New Pokemon DS game? Pokemon Platinum

Theres a rumor goin' round about a new version of the DS Pokemon RPG, entitled Pokemon Platinum. Theres now some screen shots and a scan of it, this is weird to me since the screen shots are in amazing quality so soon. Looks really good too though, no doubt I'll be getting this.

Anybody else UP FOR A POKEMAN BADDLE?!

I'm pretty sure this'll just be Diamond and Pearl with some added content, kind of like what Crystal(?) was for Gold and Silver. Just like what Yellow was for Red and Blue, ya know?
Nonetheless, that looks pretty damn cool. I might just buy it, 'cause I haven't touched Diamond in like almost a year now, and that new Giratina looks pretty bitchin'.

It being the third version in the DS series is obvious, they ALWAYS do this, yellow, crystal, emerald, and now this.

That Giratina looks... I don't know, weirdish..

Yet it still looks awesome for some reason.

Oh, how I wish for a GS remake, they had a fake page in CoroCoro magazine before. I flipped out when I found it.

Nintendo seriously must hate it or something... They remade the first games (Which were great), but not Gold/Silver?

Hell, even in SSB: Brawl there were absolutely NO remixes of anything GS related. Only the Melee song made it and its unedited.

I hear it's because all the Pokemon are no longer un-obtainable, every single Pokemon could be caught because the Johto ones were in FR/LG.. The only remaining one is Celebii which has yet to be officially included in any game.

I almost wonder if this will be it for Pokemon. After all, they already made a time/space pokemon. A land/seas pokemon and everything inbetween. Heck, they even made a "God" Pokemon. So I don't know where they're gonna go for new pokes. Not that I don't want them to, I just don't see how. Maybe they'll try to flesh out some of the types with less pokes. Such as Dark, Steel and Dragon types.

I hope this is enough, I mean 500 pokemon? That's completely stupid, what happened to the good ol' days of the pokemon show where a special unknown pokemon appeared and everyone was all "OMFG NEW POKEMAN!!11".. now it just gets disgusting.. a new breed to rape the world.. you gotta wonder, with all these monsters out there, why haven't the humans become overrun and killed off by now?

OR they could have just made good games without having to add 100 uninspired Pokemon every time. You know, they have gold, silver, and crystal or whatever (that's not even an element or colour like the others, what a stupid title) with just a few new ones like the main big ones and the few from that series that were really cool.

Then they'd probably still have somewhere to go with the series.

MegaMan has a lot of things in common with newer Pokemon games if you think about it too. Except for that big success part, yes.

I still enjoy Pokemon games, with MegaMan its a chore.

I do get the feeling they have no idea that their entire fanbase has shifted to younger kids who don't appreciate what MegaMan once was.
