It's better than average. Meaning, I'd give it a 7 out of 10 so far.
I mean, whether or not it's a good game, Capcom seems to deliver a quality package with the Star Force games. As in, it's professional and presentable.
It's just the content that pisses me off a lot.
The WiFi was very satisfactory, with what I played against Nova. So, that was worth it for me. The BrotherBand junk is greatly improved in this one.
I completed the first main scenario and I like it better than the first game, but it's still Star Force. I can't love it. But I'm enjoying it a LOT, and that's more than I expected.
I needed something to do because I'm going on a lot of car rides this summer, and I always fall under the trap when it comes to MegaMan. I figure if I want to hate on a game like Star Force, I should at least play it first.
And yes, Mike, the art style is whacko.

Well, I personally like ZX and ZXA and think both of them are great games. The only thing I don't like is the excessive form transformations, and as Rez said, MegaMan games were fine when you only had one character to play as. I get that, and I agree, but it's a fun concept and it didn't really hurt the gameplay, just made it excessive.
But yeah, Star Force 1 was so nothing, neither good nor bad, but I liked the battle system so I wanted to play it online.
