Locked away somewhere I have a video cassette (back in my day, that's where what we watched the talking pictures on) that I bought in high school, in a bargain area, in the bin, reeling about with other crap, of all the Karaoke Cafe stuff.

I had 200, so I bought 2000 just in case Majora's Mask or Smash Bros. popped online.

Then this news appeared and I was all like, "SWEEEET!"

Then that means you need PS3 points, if those exist.

And Vin, you should at least get some for when EarthBound (eventually) comes out on VC.

Meh, if it did come out and I had the Wii, I'd just stick with the original SNES cartridge I have, kthx.

And why would you want to play it on the PS3 anyway? The Wii lets use use the remote sideways like a NES controller. IT'S FREAKING PERFECT.

They do, and are easier to buy and use than a Wii Points card. I can use my DEBIT card to buy them right at home, and a many as I want. A FREAKING DEBIT CARD.

And yeah, I'm probably going to buy one more Card for EarthBound and Super Mario RPG.

Wiimote on its side = Awkward to hold, especially with small hands like mine.

PS3 controller: Feels extremely comforable.

Not diagonally. You'd better hope there aren't any 8 directional weapons. I can't even use Metal Blade on my PSP.

You can buy Wii Points on a debit card at home.

... I think.

Credit card, not debit. Debit = too sensitive in terms of privacy for online transactions.

You should not HAVE to buy "points" (which is just like exchanging money for #####tier money, like euros to pesos or rubles except that you can't trade them back and are forced to only use them in one place) to buy a game you can't even touch.

You know, I can use my debit card at a video game STORE. Or even CASH! CASH! FREAKING CASH. And then I can like, hold my game, and it can't get wiped out of existence by something as easy as putting a fridge magnet on my Wii.

Hey, I didn't say anything about virtual games being better than real games. If anything, I would much rather own a cartridge containing MM9 than downloading it on a Wii/PS3.

I only said "FREAKING DEBIT CARD" because, well, I've never seen an online thing use Debit Cards before.

Oh, and Nintendo can restore your Wii settings if you send it in, so you don't need to buy your games again.

That's what the BOX with the ACTUAL DISC of the game SHOULD be like.

PayPal does this... But anyway...

Oh, and Nintendo can restore your Wii settings if you send it in, so you don't need to buy your games again.

Right but then I have to send my Wii in. Plus it could royally ##### up and they won't be able to restore it.

Hell, I'm sure if somehow my Wii falls and breaks in half by means of earthquake or something, restoring settings isn't going to be that simple.

And I didn't say you did.

No hard feelings. You just made it sound like I perfer virtual games to normal games to me.

Hell, I'm sure if somehow my Wii falls and breaks in half by means of earthquake or something, restoring settings isn't going to be that simple.

Actually, it is. Every Wii has an account. Every account is stored on Nintendo's servers. If you broke your Wii or something, as long as you can send in something of your Wii they'll be able to hook you up with a new Wii with all of your games saved on it.

Except they can't replace save files. That's the only big problem.

I would think they can tell you your account based on the serial number.

As for save files, can anything not be backed up onto an SD card?
