Variations?

I recent managed to get my hands on a copy of Megaman Legends 2, and I've noticed it's different from the copy a friend of mine has when it comes to Hard Mode.

My Hard Mode is, I assume, like that of most NTSC copies. My friend's, however, has a few notable changes. First off the mini map is on the right, not the left. Secondly the health bar for a boss depletes from the right, with the base/icon thing being on the left. Megaman's health and Weapon Energy bars are in the right places, so it's not that the game's flipped. On top of that, the health bars actually go off the screen. Finally, his copy doesn't have Very Hard Mode and mine does.

I can't find anything about this online. Has anyone got any ideas about this? I'll try and get screenshots of his game by the weekend and post them up.

Yours could possibly be some kind of re-release, or his isn't legal.

I'm pretty sure his is legal, since he got it on preorder years ago from a legit store.

Maybe yours was a different version?

Like a different area shipment

Both games are PAL and were sold in London from licenced retailers.

Could it be anything to do with having a completed Legends 1 savefile on the Memory Card?
