would, which would mean she'd probably try harder not to.

IT WAS LIKE NIAGRA FALLS UP IN THERE

If the Virgen de El Panecillo, the Statue Of Liberty, and Kiev's Rodina Mat teamed up could they take the Foshan Golden Buddha? Or like, do they need divine statue intervention from the Cristo in Rio or something?

Just wondering.

Porn swaps are better, especially when you end up breaking someone with it.

Both are fun, though.

Busy weekend. Feck-ton of fun. Two barbecues, lots of Rock Band (PS3), and lots of delicious apricot ale even though Ryan drank twice as much of my beer as I did and I'm still a little miffed about it.

All in all, a fantastic time. :D

I've been up for 24 hours straight working and going to class. Good times.

I had to have both windows open in my car as well as blasting the new Anti-Flag album on my way home from work just so I'd stay awake.

The new album is okay. It's better than "Bright Lights of America", but not as good as "For Blood and Empire".

I barely ate yesterday, so I just had four Hot Pockets when I came home. Soon I will be going to sleep so I can be up for work at 1 PM.

That was an absolutely stupid and useless comment.
Are you trying to imply that only retards can break windows and steal nothing?

Alec, either somebody hates you, or they were attempting to steal something but somebody came around and they ditched.

I'm sorry to hear it too, windows are friggin pricey.

No, am implying who ever did is, if your going to take the time to smash a damn window, then of course your going to steal something no matter how small the oject is, and even if somebody does the the guy would have to take SOMETHING, I once when I had a Jeep with a nice sound system, I left it parking as well at my work place, by the time I was about to go home not only did they destroy the driver side of my window to take my sterio,a CD case that had the collection of MMX music that I loved so much, and my damn Ipod. To top it off they also broke the back window to take the amplifier and the pair of bass woffers that I had. Theeennnn for the damn windows they broke was 600 bucks.

So that's why I said that was a #####in retard when he only broke his window. Am starting to realize that I have the #####yist luck too.

Maybe they were mentally retarded???

I know several people who have had their cars broken into and nothing was stolen. They might see something like a paycheck stub or a wallet, take a crowbar, break in, and grab that wallet only to find out it's empty. They do have motives.

So they overlooked the iPod and GPS. They must've had another reason. If it's just out of hate, it's senseless rage.

I hate when something sounds so dope at the time and then when you go back to it you hate it.

I started writing a new rhyme on the drive home so I instantly typed it down when I got in, and that's fine. But then I looked at old bits of raps and stuff I saved and didn't go back to. I haaaate my unfinished rhymes. They tend to either be bad because they're unfinished or just bad.

Yesterday I went to the beach with my girlfriend. Walked about 6 miles total.

Last 2 days have involved 350 miles of driving, $35 in gas, almost no sleep (like 2 hours), and sunburns.

Good time though.

It it looks disgusting and it #####ing hurts. I'm telling you guys this so you can break the habit of nail biting so you don't get something like this.

Don't know how many of you guys have a nail biting habit but I'm sure a few of you do.

I never had a habit of that. I had weird habits though. I would dig my teeth into my gums at the back by moving my jaw sideways. I would pick at the part where the side of my nails met the skin, making it all white and dead.

It was weird, I liked the feeling from doing it. But I didn't get anything from biting my nails. I even tried it just now and I'm like "Why do people do this?"

My landlord just sold me a surround sound system for 50 bucks.
I have no idea where I'm going to put everything.

Like, it works good, and it's SURROUND SOUND, but it's 8 years old.
And it's sony.

I'm just curious if I'll gain anything from it, as I already have a nice stereo setup.

I have a tiny room too, so I don't really have any place to put the speakers, as they don't have the mounting brackets.
They do sound very nice though, and I live the subwoofer.
And they at least work too, I tested it and sounds from behind DO come from behind, as well as lefts and rights.

Posted on: July 13, 2009, 07:54:31 PM

Well, I set up the sound system and it's AWESOME.

I have my old speakers at the back as I needed brackets to hold them up, and the ones that match the system up front, using makeshift brackets.
