Life. Is. Awesome. So, I go on GameFAQs. Checking the MM9 board to see if anybody had a list of the Top Scores for Endless Attack so I wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of hooking my Wii up to the internet. I see the following topic: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=950625&topic=45830718Basically, it's this one guy who got a Promo Code for the MM9 Press Kit at Capcom-Unity, and didn't want it. So he was giving it out to the first person who asked. By some miracle, I was the first person who asked. I have ordered the MM9 Press Kit and it shall be delivered in not too long. I'm. So. Happy. |

You got lucky getting the kit, I'm sure you'll manage. Kick his ass, Mike.But like I said, congrats Man, you certainly deserve it. I don't really care about it, only because I can sell it for more. Also, they're hosting a contest over at the CBBS, I gave it a shot, because I don't want to go by pure luck and hope for them to give it to me. I have to write why I'm the ultimate MM fan, so I did. As well as a picture at the end. Enjoy I guess. [spoiler]Well, this is my first blog post in about.. Ever. I'm doing it just to get a slim chance of getting that kit wider, not just me, a friend of mine as well. I'll get into that later, since it actually proves that I'm the "ultimate Mega Man", or whatever cheesey title Capcom is forcing me to call myself! Thats cool though, because with all the Mega Man games I've played I can at least do that for the big fat company that created our favorite Blue Bomber. I've played everything they threw at me, I may not have completed it, but thats because I already know what happens due to: a) Being spoiled by the members at other Mega Man fansites. b) Being uninterested in the game *coughbattlenetworkcoughstarforcecough* Hey, don't get me wrong, they were fun no doubt, Capcom knows how to create a fun game despite the weird stuff they stuff into it. Remember that part in StarForce where Geo rides that bull? Exactly my point! Weird but still entertaining down to the last "whatamIfightingfoooor!?". My favorite games and series in the franchise are the original and the X series, as well as Zero series coming in third. Thats because I love how the series sticks to its roots even 20 years later, jump, shoot and get a new weapon. My collection may not be in the highest of ranks, but I've been there and done that with everything they pelted at me. And for that, I'm eternally greatful for Mega Man 9, it went right back to its ORIGINAl roots, I've never experienced the birth of Mega Man on the NES, I was too young, but I was there for Mega Man 7. First game I played, I remember that to this day etc etc. I could go on telling everyone how I played this and completed that and almost chucked THIS out of the window because I couldn't complete it. But I've got to get to the main reason why I consider myself the "ultimate Mega Fan" (See Capcom? I made it Mega Cheesey!) The reason why I consider myself the Ultimate fan is because how Mega Man affected my real life, how corny is that? Way corny, because I profited from Mega Man in the best way, its the way I met my oldest and best friend, yeah corny level is off the chart right now. Believe me I know. We've known eachother since grade 5, where a freak accident occured, we were both talking about Mega Man at the same time and place, and just happened to notice eachother and started talking to eachother. About 7 years later and we're still keeping it strong, we can't go a day without talking to eachother about Mega Man, and he's probably writing up a blog about the same thing right now. Still not as cool and witty as mine I bet, mine is always going to be the pillar of supreme cooliness, cooler than Proto Man even, hard to believe I know[/arrogance] He's a member here too, Someguy's his name, you might have seen his collection of Mega junk, its the one with the crazy cut out Mega Man standee. He also has a giant standee of Axl, no idea why, Axl's weird.. but yeah, we're the best of friends and its all thanks to Mega Man, soon we'll be 18 and we'll still be talking about Mega Man, Capcoms definitely got a grip on us. Whatever, its cool! And thats about it, hopefully they'll choose this blog as one of the winners, or maybe my friends. And if he wins it and gets all that cool stuff, I'll be there to bask in the glorry, and give him a congratulatory punch, and another, and another! i know this a little off topic but i found something good that is going to piss capcom off someone is continuing the megaman x series in fan game glory and from the demo it looks like we might as well be making the newer titles let capcom have starforce and bn and zero and zx it is called megaman new horizon i think does not have charge yet just demo |
