I went to Niagara Falls for like the third time in my life. Still too many people. Falls are nice, though. Also gambled in the most confusing Casino I`ve ever been in. As usual I lost everything.

I'm scanning in articles/book chapters to put on Blackboard for professors. As much as I love my new scanner, I'm pretty sure it's retarded.

Goddamn paying bills sucks.

Luckily I have the support of my Dad... I love the guy, he just saved my ass when I thought I had no more money for the month. I didn't even ask for it either... ;_;

But anyway, this year at college I feel more at home. I've been actually doing homework and I've learned more than I ever had last year. I feel like I'm finally getting out of my procrastination slump and that I'll finally succeed at this. I've also been seeing a counselor and I feel that's been helping me a lot.

I also talked to my course coordinator and he set me up so that even though I failed second year courses, I'll still be doing my third year as if I haven't and that next year I can re-take the failed courses. That way, I can do the final project (which is creating a whole game to be downloaded on XBox Live Arcade Indie Games!) with my friends.

So... yeah. That's my life for this past month and a half. And for once in two years I finally feel like it's coming together.

Yeah bills stink. That's all I'm ever really paying for. I only have enough income to pay for car insurance, so my parents are basically paying for my tuition.

Valentines Day today. Ate at Subway, got free cookies, and got soaked in a storm. Sounds better than previous ones.

I've always been more interested in my birthday this time of year anyway. Just a few days away.

Oh. I had valentines day thing too. Went to Mandarin (amazing chinese buffet in Ontario, if you're ever there, drop by, it's top #####), and then watched Just Go With It with the girly. I expected more from a Happy Madison movie, it was alright but they're lacking now.

I then got Black Coffee Blues for $7.50 and got the ##### outta there.

an English-Spanish dictionary,
a 2500-word pocket translator,
a book called "Wicked Spanish for the Traveller"

Japanese:
High school Japanese textbook,
College Japanese textbooks and spoken language workbook,
Two books in Japanese

Miscellaneous:
a book called "Latin for All Occasions",
a textbook on the origin of language

Yesterday I won two movie contests in the last 15 minutes of my workday. First, I found out I won a "Take Me Home Tonight" theatrical poster. Second, I won two tickets to go see Red State with Kevin Smith at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC. This Saturday.

The worst part is, I'm too #####ing broke to go, so I'm trying to find someone to take these tickets off my hands.

As the days ease by, I am growing ever more excited for the wedding. We've arranged our vows, I'm getting last minute things done, people are giving last minute confirmations or declinations of their attendance, and we're trying to figure out when I have time to get the wedding license.

Seeing as some people have specifically asked, the flower crown will have delphiniums and a bunch of other flowers, mostly blue, that I forgot to write down, and will be tied with a black ribbon. The bouquet will have hyacinth, kermits and irises and some other things I forgot to write down. There will be a large bouquet for decoration as well.

We'll be using false petals for the flower girl to throw, and small false flowers for table decorations.

This Sunday, I get to see my dress in its entirity. It's simple, but it's lovely. I'm very excited.

We're receiving wedding gifts in the mail, and it's very hard not to open them. Next Wednesday, Ray's folks arrive. I've never met them in person before, so I am admittedly a bit nervous.

This sinus infection seems to be clearing up. My ears don't hurt, and my sore throat is abating, though the laryngitis had better be gone before the wedding or I will have to do something drastic to it.


In short, days is busy. :D
