Though, Proto man's whistle isn't there either.

OBJECTION!

It's in it. Listen to "OLD SE" in the OST.

DESTROY ALL HUMANS DESTROY ALL HUMANS

"Hey baby, wanna kill all humans?"

Duo at least LEFT.

Yeah but it was a gay PF write-out they never really had him do anything even though he logically should have still been a least a bit important. And then they don't bother mentioning him ever again. I don't care at all whether or not he's in THIS game since he clearly left-at least for a while-but I'd rather see him not forgotten and wasted the way he was.

Read if you want or not.

I was gonna do that anyway, you don't need to TELL me I have a choice, you're not my dad!

You've been criticising my posts for some time....

What's up wit dat!?

I wasn't serious...

Power Battles 2

Power Fighters. Or to be really nitpicky, MegaMan 2: The Power Fighters. It isn't important really, but it's also a whole other name so maybe it is a bit.

ANYWAY I'm sure Bass will be in the game, it only makes sense. I just want to see something with Duo in it that isn't a fighting game or the #####tiest Battle Network game in time, since I think he was a pretty wicked character and they could have played out some of the story with him a little more. I don't care for lots of plot in these games or anything, that'd be stupid, but I'd still like to go a little somewhere in each one.

I couldn't disagree more.  Duo is best left as a one off character.  He's really not any more engraned than the Game Boy MM Hunters.  Plus he was part of the whole Evil Energy bit that really just doesn't fit with the series and also had a hand in the whole "physial manifestation" Maverick virus #####.

You're not wrong, what I'm really sore about is he just sort of left and it was all left untied and they never wrapped up what that was about. I more would like to see a conclusion to that story than the return of the actual character. Although he still rocks.

Less than a week till release and I've finally come to another possible stumbling point: pre-boss dialogue. If they throw that in I might have to indulge in a little mindless slaying.

I bet if they do put it in it'll be like in MM4 with all the text appearing on screen, then you press A and all the next text appears right away, instead of scrolling text.

In this news update, it confirms that those MM9 Retail packages WILL be for sale.

: Capcom-Unity
You remember the Capcom Store, right?  You should:  it's the place where you're going to get your hot little hands on [MM9 Retail Package].

Also, they said those fake-boxart shirts will be available soon. So, let's keep our eyes peeled!

I've got enough cash to get 'em.

Haha, they did directly answer my question. That makes me feel good inside.

Yeah, Mike, I'm pretty sure they're ONLY going to be available on the website. To the first 200 people to buy them. They'll probably be available for like an hour, max. Ugh.

If I don't get it, I guess I'll settle for the shirt...

Cossack lives through Beat.  And Kalinka emails Roll every day!

Actually, if Dr. C would stop pounding vodka shots into the early morning maybe Capcom would let him back in.

It had better ACTUALLY be hard.

Because for me, MM1-6 are no longer challenging, but that's just because I've played them over and over again.

So, basically, I just want to be challenge playing a MegaMan game again.

You know what I noticed? MMX5 and X6 are the only MegaMan games that ever still give me trouble, and it's not because they're hard... it's because they're cheap. Terrible level design led to, instead of well-designed challenges, just cheap mini-bosses and annoying areas.

I mean, Duff McWhalen's stage is the dumbest level ever in any MegaMan game.

Like, I really hate the sort of people you're describing, but I can't really deny it.

I definitely remember when the Classic MegaMan games were so #####ing hard for me, and I've noticed them get easier every time I play them, until I can't watch anyone else play them or it pisses me off every time they die.

Posted on: 20 September 2008, 02:28:55

Oh, and great #####ing news. It turns out there IS a way to connect my Wii to the internet here, and I just never #####ing knew because I never looked into it!

So, Monday is still MM9 day for me!

I'll get it whenever.

Like, I really hate the sort of people you're describing, but I can't really deny it.

My friend has that application, and it just pisses me off and makes me want a 360 less everytime he talks about his at all. And he's never been like that before so it's worse.

Uh, yeah. Super Mario Bros. was like that too. Yes, it was. It's just like everything else, practice makes perfect.

IGN is weird.

They gave Mega Man 2 on the NES a 7.8, but on the Virtual Console, it was a 9.5.

Anyway, Mega Man 9 sounds good enough to me.
