You should not HAVE to buy "points" (which is just like exchanging money for #####tier money, like euros to pesos or rubles except that you can't trade them back and are forced to only use them in one place) to buy a game you can't even touch.
You know, I can use my debit card at a video game STORE. Or even CASH! CASH! FREAKING CASH. And then I can like, hold my game, and it can't get wiped out of existence by something as easy as putting a fridge magnet on my Wii.
Hey, I didn't say anything about virtual games being better than real games. If anything, I would much rather own a cartridge containing MM9 than downloading it on a Wii/PS3. I only said "FREAKING DEBIT CARD" because, well, I've never seen an online thing use Debit Cards before. Oh, and Nintendo can restore your Wii settings if you send it in, so you don't need to buy your games again.

That's what the BOX with the ACTUAL DISC of the game SHOULD be like. You should not HAVE to buy "points" (which is just like exchanging money for #####tier money, like euros to pesos or rubles except that you can't trade them back and are forced to only use them in one place) to buy a game you can't even touch.

And I didn't say you did. I only said "FREAKING DEBIT CARD" because, well, I've never seen an online thing use Debit Cards before. PayPal does this... But anyway... Oh, and Nintendo can restore your Wii settings if you send it in, so you don't need to buy your games again.
Right but then I have to send my Wii in. Plus it could royally ##### up and they won't be able to restore it. Hell, I'm sure if somehow my Wii falls and breaks in half by means of earthquake or something, restoring settings isn't going to be that simple.
