How the hell did the MM7 and 8 osts come out so ##### compared to this #####ing MASTERPIECE?  It fits with the MM1-6 collection so well...

Hornet Man's design, I really like.

But his sprite looks so dumb.

Same goes for Tornado Man, but his design should have been better in the first place anyway.

Yeah, but I can't put my finger on it, it just doesn't have that same gusto that the MM1-6 had, probably just the robot masters themselves.

Anyway, gonna start spriting these guys since the sprites and mugs are right there, and they look pretty cool. Heres Galaxy Man, I'll have Tornado Man up later or something.

Like I've said with many game tracks and such, I'm not gonna listen to the soundtrack yet until the game comes out.

But from what Rez says, this sounds pretty good.

I like the PACKAGING.  I've not heard the music outside the promo vids, but I have liked what I've heard so far.  I won't listen to the ost until I've played the game.

If I was supposed to pay $30 for a CD with songs to a game I'm waiting for but are only 40 seconds long, I would just download them like I was going to initially do until an Old Man sent me to the Mauling Tent.

HornetMan is my favorite Robot Master in this game design wise.

GalaxyMan is my favorite right now, followed by PlugMan, and then HornetMan.

I think HornetMan looks stupid as hell but for some reason I love it.

Also, I'd love if somebody could give me a link to a credible place to order this soundtrack online at. I don't know ##### about what sites to import things from, so I figure somebody here could help me out.

GUYS I JUST LISTENED TO THE MOST OF THE SOUNDTRACK.

IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT.

[spoiler]Well, maybe except for the boss music a little bit (still better than Megaman 8's), and the reusing of Megaman 2 music in the Menu, Boss Intro, Boss Finish and Weapon Get...[/spoiler]

Final Boss Battle and Boss Theme makes me think that our sound composer is in another building... At least the final stage themes are quite well done, along with several of the stages, But then...

Dunno... Boss Theme sounds like it's better suited to be in the old NES game called Krion Conquest, and Final Boss Theme sounds like it's from the old Saga Frontier games, basically. Those two songs just really don't feel like "Megaman" music to me, at all.

I don't know, it's close between 1 and 2.

Though that tune is used in various remixes for 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8, 9 and Mega Man & Bass.

So only 3, 5 and 6 have original stage selected themes.

Anyway, just ordered this puppy off Play-Asia for $26.80. The things I do for MegaMan...

...I figure if I can't own MM9 tangibly, the soundtrack will do nicely, especially since it's packaged so nicely.

The only thing I hate is that they used the MM2 Get Weapon theme. Hell, they should've made a new theme or used MM3's.

I'm very annoyed at the decision of WEAPON GET!! being from Megaman 2 as well... That particular jingle was one of the worst in the series.

I'm very surprised at how well the designs fit with the Classic series in this age of putting eight billion doohickeys on robots.

Tracks 1 - 7 (Opening 1, 2, 3, Title, Menu, Stage Select, and Game Start).
Tracks 8 - 10 (Concrete Man, Tornado Man, and Splash Woman).
Tracks 11 - 13 (Plug Man, Jewel Man, and Hornet Man).
Tracks 14 - 17 (Magma Man, Galaxy Man, and Boss Music).
Tracks 18 - 21 (Get Weapon, Shop, Rush Jet, and Suspense).

I like how Tornado Man, the Robot Master everyone seems to hate, has the best stage music.

Magma, Jewel, and Plug Man are great too.

The only one I don't totally like right now is Jewel Man or whatever. Looks like a mantastic Gemini Man, except lamer.

I think Splash Woman looks great. I haven't listened to any of the music, I'll just hear it when the game comes which I assume I'll want to get even though downloadable content is bullshirt.
