The charging Mega Buster introduced in MM4 is missing (at least initially) but Rush is available from the start - as Rush Coil, naturally. Sliding was also MIA, though we did see small tunnels suspiciously similar to those accessed by the slide move. So... They're either going to make this downloadable content for extra money, or else bad things I don't even want to bother putting into text, since we all get it by now.
Man, just because people enjoy MM2 the most, doesn't mean we should get something stripped down to be MM2.5, especially not after all the STANDARDIZED things that's been implemented into every game one way or another since they were introduced? Or else even charging extra as downloadable content, and in this case, REALLY being a situation where features were removed that already exist in the game or should have to begin with are "Turned Off" for a quick buck, really gets my blood boiling...
Suppose once E3 hits with it's lackluster updates and Wii Fit 2 or Mario Party 12 news, more information will hopefully be unvieled. Now this is looking more like a dead horse that needs to just be buried, instead of something epic and fun ><
The most pessimistic view I've seen of the game. Like Chron said, they'll probably be achievable partway through the game via some means. It's not like ANY other game for Wii has actually had DLC. They don't have any good way for implementing it yet. Like they'll charge for basic features....

Where else would they come out, then? They've been slowly getting released on the VC over in Europe, and I'm pretty sure that Rockman has been up on the VC over in Japanland for awhile now.
Outside of Nintendo's general lack of care or effort they use for VC matters, seems like a pretty decent way to get some money raised for both Capcom and Nintendo, and to get people excited for the new game that looks more and more like Mike called it on at first.
Oh yeah, I call Model a being in this game, since my faith is taken down a bit more each update on this title, and Inti probably WOULD do something like that for laughs and "Nostalgia" for the ZXA players :'(

Xbox generation is special. They'd hate MM9 if it came out, but they're all raving about N+ and it's gameplay, so it's a mix bag there. They all still hop on the latest shooter game that comes out and go nuts over it, regardless of quality, though, so it's probably a moot point about them.
I guess what Chron said is true about them using the processor power to make a really nifty game, and that magnetic deal in that video means I just won by default a trivial argument on GameFAQ's out of the hundreds of topics about MM9, so sorta hurray there.
Music sounds so so for now out of the segments that were shown, but I'm still waiting more to see some HUGE Wily Fortress Bosses before I decide if it's a launch day purchase or not from me, since I'm jaded when it comes to how the MM series is handled anymore, and want to see the devs put their money where their mouth is.
Anyone else fear that this is how Legends 3 will be handled if this game sells well...?

It's MEGA MAN 9. Not Star Force 3: Scorned Zebra. Any self respecting Mega Man fan will but this day one. Posted on: 8 July 2008, 11:59:12
Speaking of buying day one (and excuse me for the double post), but Mega Man 9 will cost 1000 Wii points... Or, rather, ten American dollars. I don't know how to do the thing where I insert the link into a name, so: http://kotaku.com/5023198/mega-man-9-cheap-as-10-chips

Right. The only good downloadable content, is free downloadable content. I shouldn't have to pay to update a game I bought since the game should have been complete WHENCE I HAST BOUGHTEN IT! Even free "DLC" is kind of stupid to me, but at least I don't feel like a total chump. Same reason I will never pay for an MMORPG like WoW (you know, besides the fact that the game is totally gay) or KotOR. I'm never going to buy a game that makes me constantly pay to play it. It's cheaper to go to an arcade and do that, and the games there could even be BETTER. But if any of you expected Capcom to NOT put your through hoops and ##### with this game then you were #####ing dreaming, skid. I'm constantly surprised by the large amount of people I meet who don't even know who MegaMan is.
I'd be happy if that were to happen to me. Since everyone seems to think BN or MMZ star MegaMan. Hell people even think X is MM half the time. But since X is good, I don't mind as much (but still want to kill them, just less painfully). Someone here once told a story of them trying out Command Mission at EB or some other store and people came up behind them and were like "Oh look, it's Mega Man! And there's Protoman, and Bass!" ... They were looking at X, Zero, and Axl...
