Aw, damn, I had the coupon too.  And thanks, Mikey.

MM9 is all fake! Just a rumor from RPM!

The MM9 is a lie? Well, ALL YOU KNOW IS A LIE!

Have someone taking a picture of you throwing a pear at some ducks. And make a new meme.

I still have this one, too.

If I had a picture of a pier covered in ducks, I could use that. I could easily get a picture of a pier covered in SEAGULLS, but that clearly won't help.

All hail the mighty Morgan Guyer!

I love how Wily is some sort of unhelmeted Darth Vader with hair and an eye thing.

And Mega Man has his buster AND his gun.  God, Wily is screwed over now.

Edit: Amazing what a little MSPaint can do.

Yeah, the fact that he's holding a gun and he has a buster is what made me laugh the most. Also, Wily just looks ridiculous.

Ah, classic Mega Man, where one look at the "box art" is enough to produce a smile.

Anywho, the whole MM9 excitement that was in me last night is starting to die, as I don't have any current-gen consoles.  I should save up $250 just to get the Wii to play this.

I want to know where the hell that came from.

Apparently, it's from Capcom and IS the "boxart" in T-Shirt form. Only and handful of them exist.

"According to Capcom's reps, only the company's internal people have managed to finish both stages. So, I had pride on the line and stuff. I asked if I could have one of their amazing MM9 "box art" T-shirts if I won -- it's truly a thing of glory, with badly-airbrushed Mega Man, a cyborg Dr. Wily and even the classic Capcom first-gen-NES grid background -- but alas, only a handful exist and belong to the game's internal staff. I pressed on regardless. Behold, the fruits of my labor!"

Wow, thats excellent, I wasn't expecting this much. I mean, even in the MegaMan 1 and 2 boxart Wily didn't look like that.

Still awesome though.

Reading up on it, this was apparently just made for the shirts some Capcom booth attendants wore at E3 to promote MegaMan 9.

On Playstation Network, when you buy games it has a boxart.

I hope they use that picture as the boxart. Either way, I'm probably going to buy MM9 on my future-existing PS3.

I'm getting it on Wii. 360's D-pad sucks ass compared to the Wii Remotes AND the Classic Controller.

Classic Controller's dpad is the best in the current generation.

However, it still doesn't hold a candle to the REAL best ever, the SNES pad.

I don't know if someone posted this already, but here's more vids from E3 from someone who DOESN'T suck at the game.

Classic Controller feels weird for games like MegaMan 9 and Wiimote turned sideways feels awkward no matter what.

Unless I can somehow get that SNES classic controller that few people ever owned in Japan, then I'm going with the PS3's controller, which is the next best thing.

That disappearing-block puzzle over the spikes looks particularly nasty.

I think I just died a little inside.

1UP: I'm excited that the game is being created by IntiCreates, who made the Zero and ZX games. Those were actually very challenging games -- much harder than the classic games in my opinion -- but they really get what makes Mega Man good. Are they bringing some of the design concepts and innovations of the Zero and ZX games into MM9 to make it more contemporary and challenging?

That's the kind of cancer that game companies are pandering to.  That person knows nothing of good game design.  It's only slightly better than the types bitching becasue MM9 is 8bit.

That quote says Zero and ZX are much harder than the originals.

Yeah. No charge shot? No slide? That's just practically Mega Man 1 and 2 all over again. Doesn't sound like a sequel at all.

I wonder if they'll give some weird explanation as to why MegaMan can't charge his buster anymore or slide.

Seriously, I think it's impossible to forget to slide.... also I saw small spots in the levels in the game where you can only get to by sliding.. and I saw items in there, so there HAS to be sliding... or a weapon like Boomer Kuwanger's in X1...
