I might buy a copy just to burn it so as not to ruin some poor soul's day. I sure as hell will not play it, however.

You have to keep in mind that I haven't really touched my DS since ZX Advent back in October, so I feel like I might as well give it a try if the option arises.

Actually, StarForce 2 isn't out yet. It comes out tomorrow, today was the shipping day.

Either way, I might play it. I won't be buying it that's for sure.

Yeah, around here, games usually arrive at stores on the shipping day, but I've both been places where they're available the next day and heard complaints of people living elsewhere where that happens.

I had both Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy a day before a lot of people I talked to online.

Well, then I guess where I live they're lazy and wait an extra day.

The game came out? Coincidentally, I'm busy with computer problems (duh), will be busy with school, and currently don't care.

I'll probably boycott til' Capcom announces the sales flopped.

Well since no other MM9 exists, it would be the best selling MM9 by default as long as one person buys SF2.

Actually, StarForce 2 isn't out yet. It comes out tomorrow, today was the shipping day.

At least around here it does.

I've heard that they're actually not supposed to, but a lot of places just say ##### it and dish it out when they get it in.

I figured that out. It's usually the Best Buy around here that does it. There's one GameStop I know that does it, but there's one much closer to me and it's not worth driving that much further unless I really want the game.

Oh, I just found out they removed every single voice in the game.

Seems they're pulling a ZX with the voices, again. I love how Capcom is so lazy when making the game AND localizing it.

What?

Huh, if you mean that the letters aren't all the same width no matter what, you are correct. Was the first one not like that? And what about Battle Network?

Yes, that's what I mean.

ALL the Battle Network games had all of the letters the same width and so did the first StarForce.

It was an extremely huuuuuuuge pet peeve of mine.

And now... I may buy this just because the text doesn't look retarded. >_>

Well, there you go.

This game doesn't. But, for some reason, every time there's a comma, they don't put a space between it and the next character.

So, this sentence would like "so,this sentence would like 'so,this sentence would lo-paradox continues.'"

The BN and first SF did that too. I think it just used to save space (because Capcom was too lazy to give it variable width text) but it still does that, eh?

I'm not even going to edit my post since I made the same typo TWICE in a row, and that is baffling.
"So this sentence would LOOK like "so,this sentence would LOOK like 'so,thi~~~ etcetera.

I'm baffled.

I can't believe I did that.

It must be because I'm playing Star Force.

You can do that in the English version?

I have to do that soon...

Yeah, I noticed the font right away, it's alot better. >_>

That first battle such a joke.

110 HP doesn't make this very fun.

Though, I'm not gonna' lie, I do love the battle system. I guess this game is worth it just to battle online.

It's just the endless child-like dialogue and pretty much everything that isn't battling that I hate about Star Force.

Next time we fight, it shall be for real.

I heard it's really easy to get HPMem's in this game. We'll find out.

Wait a bit 'till we fight again, we practically were the exact same player.

There's a thing in the game called Wave Command or whatever, apparently alot of people abuse it to death and have over 3000HP or something. So I guess it is pretty easy to get HPmems.

Why do people keeps saying they're gonna buy the game to throw it out?

That's a terrible waste of money, and Capcom makes money off it no matter WHAT you do with the game.

Steal it, and THEN destroy it.

And yeah, Mike, there are two versions of this game. In one you get a dinosaur transformation, and in the other you get a ninja transformation.

... OK. I'm not even going to comment (further than this) on how "OMG cool blue bomber I love MegaMan lol awesome 4chan I'm thirteen anime pop rocks mountain dew hannah montana" these designs have so stellarly achieved and just get to what they are like beyond that...

The red, which I assume is dino, looks like a weirdo red Power Ranger and the green looks like a bizarro green Power Ranger. Seriously, like the green looks like he's a dragon version, and is what I can only say would be a rather clunky and clumsy ninja. And yellow is possibly the worst colour a ninja could have on them. There's a reason Batman got rid of it!

But, of course, we're talking MM games in the 21st century so of course everything that's supposed to be stealthy is huge and clunky and bright and loud. ::stares at Command Mission::

The thought of a ninja thing combined with this "making your avatar" jargon ALMOST enticed me. Really. Not that I'd get it anyway, as I'm sure that while it might not be awful, it's probably not good either. I'll wait until everyone's finished the game to really find out.

It's better than average. Meaning, I'd give it a 7 out of 10 so far.

I mean, whether or not it's a good game, Capcom seems to deliver a quality package with the Star Force games. As in, it's professional and presentable.

It's just the content that pisses me off a lot.

The WiFi was very satisfactory, with what I played against Nova. So, that was worth it for me. The BrotherBand junk is greatly improved in this one.

I completed the first main scenario and I like it better than the first game, but it's still Star Force. I can't love it. But I'm enjoying it a LOT, and that's more than I expected.

I needed something to do because I'm going on a lot of car rides this summer, and I always fall under the trap when it comes to MegaMan. I figure if I want to hate on a game like Star Force, I should at least play it first.

And yes, Mike, the art style is whacko.

Even BN4 started out OK.

Actually you know what, scratch that. I can't say that. I've honestly repressed most of my memory of that game other than what REALLY irked me about it.

Anyway as for playing a game you're gonna hate on, I get that. That's the reason I decided to undertake the first three MMZ games. As long as you play enough of them you can say whether or not they suck. I can't say ZX or Star Force such, but I trust they do based on what everyone's said. I plan to play them someday, but I'm not gonna pay for it.

Well, I personally like ZX and ZXA and think both of them are great games. The only thing I don't like is the excessive form transformations, and as Rez said, MegaMan games were fine when you only had one character to play as. I get that, and I agree, but it's a fun concept and it didn't really hurt the gameplay, just made it excessive.

But yeah, Star Force 1 was so nothing, neither good nor bad, but I liked the battle system so I wanted to play it online.
